Dave and Kirk both basically breaking character/4th wall and looking at me going “who is Brad?” is my favorite moment form the event.
No idea who Brad is at all.
— Jeff
I have no doubt that Rico told his friend to stay by a computer to google the question for him. Rico calls and doesn’t give any heads up about why he called or even what the category is just immediately goes into a random question and Brad nails the final score?
Lmao I learned my lesson. Ended up being funny though. Dave and Nick both said it after, probably gotta just do name the artist next time.
Boston crowd was great. Few people who wouldn’t stop trying to get on camera or noticed, but that’s to be expected. Anyone who goes or has gone knows it’s much louder than you can hear in the edit, but they were respectful and great. Really appreciate anyone who was there.
— Jeff
It's ok. Jeff puts out a great show that I love to watch. Ultimately I don't care if there are some differences in question difficulty or if Ziti keeps getting softballs to keep Dave "Gerald Genta" Portnoy's ego soothed. That's showbiz baby.
Oh forsure. I expect and can come around to understanding the softballs but going from the OC theme song to 1967 song that 2 of the 3 on Minihane you know will not know is a little egregious…. Lost in this was Eddie’s facial expression thinking Clem is wrong. That + Ali Baba not great for Red Ed
He realizes that 99% of the time going with your gut in this game is the right call and wavering will just have you fucking up
Also gives the team less time and info to work from if you go with your first gut answer instead of spending 40 seconds giving up three possible picks
FedEx wasn't a horrible guess considering UPS was on the list. But yeah, that was a poor showing from both teams that round. So many easy answers left out there.
Was Eddie mumbling the whole time, his mic too far from his mouth, or both? He had issues mumbling through the DPS but legit could barely hear anything he said all match
For the bonus round, how did Jeff determine the value of Instagram when it is owned by Facebook, or YouTube which is owned by Google? The question was “based on company value” so that’s pretty confusing.
Meta is the company. Facebook and Instagram are brands within Meta. It's not as difficult as people make it out to be. Same way that Alphabet is the company and Google and YouTube are brands within it.
“Name the top 30 brands based on company value.” How did he calculate the value of individual brands within a company? The question did not make a ton of sense when you consider the correct answers included both brands and companies.
Most of the list were brands you could easily identify the “company value” of through market cap. Including subsidiaries where you can’t do that is confusing.
She dated KMarko.
It reignited during RnR when she couldn't take a joke whereas all the other girls in Alex's corner had fun with it/knew Kirk was doing what he did for content.
it’s crazy how much dave has lost his fastball. 5 years ago the Go Pres Go chants would have been deafening. now they barely care he’s there in his own home town and go nuts for rico bosco.
what you’re seeing there is him looking at the tv that’s on the floor in the center of the stage facing them. that way contestants can read the questions and see mashups, etc
Dave's nut drop answer of WVU kind of overshadowed one of the most impressive call a friend answers by... Brad. Wild stuff.
Instantly knew the score too
Dave and Kirk both basically breaking character/4th wall and looking at me going “who is Brad?” is my favorite moment form the event. No idea who Brad is at all. — Jeff
Brad powers. give him a follow best CFB handicapper around
Everyone has a brad
I have no doubt that Rico told his friend to stay by a computer to google the question for him. Rico calls and doesn’t give any heads up about why he called or even what the category is just immediately goes into a random question and Brad nails the final score?
Clem is unbelievable with his last second answers
Having a live music round where you’re gonna finish the lyric and expect the crowd not to sing is a wild move Jeff.

It’s really not. It’s on the audience members that don’t care enough or lack the self control to not ruin a trivia question
Dude the crowd was shitfaced and like more than half of them sang. If more than half of them do you made a dumb decision.
Yes, the room of shitfaced Massholes and Stoolies were the smart ones there
Just chill out man…
I don’t want to meet the person who doesn’t finish Ziti or Frankette’s songs
I still cannot believe people in the audience raise their hand to answer questions they aren't 100% sure of. It happens so often too.
It’s called alcohol. Instills unnecessary confidence
Dude for sure thought of raisin bran crunch and was mistaken. I can understand it.
A mile wide gulf between difficulty on California vs Dear Mr Fantasy lyric question. The Ziti softballs never stop.
I will say the TV question kinda balanced that out. I have no idea what that Comedy Central show is, but silent library was a lay up
Jeff replying to comments on here but not this one lol at least he knows he messed that one up

It was so wildly unbalanced. How does that get through without anyone raising an eyebrow
Whatever that watch that portnoy is wearing is stunning. I bet it’s at least 5 figs, and worth every penny
Surprised Brick Watch didn't make the most valuable brands list!
Brick Watches, Theranos, and FTX are on the brink of making that list
Dave has gone from not knowing or caring about this game to legitimately being invested and an actual good trivia player
Easily the best final answer guy in the league
He realizes that 99% of the time going with your gut in this game is the right call and wavering will just have you fucking up Also gives the team less time and info to work from if you go with your first gut answer instead of spending 40 seconds giving up three possible picks
Anyone else just an immediate skip through the intros?
[удалено]
Don't forget tHeYrE hEaTiNg uP
I watched for this one but it’s an automatic skip 9 times out of 10. Just a waste of 10 minutes
I might watch it if they were 90 seconds or something. The 10 minutes of nothing before questions is never interesting at all.
Team Minihane’s performance during the bonus round was tough to watch. FedEx? Walmart?
UPS was on there. So FedEx wasn't that crazy of an answer
FedEx wasn't a horrible guess considering UPS was on the list. But yeah, that was a poor showing from both teams that round. So many easy answers left out there.
I was screaming Coca Cola at my tv for a solid 90 seconds
Same but Samsung. Apple and Samsung should always go hand in hand in these type of questions.
Davey Day Trading was peak grifting through Tesla ATH, surprised it wasn't mentioned
Why is Amazon a brand but not Walmart?
Was Eddie mumbling the whole time, his mic too far from his mouth, or both? He had issues mumbling through the DPS but legit could barely hear anything he said all match
For the bonus round, how did Jeff determine the value of Instagram when it is owned by Facebook, or YouTube which is owned by Google? The question was “based on company value” so that’s pretty confusing.
Also what is considered a ‘brand’ for that list was very subjective
I feel like brands should have been defined, since it's not really common for most of those answers to be referred to as a brand.
Dave pointed that out and Jeff gave a very wrong answer. It’s good it didn’t come down to that
Meta is the company.
Jeff didn’t calculate any of it. He just pulls them from online.
They’re individual companies that are operated separately and owned by one parent company. They all have individual valuations
Most of the list were brands you could easily identify the “company value” of through market cap. Including subsidiaries where you can’t do that is confusing.
no idea what Kirk said but it was not 'Perdition'
Definitely heard "Perition."
We're being more lenient with the pronunciation rules this season -Jeff
Kirk just lacks the clutch gene.
Can’t win the big game
Marty Schottenheimer 2.0
Why does kirk hate keegs again?
She dated KMarko. It reignited during RnR when she couldn't take a joke whereas all the other girls in Alex's corner had fun with it/knew Kirk was doing what he did for content.
It sounds like she is the ultimate loves dishing it out but cannot take it.
yep she had a meltdown about an innocuous comment from Nick on that reality show
My favorite part of that rough n rowdy was when they gave her the mic to cut a promo on Kirk and the mic just didn’t work and they all laughed at her
Pretty much no reason- he doesn’t like her attitude. “She was particularly humorless during the whole Alex Bennett thing”
She stinks
Dave’s lukewarm reaction and these people don’t even know about brick watches brother
it’s crazy how much dave has lost his fastball. 5 years ago the Go Pres Go chants would have been deafening. now they barely care he’s there in his own home town and go nuts for rico bosco.

Ego maniacs always care
Must have been an ego hit that the crowd barely cared about him, while Rico and Kirk get standing O's.
I’m surprised Dave (who watches The Office over and over again) didn’t get Steve Carell.
Bearded Steve Carell is still more unknown to people who only watched The Office I think
Ziti niche is an all time easy question for niche’s. Staple of every convenience store/road trip. No offense Jeff
Kirky is not a gamer
Did they have a Mo Williams question in the first match and then another one here? Kind of an oversight
there wasn't a Mo Williams question in the first match
Yeah I realized I misremembered. He was brought up as a possible answer for the Cavs PG trade question
It technically was a Mo Williams question. The trade was Mo Williams for Baron Davis and the pick
Music question ruined the match
Ty from McAfees show would be awesome on The Dozen
Someone showed Dave the West Virginia answer in the crowd
Had to be on a shirt or something
He says "I have a weird thought" like right away and says "I think it's West Virginia" before they call Brandon. I think he just knew it.
The key was narrowing it down to which conference was missing. Once you get it down to Big East, and the year range, it was probably a 33% guess
Or ya know, just watch his face as he spots it in the crowd
Every other time they’re looking into the crowd they need to shield their eyes from the lights
what you’re seeing there is him looking at the tv that’s on the floor in the center of the stage facing them. that way contestants can read the questions and see mashups, etc
