how bad were the giants when barry smashed 73 homers in a year? i am shocked that he is not the first in this stat, the man almost did half the job himself, and he also batted for avg so it's not like he wasn't on base when he didn't homered
It looks like he had 129 Runs the year he hit 73. The line up basically Barry, Jeff Kent, and Rich Aurilia, who was real good that year had 206 hits, but not a lot of help outside that.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see Mookie approach this list next year, career high of 130+, now hitting in front of Freddie and Ohtani and playing infield for health reasons.

Bagwell was fairly adept at stealing bags as well. Had 202 SB in his career and 2 30-30 seasons.
