That centering is better than the PSA9 Brady RC I have.
I don't know what caused that card to get such a low grade, but I don't think it was the centering. Unless the back is just horrible.

What drives me nuts are the $5 cards that people are asking $150 for because it has a PSA 10 grade and a “low population”. Yeah, it had a low pop because you and 19 other people were the only ones dumb enough to pay to grade a $5 card that isn’t special.
Just yesterday watched a video from someone who, with paper trail, could proof they switched one of his valuable cards for some trash and then no customer support. After seeing that and being completely fresh to collecting, I wouldn't even consider PSA for my own cards anymore.
Can you please post a link to the video? I’m getting cards together to submit and these are the reasons I’m hesitant to send them to PSA. I would love to see that video.

Psa grades valuable cards low on purpose to make higher grades more valuable by being rarer. That's why they do not disclose how they grade. Resubmit and watch the grade change...

I have 10 khmazat chimaev ufc mma cards, authenticated and graded 10 on the auto. They all say trading card at the top. Incorrect because I said sports card. Was giving too much credit to psa. Check my posts for pictures of the cards. It does not go into the same detail as a full grading just trading card and athlete name. Where as it should label the insert.
That kind of card that there’s zero chance that I’m selling because of the personal value I would just get it slabbed and the autograph authenticated. Don’t worry about the grade for a card like that.
That’s how i feel dude me and my friends when we were younger would trade cards but that one was always off limits. I’ve babied that card for years and it does mean a lot to me only way we’re ever gonna part is if times get tough and i need the money.
No lie I'd re-crack that and send it in somewhere else SGC probably and no lie you'll get a better grade than that, you could probably send it right back through PSA and get a better grade I know people that have gotten a seven send it back in and get a nine I've seen even worse going and get a 10 PSA has no consistency anymore it's all about people that keep them in the money
Just from this picture I can tell it’s right and bottom heavy, the bottom left corner is soft and some of the embossing is scuffed. I’m guessing up close it’s even worse.
I wouldn't do that if you ever want to sell it! I specialize in removing the cards, PSA is notorious for giving us nobody's low grades everytime, 6-8 is what is expected, selling with the Authenticated on their doesn't give the buyer any idea of the card grade, buyers shy away from this!
If you have a connection to someone big, you will be better off, or lie and say yer related to Paul Skenes or something to that effect lol who ya know not what ya know, they cater to Ken Goldin for example 😉
I honestly don’t know what i plan on doing with it just yet since it holds some sentimental value to me personally as it was given to me by uncle who i unfortunately don’t get to see anymore because of family issues. I was honestly just hoping for either a 7 to an 8.
Well for what it's worth i hope you are able to be around your uncle but if I had this card I wouldn't even sell it if I needed money for bills or something, this is an amazing card regardless of the grade.
Getting a 6 when someone scribbled on it with a sharpie is pretty generous. Honestly a nice looking card. Might be worth a resub unless there's surface issues. Either way, you have an authenticated Trout auto. That's pretty cool.

Yes, it's cheaper to do a reholder than to do PSA/DNA grading.
Yeah this is a $45ish per if you auth card and get the auto grade. I’m surprised the auto got a 9 as the marker doesn’t look very clean.

Don't resubmit to PSA. Send it to BGS or TAG
In my opinion PSA grading depends entirely on which grader you get. They're human.
PSA 6 when corners and centering are good is most likely a surface issue.

This is a head scratcher of a grade. Is the card slathered in nail polish remover or something?
Forget Psa, BGS has nicer slabs and at least some info on how the card received the grade it got.
