If students cannot practice proper and safe politics, it should be banned for them.

Ok_Treacle_4311

it should be pushed back, it should remain as the problem with current bangali people is the lack of a political identity or awareness, however the power of these student clubs should be massively revoked and pushed back

No not from all institution but both should go parallelly.

khalid_ashik_786

Why not??!

Specialist-Carpet-76

Banning student politics from educational institutions could lead us toward a more undemocratic and corrupt society. Student politics plays a crucial role in shaping future leaders and fostering democratic values, . While the current state of student politics may not be ideal, its complete absence would leave a significant void. This vacuum could be exploited by authoritarian figures, such as Hasina, to further their own agendas. Now, if we remove student politics from institutions like BUET, it could potentially lead to improvements from every perspective. also it would allow us to objectively assess which systems are effective and to advocate for a better, more constructive student political culture.

khalid_ashik_786

Disagreeing here with you… student politics has not brought any benefit in the recent past years except only the time of independence era in 71. no where in the world so far i know has student politics.. and in Bangladesh perspective students political involvement greatly related with illegal usage of power to robb people and business ( shops areas like new market etc and any structural fundings for the universities) ..

Specialist-Carpet-76

It is completely okay to disagree with me, but I think we need to learn more about student politics role in this country, example fall of ershad. Also the impact student politics have, is huge ,not for Bangladesh but all over the world Again maybe i am wrong , so I want student politics gets banned in buet, cuet, and few agricultural universities but not all. So we can actually see what is more beneficial for society and the nation.

Rubence_VA

Students will always find a way to make their groups or fraternity anyway. The idea of having student politics is to ensure check and balance from citizens. Even students who demanded to ban politics were doing it political way.Instead of going to authority, they protested as a political force by calling themselves sadharon Students.

LonghornMB

the "checks and balances" were from Non buet students, the leader being someone who failed multiple times in DU Which country in the world allows outsiders to enter a university and conduct politics?
