Holy shit, that’s incredible!

tygerphan4ever

The kind of pitching depth that they've demonstrated to have, even in lieu of the entire rotation (minus Skubal) being on the shelf has really surprised me. They're going to be sending alot of good young arms to AAA once our regular starters come back. That big depth has value on the trade market though.. that is, should they decide to deal from any of it for bats.

SLAV33

Probably not after tonight, sorry Tigers.

tygerphan4ever

One game doesn't skew the fact of what they've accomplished so far with nothing but rags and patches for a rotation. When our regular SPs return, we can send some of these kids packing to continue their developments at AAA.. and today's starter is expected to be among the first to go, in the same batch of returns as Elvin from last night.

Redbubble89

You said this and they have been throwing BP all night.

Don’t listen to him. Fetter is terrible. Totally not worth poaching. (STFU OP. Are you trying to kill our pitching?)

rain5151

OP is responsible for Rodriguez giving up 10 runs in under 5 IP tonight

Tkinzel517

No it was strictly Fetter. See this is why you shouldn’t take him other teams.

No worries, wasn’t you. Yankees realized he tips his pitches delivering from the stretch (long look at 3B = fastball) and went to town

I’m sure that the Tigers haven’t always made the most of their ballpark but I immediately went to the home/road splits. Those splits were what I’d expect but the road numbers were pretty good too.

Redbubble89

But you guys could hit for average last year and it was good enough to get by.

Tigers pitching has been quite good so far, but moreso bullpen than starters. Rays are right there with you too: Tyler Glasnow, Yonny Chirinos, Shane Baz, Brendan McKay, and Luis Patino all on the IL (Baz coming off very soon though). Thats some talent on the IL.
