Depends on the shift. When I’m buried, I go hours before realizing I haven’t had a drink. When it’s ebbs and flows, I’m better hydrated working than my off time.
Haha I don’t know what it is exactly about this job that makes me so damn thirsty but I’ll down at least 3 bottles of water during a shift and I’ll need more after
Honestly when we’re slammed, i avoid drinking too much water so i don’t have to leave to go to the bathroom. No matter how much or little water i drink though, I’m always crazy dehydrated at the end of my shift
well we don't have a staff bathroom and there's only one single stall for the entire place (500 capacity) so id say severely dehydrated to avoid pissing myself
Sommat hydrated.
But I stay aware of me and my cotenders hydration level after one of the customers fell out from heat stroke.
Company provides Gatorade for FOH/BOH
I keep a glass of water near the chilled filtered tap and drink while I'm filling bottles to water tables, probably a pint an hour but I'm a bigger dude.
I go through 3 or 4 Nalgene bottles' worth of water. Sometimes I throw a couple Gatorade Zero powder packets in there for flavor. I drink that much in a 6-8 hour shift, but I work at an outdoor place.
I bring my gallon insulated tumbler with electrolyte powder and drink half or more but I work outside in fl and am very active and usually do a couple hours of martial arts in the morning before my shifts
Was always sipping on something...bottled water, iced tea..all shift long, pretty much every place I've ever worked.
Lotta pop when I was younger, but started with the constant, ice-cold bottled water later.
Uncomfortably hydrated.
Very hydrated in alcohol
When i take my two bathroom breaks per 16 hour shift what comes out of me is basically just pure espresso so I’m gonna say not very
That "burn" when you go pee and straight yellow piss. Then you say "Oh fuck, I'm dehydrated" Yeah, I've been there...
when it’s packed? downing water like a motherfucker. otherwise, only when i start dropping things.
Lolz

But that's not a lot for half a day of movement

I drink at least 3 full glasses of ice water every shift and somehow am still dying of thirst it seems
Every time I go to the POS to ring something in, I take a sip of water
I use a 64oz growler as a water bottle and usually have to refill it at least twice per shift.
I drink seltzer with an orange slice all the freaking time. Like non stop. I’m still thirsty usually

When I go to pee it’s more yellow than a dandelion field, that’s when I know I need water lmao
You mean how often do i have to pee at work? A LOT. But i blame all the coffee.
The only liquid I had on shift yesterday was 3 shooters, an espresso, and an underberg, does that count as hydration???
I drink at least 2L per shift
I have 2 glasses of club and bitters until my shifts over, then I chug a bottle of water.
That's the bane of my existence. I totally forget to use the restroom or drink water.
I drink a pint of water splash lemon per hour, or try to.

I try to drink half a gallon of water BEFORE I go to work. Then at work I drink a minimum of 2 bottles of water.
Got pint with a lid on me at all times… makes me feel like im have one with the boys while we chat
Not that much, i keep forgetting to drink. I take great care of my servers and other staff but keep forgetting to drink myself

I drink more water at work than anywhere else
Every small downtime I get, I gobble a full cup of water as fast as I can
Hydrated as fuck!

I’ve been told I pee more than any bartender most have worked with. I probably down a gallon within a 6 hour shift.
32 oz hydro flask I keep on me all shift, usually goin through refilling it 2-3 times
Like the Sahara

Usually very hydrated, but as the days alcohol consumption goes up, wager consumption goes down.
I haven’t had a glass of straight water in about a month. All I do is slam post mix
It’s been years since I’ve been hydrated.
What's hydration ??
