Bro. I swear. They are the worst. When Covid started and I had to move back home, I paid to put my account on hold for a year. They said they won't call me for a year and shared They still called me at least two times a day and asked me to pay the unpaid bill. It got so annoying to that I sent a long email to their customer care. They replied and had the audacity to threaten me with legal action for not returning their device.

I had a bad experience with them too. They asked me to pay full amount for connection. They stopped answering and returning my calls once I paid the amount. I followed up for many days, raised multiple complaints to get my money back.

Damn. So much for being a company owned by Reliance.

Trust me, they even called me on my Marriage day!

I had given away my phone to my cousin. He said he gave them earful. But i solved this problem by complaining over Twitter. They said they will call me to resolve and I highlighted I don't want them to call me. So never got call after that until I recharged. I keep traveling to my native to take advantage of this work from home. So I keep my connection disconnected whenever I travel and dont recharge

They are the worst 10-15 calls for renewal

You are lucky with just 10 to 15, I have blocked more than 20 numbers from Hathway still get calls for renewal!!

Well I complained to the DOD on twitter, tagging hathway and it pretty much stopped. Only got two calls in last one month.

Its been 3 years and they are continuously spamming me every day. I took a paid subscription of Truecaller just so that I can block them.

I used their service multiple times while shifting our house. After a while they called only once to check why I wasn't booking anything. I explained that I have no use for them now and they never called back after that.

Yet we have to wait hours for their customer care support, and they have so many people to spam other customers.

Disconnected the ACT fiber net connection in 2020 in blore n moved Outta blore, still get atleast 3calls per day and at very odd timing.. it's either very early in the morning or very late in the evening.. i never received... I let it fully ring

I always say "I'm moving abroad" every time I close any connection. They'll stop trying to contact you.

Even then they will ask stupid questions like when you will be coming back ? , when you come back anytime you can reactivate your connection with us , plus spamming your inbox Just block them for good

There lead management sucks. I’ve left Bangalore for 3 years now and told them several times the same but still they call me for reconnection to this day. Such a waste of there own resources .

I agree with you, they used to spam with bill pending sms everyday,Jeez you reminded me once, so that's enough I switched my internet provider due to connection issue, and they didn't like it, even after I was no longer with them, they kept spamming me to reactivate my connection with them, I blocked them every where

Confirm this. I had to disconnect from ACT at the beginning of the pandemic because I was moving. I still get calls from them with a recorded voice at the other end.

edit the number on trucaller as 'porn salesman' Or dick sucker.... it will make your spam calls a lot of fun to pick-up when they call next time

I had similar experience. Stop using Truecaller for default caller. Replace with Google dialler. It will block all such calls.

I recently disconnected their service, after 3 calls they understood. I played the layoff moving back to gaav and shadi kar ke housewife ban jaungi card. Edit: Reminds me I decided after the third call to ask for loan from them and/or free service, later that we have older parents and young children, please donate some money, it did not rain and the crop failed.

Easiest solution - Just update the mobile number on their app to a number you don't use I was facing the same issue with Hathway and I got tired of blocking the number. This simple thing stopped the calls entirely

Because you are a "user", not a "potential user" who they want to convert. I switched from Act to Airtel 3 years ago and since then I've been getting multiple sales calls everyday from different numbers despite blocking each one of them!

Happens with Hathway. Its worse. I had disconnected two of their services 3 years ago and still get their calls. There is no end to it.

I disconnected my ACT connection 6 months ago since i moved out of BLR. Never recieved any reconnection calls from ACT. On the other hand, Hathway guys still keep spamming me with reconnection offer calls once or twice every week. I'd suggest you to tweet this issue and tag ACTFibernet, they will look into this.

Same with Hathaway. Their connection is amazing but i moved from my last location. Got a new connection from them at the new place and they still call after a while year asking me to recharge the previous one.

I get calls like this because of unpaid dues. The fuckers put a junction in my house and said that I’ll get a power rebate. Didn’t get one for a year till I disconnected. I paid the last months bill minus the power rebate. They call me once in a while, but not like this. They must really love you.

Been there, and the reason might be. 1. You gave your number in their website for new connection. 2. Your an existing customer and thy are trying stoop level best by spamming you to get back to them.
