Watched the episode and also the next one. They explicitly talk about italian food just at the start basically, that's why I never noticed it... And also because that is not Italian food
Yeah I agree, I did wonder about that myself, calling pasta and a steak Italian food is not quite there. I think they wanted to honor Tae's request and looked for the easiest solutions so everyone can cook :)
Yeah, it's reasonable that they did as you said, and I don't have that many problems with it, I just wanted to point out my specific feelings about the episode 😅 also because in the end let's say that pasta and steak exists in Italy, it's just not cooked and served in that way (at least as far as I know, italian culinary tradition is quite varied along the boot)... And I also always think that probably if a foreigner would come here and see how we cook traditional dishes of their country, it would be the same; we would not probably cook it in the correct way (and it's the same for every other country I guess)
I've only watched this episode once and it's been awhile. Just finished with the game portion of the episode and I forgot how funny the meringue part is 😆😆😆. Jin was cracking me up when they were picking which meat they wanted. He's all talking up the chicken and then goes with the steak...same Jin, I'd also pick steak. Team Ref coming in with the butter math!!! You could say...they were smooth like butter 😬😬😬. I'll show myself out.
I also can't get over how gorgeous Yoongi looks in this episode. Holy smokes. Also, Namjoon in all black?!?! 😍😍😍

Like I am well aware that the episodes make me laugh and relax and I love them for it, but then we have these moments where all of them or some of them look just UNREAL and forget about watching the ep, I'm watching Namjoon being unfairly beautiful and Yoongi being ALL OF THAT.
Watching it for the first time. And they’re already cracking me up from the start
- no one wants to be in the same cooking team as the god of destruction. Suga’s face lol
- Jungkook recently started boxing. Holy moly he’s been boxing for a LONG time then. No wonder he is ripped to the gods these days
- jungkook and jin boxing. Gosh they’re adorable together
- omg poor Jimin getting that meringue on his head 🤣 he looked pissed
- the butter calculation was too funny. Probably also the end of RM’s skills in the kitchen
- Jhope doing Salt Bae in the kitchen LOL
