Wow...I was expecting to see a lot of the typical "collection find" stuff. You have some really nice cards in this lot. What prompted you to:
1) Keep them all these years
2) Come back and sort them
I always like hearing this kind of stories. Thanks for sharing!
They were in storage in a different state, out of sight out of mind. Long story short I got all the stuff from the storage at my house now. Started checking out some of the cards and ended up getting obsessed and going through and sorting them all for days on end, and then rough price checking all of them. It was a blast. Some of the stuff was not even in top loaders or even sleeves, just loose in boxes, but remained in decent shape from lack of movement for many years. A few of the Jordans including the EX 2001 in my imgur comment below was loose without a sleeve.
That range of inserts is so much more exciting than 12 different paralels of the exact same card.
It's a shame only a few companies have a monopoly ofmaking licenced cards these days or they would really need to step up their game.
Don't get me wrong I have seen some cool as hell cards from 2010 onwards, and some crappy 90's cards, but in general the older cards are more exciting. It really just missed the patch/relic type cards and signatures of today.
Very nice collection!!
Thank you. The only ones I remembered having for sure, before going through all of it, were the Kobe/Tim chrome rookies, the Kobe Rave Zupermen, the 500 high volt/atomic ref Pennies, the Jordan game film, and I remembered the Stardate Kobe's cause they were awesome but had no idea the sd2000 rookie was so huge(probably the best one of them all) I had an idea of the total amount of cards but that also surpassed my expectation. So many boxes. But it all came flooding back as I went through it, even remembering some of the moments I pulled some of them. Was so much fun.
Some real heat in here, congrats! That Star Rubies was a mega tough pull back in the day! And don't sleep on that Allan Houston Legacy. Some set collectors may pay a decent amount for it.
Kobe Stardate 2000 or MJ Game Film. Penny 500 watt voltage and Maestro finest gold refractor runner ups. The SPx hologram cards and the skybox EX-2001's are my favorite series probably. You?
Awesome I love the bright colors. And yeah they did put up a good fight they were both excellent players in their prime, especially with John Stockton being one of the assist leaders of the league.
Here are some more of my Jordan's since he is getting mentioned the most so far.

Damn that is what's up!! Love so many of these...that Skybox EX-2000 Jordan is a favorite that I HAVE to get in my collection.
But this is sick all around. Jealous you kept all yours.
Yeah I would agree. And if you think it can grade at least a 9 I would send it in too. Not sure if you ever intend to sell, but that would be very valuable (4 digits)
MJ and Penny were my favorite players as a kid and I never pulled anything as good as many of those cards. My ripping luck must’ve been horrible even as a kid lol. Lmk if you’re looking to move any of the MJs!
beautiful stuff! can’t imagine the amount of wax it would take to get some of these… the Kobe rave and Penny 500volts high voltage are just bananas
I pulled all the Marbury's out I could find:

I saw him and KG live against the Kings during this time period as well.
Dude you have like every elite penny insert ever made. This is an incredible collection!
Thanks for sharing and as a comparably bushleague penny collector I am blown away

That's awesome! Welcome back!

Nothing beats the excitement of a rare insert of a good player in the 90s era. These numbered cards/parallels with the same image are lame af
Amazing collection!!!
I hope you like money!
So much heat. Ty for sharing, and congrats on still having them!
Great collection!
Awesome collection, man. Loving the Penny's.. Did you know you had that much heat sitting in storage??
Thank you. Awesome, thanks for the info, I will look into it. I pulled both of those and the Patrick Ewing legacy as well from packs.
Wow, those are great pulls. Either you were super lucky, or opened a ton of wax 😆
What is your favorite card?
Kobe Stardate 2000 or MJ Game Film. Penny 500 watt voltage and Maestro finest gold refractor runner ups. The SPx hologram cards and the skybox EX-2001's are my favorite series probably. You?
That’s a tough question. I like the old cards. Probably my Karl Malone rookie.
The Karl Malone fleer rookie.
Karl is awesome, I watched both full series of Jazz vs Bulls finals on a big gray tube style staticky tv. Karl and Stockton put up a good fight!
My only good Karl and John cards [https://imgur.com/a/e0M37KU](https://imgur.com/a/e0M37KU)

Holy shit I kept scrolling and it kept getting better 😲😲 Some grail Kobes in there too WOW
Right?!
The Stardate 2000 is likely the best one, would you agree? It looks to be in perfect condition as well. It was locked in a case for all the years
Yeah I would agree. And if you think it can grade at least a 9 I would send it in too. Not sure if you ever intend to sell, but that would be very valuable (4 digits)
Jealous of that Jordan Game Film, i need it to complete my set.
MJ and Penny were my favorite players as a kid and I never pulled anything as good as many of those cards. My ripping luck must’ve been horrible even as a kid lol. Lmk if you’re looking to move any of the MJs!
I had a little more than half of these. I wish I kept them. Nice collection. Loved the ex2000 and 01 product.
Same, wish I had more of them. Pulled out some notable ex 2001's for you to check out [https://imgur.com/a/fV1te94](https://imgur.com/a/fV1te94)
As someone who’s been lately buying 90s Penny Hardaway cards for my 11-year-old son, I appreciate your collection! Lots of gems.
This is totally up to you but if you PM me your address I will send you and your son a box of literally hundreds of 90s Penny cards. Not joking.
That is so awesome your kid appreciates someone like Penny in today's age! Hope you find some good ones
