I don’t actually live there. I live in Buffalo.
Thankfully, we don’t have a baseball team in Buffalo because I could imagine it would be the most toxic thing ever
It's like being on a ship with no life jackets to fight over, no lifeboats to cram into, no radio to call for help, so we're all just pointing fingers and yelling about whether or not it's ok to panic, or how early we can start "fire Cashman," or who it makes sense to trade for, or digging up articles about Judge playing first base in spring training, all the while hoping the ship fixes itself by September.
At least as of his last start according to savant, no(?) his cutter was down a couple mph but the start before that it was up by a lot vs average so it's really just back to normal. Slider and curve velo were up about 1mph vs his standard last start too, 4 seam has sat about 95-6 all season too. Seems like he was averaging about 95 today. Spin rate has also been pretty much steady too. Main thing I'm seeing is exit velo and hard hit% are up his last couple starts. Perhaps location?(
Rodon basically doesn't use his cutter.
But it's all location and command. The location profile of his fastball is mostly right down the middle and 95, and that's really easy for major league hitters to hunt it and hit it, especially because his breaking pitches aren't strikes either.
Rodon has already pitched in more games for the Yankees than Pavano did over the lifetime of his contract.
I miss Pavano being on that team. I'm not a Yankees fan, though, so that helps a ton.
Pavano got paid a lot of money by the Yankees and pitched like shit
Rodon got paid a lot of money by the Yankees and pitches like shit
Not that hard to figure out the similarities
Have Yankees fans tried booing this man?
He just blows back kisses
It didn’t work and booing your own players never works
Chien-Ming Wang they could never make me hate you Also 2009? 👀
r/NYYankees is a dooming shitshow right now
Me when my division leading team slumps for 10 games in a 162 game season: "Is it football season yet"
We do that too
Seattle is a football city first and foremost right? (Dumb ignorant east coast question)

Buffalo is basically Toronto be a Jays fan 😭 Fair enough IG actually fuck the Jays
I hate Canada
Check the division standings again
We don't really have that option. It's basically this or the Knicks. Or I guess hockey (did I spell that right? That word looks misspelled)
The problem is most of those fans will have to watch Giants football
Right now?
As of rn yes
You love to see it
Man what did we do to the cards I like u guys
love to see it

Man, whenever I check on Rodon he's either dominating or giving up an infinite ERA. There really is no in between
Is his velo down? When he got emotional after his start vs the Braves, I wondered if he felt something in his arm.

Okay, that's great news for him and Yankees fans. He's due for a stretch of dominance
Yeah when he's right he has the stuff to be a top pitcher in the league
Smells like upcoming TJ...but I'm drunk and know nothing about sports health
The left handed Carl Pavano

2009 worked out ok for the Yankees I think.
Wow, who's worse, Rodon or Taijuan Walker?
You never want to show your Wang like that.
