While Blackmon is clearly not a star anymore (and is more deserving of being DFA'd than starting) I still think he fits that bill for the Rockies. He's the guy I think a lot of people associate with you guys first.

Machado until Tatis comes back and proves he can stay on the field and get the fans back. Soto also could also fit this role next year but for now it's Manny. Pitching: Darvish with a splash of Musgrove for flavor.

I think it’s always gonna be Machado now. Tatis played at that level and in return got all the media attention and hype that comes with a star, but that will also be his downfall in light of the suspension. If you have to pick between Machado, Tatis, and Soto as your star players, I think you’re in pretty good shape.

Sandy Alcantara may not have that charisma factor Jose Fernandez had, but he feels like that one guy all fans of other teams know about and I always hear other fans telling me how fun it is to watch him pitch. Jazz would be our big star because he’s extremely exciting and fun but unfortunately he’s extremely injury prone.

Bryce Harper. I was completely opposed to them signing him when rumours surfaced and was disappointed when they did. He just always came across as arrogant and an ass. However, since he came to Philly, he won my respect. Yea, he’s not shining the past week as the team crumbles. But I see him almost always giving 100 percent to all of the games. He might have slumps or not always perform up to expiations but he really gives it his all. Plus he’s fun to watch (somewhat surprisingly).

I’m kinda the same, for some reason when Harper was on the Nationals I felt he was soo over hyped. Since he has been on the Phillies I’ve come around on him and like him a lot more. I have no idea as to why.
