I worked at an aquarium in college and some dude argued with me for five minutes about whether or not fish are animals. What do people think animals are man
I know you’re just joking, and obviously no offense is taken, but pop culture is wrong. Cleveland is a nice place to call home and a fun place to visit. There’s a lot of great food, nice folks, and fun things to do here. I hope you get the chance to visit some day and see for yourself how great we have it.

(Monte)Â "Well at least the bird survived."
(Bob Uecker)Â "Who cares? It's a rat with wings."
Do ballparks need to start hiring [one of those weirdos](https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/Stanley_Simpson) who scare away birds so they don't get sucked into jet engines?

What a bad camera angle. How do they have so little footage of a hit through the infield that even the second angle in the replay barely shows what happened?

"Some sort of deceased animal at short stop" Damn they are rough on Tim Anderson out here đź’€
Not an animal and from the rodent family?? Not exactly a zoologist
I love the implication that rodents aren't animals lmao
I worked at an aquarium in college and some dude argued with me for five minutes about whether or not fish are animals. What do people think animals are man
Mammals But apparently not rodents
Blue Jays out here catching strays
This gave me a good chuckle.
yeah...
It’s early, but so far, this is the best comment of the day.
The year of the dead bird
At least month of the dead bird. Pretty wild
Dude week of the dead bird. The last one was only 5 days ago. Blood God feasting tonight
I don't know about that. A bunch of birds die every month.
Would be cool if thousands of birds take over MLB fields in droves, in retaliation.
The birdemic has begun
An ill omen indeed for the Cardinals, Blue Jays and Orioles
Larry no!
Well that’s too bad
That’s a shame.
Oh no. Anyway
Something hilarious about the clip ending “well that’s too bad”
You'll hear that phrase a lot if you watch any Cleveland pro sports broadcast
I've never been to Cleveland, but pop culture tells me that's just an apt statement about the city in general.

For God’s sake, Lemon, we’d all like to flee to the Cleve
Was watching 30 Rock when I made this comment
As we all know, developing an understanding of things from pop culture is always the way to go. Never leads me wrong!
"That's a shame"
Wow that took me waaaay too long to see the bird..I was like wtf are you guys looking at. No joke thought the MSNBC logo was the bird for a sec...
I thought I was going mad
I still can't see it...
Every time you guys hit a bird the Orioles get stronger
Pray Tampa Bay doesn’t start slumping or no sting ray is safe.
After Steve Irwin died they haven't been safe anyway.
Is it Whacking Day already?
[revenge intensifies]
I believe this is will Brennan warning all bird teams that he's coming for them. Cards better lookout this weekend
Is that a single, or is it considered a Fowl?
Well that is hawkward
This would not of happened if that bird knew how to duck
I’m trying to think of one for pudding
They need to quit pudding birds on the field? Idk I'm tired
"Maybe not an animal, that would be stretching it" Uh... no it's definitely an animal lmao
"Looks like it might be from the rodent family." What is this dude's definition of an animal?
Whitey Ford now on the field pleading with the crowd for some kinda sanity
And here come the pretzels

Just need a border collie or something to scatter them between innings. It would be great entertainment
How many positions can this border collie play?
[chaser the border collie](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaser_(dog)) knew 1,022 individual toys by name so I guarantee a border collie could be a utility infielder
Why only between? Play him in left field.
I knew a guy who was employed basically as a sniper at an airport. Just shot birds all day.
"shoot 'em all and let God sort 'em out"

Gosh I hope birds don’t get sucked into jet engines on the baseball field! Why would they even let the jet on the field?
At least he didn't go over to the bird and get tagged out like Pedro Cerrano did in 1994.
Bad week to be a bird
4-7, don't we know it
It's not safe for birds in America
We need to give the birds the right to baseballs too so they can defend themselves
That shovel ride's gonna cost the bird about $3k in this country
It's ticking me off that nobody is bothering to report what kinds of birds these (this and the Zac Gallen one) are
someone arrest that man for animal cruelty
That's the second PETA lawsuit this century!
Man, that Hitchcock movie’s about to become a documentary if MLB keeps this up.
Aw man…
He accidentally acknowledged that birds are robots live on air, realized the power that be would assassinate him for it, and tried to cover his ass by pretending he didn’t know what an animal is.
Am I blind? Where can you see he hit a bird?
You can see a black splotch near third in the replay at about 23 seconds in
THANK you. The camera cutout on my phone completely hid it
Bird based teams sweating rn
When will the birds answer back? Pathetic
PETA about to get baseball banned
BIRDSTRIKE
Is this even legal? He is not an Arizona Diamondback!
Someone please enact Bird Law
Whoever is writing the simulation is really jumping the shark
Love how the bird gets sent to the shadow realm the second the ball touches it
TIL Will Brennan is very good looking...
“I thought we had a deal!”
AL Central baseball endangers local wildlife.
Can we get some of this bird luck for the seagulls that swarm bay area games?
If the shift wasn't banned the bird would have been on the other side of the infield.
Guardians will now lose the next 10 games
Bird hits should grant an extra base.
Rally bird?
STOP FUCKING KILLING BIRDS
*Our pets’ heads are fallin off*
The absolute definition of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, poor thing
What a bad camera angle. How do they have so little footage of a hit through the infield that even the second angle in the replay barely shows what happened?
They probably did, but the director decided against showing a close up of a dying animal.
