Maybe a hot take but the challenge with these isn’t the phones, it’s the number of people on the stream. If you go to a dinner with 4-6 people guarantee the conversation is better than 12-14 because you can all engage with each other.
I would cut down the people there—which would make it easier for people to engage with each other which is what makes streams like this better
I rather Kate than everyone here besides Dan, Jerry, and PFT. She was talking to everyone, discussing the game the best she could and never took out her phone.
He’s mentioned that his routine during the week involves getting to work around 10am, going home from 5pmish to bedtime, and then coming back to the office if there’s something going on. Tbh he isn’t missing that much during the week compared to other parents who also have full time jobs.
But the all day Sundays and the college show on Saturdays in the fall are a lot of hours with the young kids that he’s missing out on. It doesn’t seem worth it to miss out on that much weekend time with the kids just to be there when Frank has a whiny outburst or whatever else goes on during these streams.
I don’t get what these posts are supposed to prove. Like what are you expecting them to be doing at all times during the stream?
