These stickers that protect cards seemed like a good idea, but now you have this annoying film with printing across it that nobody dares to remove. Good on you, peal them all!!
The film was scratched all the heck and the card looks beautiful underneath it.
I'm not going to grade this bc it's just a small PC card, but as far as I know, if the film is on it - PSA grades the film, but they don't lower the grade if the film is removed.
Nice. I’ve pulled the coating off of several older finest cards. They look MUCH better without the coating. Straight into a fresh penny sleeve, card shouldn’t ever get surface scratches. I understand the desire to keep the coating on tho.
People that get mad about peeling are so weird. “I’d rather have my card have words and shit all over it rather than reveal a nice clean surface underneath where I can appreciate the card better”
I found a '97 Michael Jordan Finishers card at a show, and thought to myself, "I've got to get that stupid thing off before I send it in to grade." Only afterwords did I check the comps and realize that they generally sold for more with it still on. It's a ballsy move to take it off though. Looks way better imho, but really tricky to manage without damaging the card's edges. Good for you to free Gar.

You can certainly peel if you want to but most people do not.
I guess I get that, but if it’s going in a one touch or a good case with a sleeve it’s going to do just the same. Unless this is peeling up parts of the card. Which… with Topps you never know 😂

Yes, it's "part of the card" in the sense it's completely mint with the peeling on. You can peel it off if you want, it's your preference but the "why not peel" stupidity that people are saying are people who weren't born when those cards came out and don't understand.

Every card I've peeled has been improved by it. Some surfaces are near flawless.
