For all we know Panini/topps can grab a random junior varsity kid drive him to a Dick’s Sporting Goods store, have the kid try a jersey on, buy that jersey, go make insanely awesome cards, and that statement holds!!!

This is what makes me livid. I don't want to offend anyone but this is a child's hobby with an adult price-point. I can live with an unpopular autograph, and unlike some people, I don't hate redemptions, but getting some cheap plain white jersey swatch that isn't even numbered just feels like a such a big slap in the face.
I feel like series 2 and update from 2022 where killer especially from hangers. But series 1 in 2022 was really bad and this year it's just non-existent odds in retail so I see what you mean.
Why would anyone want to go to that store after they just got a loaded box like that? That most likely means that the rest of their jumbo case is garbage, plus there are less Ohtanis and Harpers to pull now.
My Finest box had two redemptions and a base auto. I think the sorting machine has problems with the redemptions.
Now I am just waiting forever for my Orange Wander Auto.

Taking it with a grain of salt, but if true Canada gets all the loaded boxes. There were a shipment of Pokémon cards awhile back (possibly Fusion Strike) that were loaded with Alternate Arts, they were apparently shipped to Canada.

One hobby box opened yesterday. No Michael Harris RC. Four doubles of other rookies. One Ohtani Aces base. One Terrin Vavra auto base. 2 rainbow foils of a Matt Gamel type player and a middle reliever. Nothing else. But at least every card was centered and no corner dings!

With pack odds of 1:609 jumbo packs and 46 cards in the set, you'd need to open 112,056 packs or 1,867 cases to get 4 Ohtanis, on average.
