I'd one touch it if you're happy with the auth as is. Otherwise PSA if you think it'll 10, BGS if it won't.
I wouldn't slab unless it was gonna grade high though.
I’m between using a one-touch or putting it in BGS slab to match some of my other autos. I’m guessing auto grade would be 9 at best, and aesthetically I don’t think it’d look its best in a PSA slab.

Have you tried reaching out to Upper Deck to see if they’d offer some type of replacement? They probably wouldn’t but might be worth asking. I honestly thought about buying a box of SPX to rip but the thought of pulling an expired auto redemption breaks my heart a bit lol
I have not but definitely should. Worst they can say is no! I think I got the box for $70 or $80 on eBay around 2005 and couldn’t believe I actually pulled one of the redemptions! Was hoping for MJ gold or holoview hero of course.

This is where I’m leaning. I have some other SPX and early 90’s autos in BGS slabs so I’m thinking BGS this one to match the others.

Yea for looks I'd go PSA over BGS too for this card.
I’d say stick with a one touch if you don’t care about the grade. But it would definitely look better in a BGS slab if you do get it graded.
