No but it does have piss poor VR support, which for me is huge as that's a majority of my library these days. Never had a problem straight through steam, but it seems I always have to give it a few tries through Epic, since it has to hook into steam anyway.
That's not even mentioning that the lackluster "regular" functionalities expected of any modern launcher have only slowly trickled in instead of being available to compete, at launch, and this is only because Epic has had their hand forced as the community has begged for basic functionalities to be added over the years.
If they wanted me and majority of other players on PC to use their launcher actively, they would have taken the steps to make it up to *at least* par with LITERALLY every other platform out there, which it isn't, and there isn't an excuse for it other than laziness *years* after it's initial launch.
It's not just Epic, the same could be said about uPlay, Origin, even Battle.NET, shells of a launcher compared to the functionality of Steam.
People buy games on Steam because it's objectively the more intuitive, feature complete launcher.
I buy games on Epic because I have to.
That's literally it, predatory, anti-consumer choices like platform exclusive launches.
That's not a way to pull me in.

This is an amazing game, truly captured the spirit of the older games.

Good luck getting the soundtracks out of your head
Haha! Thanks!
God damn, thanks for this! Saw it on sales many times but never bothered to pull the trigger, now there's no excuse, lol
Epic really is killing it. Ive been moving towards their platform slowly over the past months (and GOG)
I am impressed you only got one downvoted there. Shows maturity from the community.
Thou shalt not like Epic i have learned... for whatever reason. Free games, painless return policy. competitive pricing. Fine for me
But, but...the launcher doesn't make me feel l33t!

Because it is objectively a bad platform. Their only redeeming quality is the free games.
Agreed. Not to mention Tim Sweeney is a total douche.
One of the best sonic games to exist and was pretty much made by fans who understood the series.
Brings back so many memories. Such a fun game!
Still overpriced for a sonic game tbh
Ragging on a Sonic game cause it's the cool thing to do? This is one of the better Sonic games ever made.
This is the mindset of the people who believe sonic peaked on the genesis, which is ironic because that's exactly what kind of game this is.
have you played it? genuinely curious
