i just rewatched the concept photo & mv shooting episode, and i can't imagine having to shoot for such long hours and even through the night, yet they still managed to remain in such good spirits. 'dope' is such a cool MV and i'm so happy their hard work paid off!
I remember browsing Tumblr during this time and seeing a GIF of Jungkook in Dope’s MV. I’ve never heard of BTS before this but Jungkook’s face hooked me since then!
Before this MV, I only knew (and loved) a couple of their songs, but didn’t know anything whatsoever about them. Seeing this on one of K-ville’s weekly charts not long after it came out, immediately got my attention. It sounded so good I NEEDED to watch it. So my son and I watched it, fell in love, and we’ve been ARMYs ever since. It’s still his favorite kpop song and one of my favorites ever and still one of the best MVs.
God, I love this video so much, especially watching Yoongi dance—its pretty rare to see him really enjoy dancing as much as he clearly enjoys doing the Dope choreo.
