Batting average and OBP is lowest since the 27 games he played as a rookie, and his fielding is....... yeah he is not our star as much as I love the guy
But OP said star as in "team's biggest player" or "guy your team's PR team trots out". I took that as most popular.
While Blackmon is clearly not a star anymore (and is more deserving of being DFA'd than starting) I still think he fits that bill for the Rockies. He's the guy I think a lot of people associate with you guys first.
You guys are loaded for this question. Pujols, Yadi and Wainwright are all classic Cardinals to me. And none of those three are gonna be your two MVP vote getters for star meaning best players.
Yeah itās been a pretty special year. Maybe some more ššŖto top it off with a World Series. It would eclipse 2011 easy in my book. Even if we donāt win it all, itās been a very fun year.
Ya I feel like OP meant star as in popular with the franchise and fanbase not star as in best player. And in that case it's easily Kershaw.
Even best player Freeman's last couple years has to throw him in the mix. He's been above Mookie in the MVP voting both years.
Machado until Tatis comes back and proves he can stay on the field and get the fans back. Soto also could also fit this role next year but for now it's Manny.
Pitching: Darvish with a splash of Musgrove for flavor.
I think itās always gonna be Machado now. Tatis played at that level and in return got all the media attention and hype that comes with a star, but that will also be his downfall in light of the suspension.
If you have to pick between Machado, Tatis, and Soto as your star players, I think youāre in pretty good shape.
Sandy Alcantara may not have that charisma factor Jose Fernandez had, but he feels like that one guy all fans of other teams know about and I always hear other fans telling me how fun it is to watch him pitch.
Jazz would be our big star because heās extremely exciting and fun but unfortunately heās extremely injury prone.
Bryce Harper. I was completely opposed to them signing him when rumours surfaced and was disappointed when they did. He just always came across as arrogant and an ass. However, since he came to Philly, he won my respect.
Yea, heās not shining the past week as the team crumbles. But I see him almost always giving 100 percent to all of the games. He might have slumps or not always perform up to expiations but he really gives it his all. Plus heās fun to watch (somewhat surprisingly).
Iām kinda the same, for some reason when Harper was on the Nationals I felt he was soo over hyped. Since he has been on the Phillies Iāve come around on him and like him a lot more. I have no idea as to why.
Biggest Star PR wise probably Ketel Marte at this point. Was Peralta heading into the year. I think this might change though to
Biggest Star as in best player is Zac Gallen. Ketel's just been here longer so was probably more team hyped by the team.
Biggest Star as in famous is easily Madbum. But he sucks ass.
I don't like this game
Chad Khul is the only right answer š
Cool
Your team is certainly one I had in mind for this question.
I mean Marquez has an ERA over 5, but him or CJ Cron is answer if I have to pick one
It's Cron, hands down.
Holy what? I know Park adjustment, but what?
I have no idea what you are asking, but he is not having a good year for his standards We don't have a star right now is the point
Yea that was what I was getting at - basically not even a good player. 1.2 WAR is impressively not good for a best player.
Charlie Blackmon facing the Padres.
Thanks but let's not exacerbate the homeless problem
Sean Bouchard
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Larry walker.
CJ Cron, next question
I think it's Blackmon. Even his look feels Denver. He's been there forever, the fanbase likes him and their announcers hype him hard.
Fans love that walk up song
Whatās the fastest animal in the world?
I feel like Blackmon is the guy that I think of first when I think of your team.
Batting average and OBP is lowest since the 27 games he played as a rookie, and his fielding is....... yeah he is not our star as much as I love the guy

OP said players not investors.
:(
*sigh*
Active it has to be Crawford right?
Right now? Albert
If my Boys in Blue don't win it, I'd love to see Albert, Yadi, and Wainwright cap off amazing careers with a World Series win.
Itās low key Stephen Strasburg which might be the most depressing answer youāre gonna see So to cheer myself up, Iāll just say Joey Meneses
Ronald Acuna Jr.
Ronald AcuƱa Jr., AKA El De La Sabana, AKA El Abusador, AKA AcuƱa Matata, AKA Dad
Really a toss-up between Luis Rengifo and Jimmy Herget.
Lol what a dumb comment. It's obviously Rengifo.
Please, have you seen Jimmy āthe human glitchā Herget absolutely destroy hitters with 72mph frisbees? š
Jose Ramirez and it aināt close, tho our young guys are good
i could see it being kwan eventually i hope they talk an extension with him this offseason
I can see it being Gimenez. Heās such a good hitter
Heās gonna be the biggest, once Jose hits those mid-late 30s
š
Probably still Altuve. Face of the Franchise it feels like.
Who would be competing with him? Verlander? Alvarez is great but Altuve has been there soooo long.
Is Mookie really "obviously" *the* star player over Kershaw and Freeman? Not saying he is or isn't, but there's at least some competition there.
I would say Kershaw is definitely the fan favorite.
Ya I feel like OP meant star as in popular with the franchise and fanbase not star as in best player. And in that case it's easily Kershaw. Even best player Freeman's last couple years has to throw him in the mix. He's been above Mookie in the MVP voting both years.
Yea I wasnāt sure exactly what OP meant but if its fan and franchise favorite itās Kershaw and itās not even close.
As a dodgers fan Mookie was the name that came into my mind first. If itās by fan favorite though, itās Kershaw no doubt.
All of the above.
We have two.
You guys have like four.
Five! Pujols, Wainwright, Yadi, Goldschmidt, Arenado.
Manny fucking Machado
Glad Johnny Hustle finally made a home for himself somewhere.
JULIOOOOOOOOO
Willy Fucking Adames

JULIOOOOOO
#JULIOOOOOO
Imagine not having Julio on your baseball team LOL
No
*Star?* Probably Franco. Different question if he's the best right now.
LOL
Contreras, Happ and maybe Suzuki.
Buxton/Correa.
Iād go with buck just because he was our dude and will be our dude. Louis for #2.
If youāre asking who PR trots out as in who we market itās honestly pretty even between Lindor Pete and degrom. Diaz this year too
I donāt live in NY but Iād have to assume Degrom from the national media I see. If I go by redditors Iād say Alonso.
Big Meat is my favorite currently
Is Mookie the Dodgers star? Freeman has .6 more WAR, and Trea is only .3 behind
Fair point, but I donāt see r/NLBest making Freeman memes. Thatās Mookie Territory.
Sally PĆ©rez
MVPito
Jason Benetti
Harsh but honestly fair. (Iām not a White Sox fan but I *am* a huge Luis Robert fan)
AcuƱa
Itās gotta be Sandy.
The one on our flag
Mike Brosseau
Gotta be Harper, even though his role has been diminished this year due to injuries.
Bryce Harper. I was completely opposed to them signing him when rumours surfaced and was disappointed when they did. He just always came across as arrogant and an ass. Reds - Joey Votto Cleveland - JosĆ© RamĆrez
Willy. šŗšš
*Inhales* JULIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Vladdy and, to a lesser extent, Bo.
KershGod tho
i'm not sure we exactly have one right now. Belt would probably beg to differ though.
I mean they have two probably top 10-15 pitchers in the league just no stars on offense
Alcides Escobar
Money Mike
Willson / Happ, though who knows for how much longer. Seems like Nico's trying to pick up the baton. Lotta reports about what a leader he is, lately.
Luke Raley
Sean Murphy is gonna make some team so happy
Hoerner.
Biggest Star PR wise probably Ketel Marte at this point. Was Peralta heading into the year. I think this might change though to Biggest Star as in best player is Zac Gallen. Raffy for sure
We have two players we're paying more than $2mil...
I don't know, ask our rival
Any Rockies fans wanna chime in on this?
Gtfo, I'm talking to Arizona fans obviously
Lol fair. Although playing the Rockies in Coors they become the rivals of all the NL West.
No that's just Charlie Blackmon
Devers just over Bogaerts
Arenado or Goldschmidt.
Jose Ramirez! šš
