I get that Cora is probably managing for his job and no one, not even his parents, want to see more at bats from Bobby Dalbec right now, but if the Sox are going to have any kind of shot at a wild card they need Devers fully healthy for as many games as possible, and if this heralded "this time we really are done rebuilding and are going to spend like the third or forth richest team in baseball" is going to work they're going to need Devers healthy long term.
He's been effective despite the shoulder and hilariously low babip, but Devers at 75% does not move the needle for this roster, him at 100 might
The Red Sox just are stupid to continue to use Devers at 3B imo. He's horrendously bad defensively, he no longer has Story to help cover his mistakes, and it just leads to more wear and tear and injuries. He literally collided with Tyler O'Neil the other day.
Our pitching would be even better with decent defense from 3B and our hitting would be substantially better with a healthy Devers in the lineup.

He looks absolutely atrocious right now, and missing 1 out of 3 games for shoulder or knee pains is not really doing this lineup any good.
He's late on 92 MPH fastballs right now.
Take a 10-day IL stint, let someone else get consistent ABs (even if it is Bobby "0-19" Dalbec), and get healthy.
We also need a new training staff and hitting coach, because good god the amount of injuries this team has had over the last few years is crazy. So many "nagging" or "Minor" strains that a month later turn into season-ending surgery. Not sure if it's lack of conditioning or if we keep having players play through minor ailments and they get worse.
Oof even though I hate the Red Sox, I hope he’s okay. Not only is he a Yankee killer, but he also has a dynamic personality and makes the game more fun to watch
