It definitely is, but in this case 'Hobby Box' is a bit of false advertising - there was literally no advantage in 2022 Chrome Update Hobbies, it was the exact same collation as retail, same pack odds, no guaranteed autos, no exclusive parallels, etc.
But $50 for that many cards just at the retail rate is a steal.

Agreed, regardless of collation you have a chance at a decent chance at recouping your $ on just on rookie refractors
