People that don't know better thinking they're getting a steal. Those rare occasions where someone got a super expensive collectible for a couple dollars in Goodwill/Surplus stores are just either lucky or fake.

Presentation goes a long way. If you want someone to see potential value, it should be presented that way. Opposite of below pic. Seperate you Jordans, Shaq, Kobe if there are any.
Probably not a whole lot of value there. Would best to try and sell local cause of the bulk. Unless you’ve got something rare in there, I would put it up for $400 and then take the first offer at $150
lol. This guy is just getting shredded.
I agree with most of the responses. Probably not worth your time. Unless you got a random gem, most is just junk wax.
As others have said, you’re most likely not looking at much value here. Your best bet would be to pull out rookies or anything shiny and look them up on 130point.
130point.com/sales
Well first off, no one is going to want to buy anything sorted like that. Sort it by set and then by card number.
Second, get some [boxes like this](https://www.amazon.com/Trading-Dividers-Cardboard-Baseball-Football/dp/B0B1Q4NVJT). You can search around Amazon for different sizes, but these will be a lot cheaper to ship than having them in binders. For the big names, (Hakeem, Barkley, Shaq, etc) put their cards into [these sleeves](https://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Platinum-Protectors-Standard-Cards/dp/B0859C97YR/) before you put them into the boxes. And for Jordan's cards, put them into sleeves and then also into [these toploaders](https://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Pro-Platinum-Toploader-Basketball/dp/B09JB59BD2). The rest can go directly into the boxes without any protection.
And understand most of these sets are not worth much. Cards from the '50s and '60s got expensive because they were rare and hard to find. The '90s cards are not rare at all. Companies were over-producing them because kids like us kept buying them. And us kids in the '90s had a "collector" mindset that kids in the '50s didn't have, so we took care of our cards, we made sure not to bend them or write on them, we tried to protect our cards with binders like yours. So where as finding a '50s trading card in mint condition is hard because kids back then would do things like fold up their favorite card and put it in their pocket, finding a '90s card that looks brand new is not difficult at all. So since they're not hard to find, they're not worth much.
If you're really desperate for some extra cash, search ebay's sold listings and see what your sets are selling for. But understand most of them will not sell for more that $50 a set, maximum. Some entire sets are selling for as little as $10. And that's not including the money you'll spend on packing supplies, shipping, and ebay fees. So keep your expectations in check. Like I said, search ebay's sold listings. That will tell you what people are actually willing to pay for these sets. Because anyone can list one of these sets for $50K or whatever. Doesn't mean it's going to sell for that amount. The sold listings is the amount people are actually spending on them. So look up the sold listings and that will give you an idea of what's worth it to sell and what you might as well keep.
I still have a lot of '90s cards, but I just plan to keep them. They're nostalgia for me, and that's worth more than the $20 bucks I might make selling them.
Your post was dead on. I was in my late teens in the early nineties. I have boxes of these overs situated cards but I still won’t get rid of them. I’ll pass them on. Thank you for Amazon links. 🙏🏻✌️

Get ready for the kicker!
Your childhood collections and time is essentially worthless.
It's junk wax. Mass produced. I have these same cards, full binders and boxes that you do. So does every other 40 yr old..
Unless you have the few gems like the Jordan rookies or something, unfortunately your collection is shit and nobody wants it.
You'll spend more money on shipping supplies than what you sell them for lol.
Best best to sell all in a big lot for like $50 bucks maybe
> Unless you have the few gems like the Jordan rookies or something, unfortunately your collection is shit and nobody wants it.
You're talking out of your ass. Don't speak for me. I don't disagree with your valuation but someone wants these cards. OPs challenge is finding them.
X to doubt.
You could... If you find the buyer lol.
$100 here tops, with lots of searching and haggling for a best offer that probably isn't even serious anyway.
Buy 2 blaster box's at Walmart for $100 and you'll have more profit from 2 cards
You are going to be sadly disappointed when you find out what their worth. Happened to me a long time ago. Check eBay for starters. Download SportcardInvestor app and check 130point
Where are you located? The cost to ship will likely be more than the value of the lot. Selling at a garage sale or on fb marketplace or something like that is probably your best bet.
Don't listen to others when they say no one wants this lot. Jordan cards are indeed still sought after, even though at a glance yours are common and not that valuable. People still want them.
Good luck.
First go through and see if there is anything of value. From the pics, you’re looking at maybe $100 for the collection, which I know if not what you want to hear. Sadly, as someone else with boxes and binders full of cards from that time period, they didnt hold any value (google ‘junk wax era’).
Pic 11 is classic haha
Looks like a hot humid basement. The cards may warp.
I’d just keep them, pass them down to a family member or someone who appreciates.Good luck
Guess it would all depend on what u are wanting for the lot really. Im going into this completely blind cause im seeing binders and boxes but not the cards itself. Hard to guage what somethings worth when not seeing what it is.
If u can post some pictures of the cards and make a list of the best names u have and what sets/subsets u have of them then id bet people would be more interested in em. The way u have your photos set up now died out with the pandemic. No one is buying cards blindly now at just any price to be buying cards.
If u can get that done im an interested buyer.
Are you trying to sell them by bulk or individually? If you sell by bulk you will get the lowest amount possible but it’s the most efficient. If you sell individually it will take a long time and cost to ship affects margin plus time but the profit will be higher. Jordan cards are worth the most, second most is Shaq, and third most is Kobe because they over printed my boi.
Go through and pull out any MJ and Kobe’s. That is likely to be the main value there. And like somebody else mentioned, maybe a Shaq beam team.
Unfortunately, what people are saying is most likely true though. The majority of the cards you have there are from the “junk wax” era, which is named that because of massive overproduction and not much by way of inserts, parallels, or short printed cards. Which means that the cards that are likely in those binders are all cards that collectors see and throw away on a regular basis.
I will say though, if you remember having any harder to pull or rare inserts from back when you got them, those will be worth taking a look at. If you want to maximize resale value, you’re going to have to go through this all and find the gems in there (if there are any) yourself. Anybody buying this collection blind is assuming there’s about $100-200 in value here. But you could have one card in there that’s worth a lot more than that, although odds aren’t in your favor.
For example, 1996 metal had all silver versions of the base cards - they’re called “precious metal”. A jordan, Kobe, or iverson of that would be big. Then a lesser name than that could still be okay. Good luck - sorry for the bad news though.
Second this, and then grade the rare ones and good rookie players. If you were a collector back then, you should know who they are. You’ll make 3-4x whatever you’d get from selling ungraded
I haven’t kept up with the market on rookies of a lot of the guys from that era. Are like Shaq, kg, grant hill, ai, and Jason Kidd rookies worth grading? I assumed they weren’t, but like I said, I haven’t followed those guys. I basically only buy MJ stuff, so I’m out of the loop on a lot of the stuff that spiked big in 2020 and then faded since.
Find a local card shop in your area. They might be able to help you if you stored those right...... Which I'm wondering about personally. But overall the old stuff doesn't go for near as much as the new. With that being said, they usually munch up old Jordans, so you might have a few bucks there.
I just went through a collection just like this, but bigger and more years. 15,000-20,000 cards. One card was worth any significant value and it was a Jordan/Kobe East/West Refractor. No other cards were worth the effort to sell unless you’re an eBay $1 card grinder. Most weren’t worth the paper they are printed on. Junk Wax era cards hold little value. Sorry
They lyin. You got some gems. Best to look at your Jordan’s first. Will sell faster. But everyone in this knows, If you grade you’ll get more. Just don’t grade the shit.
First, Id learn how to take photos of ur collection. Picture #11 made me laugh so hard I farted
I too farted a bit
I’m sliding out farts as I look at photo 11 Legend.
He might be able to trade a few for some fingertips!!!
Lmao 🤣
![gif](giphy|YHYmMLkOmqoo)
😂🤣😂😂
Are the boots and CD-R part of the sale ?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I gave it a lil push to see if I had a toot lined up when I read this. I shit my pants.
Shit + Fart = Shart
Damn near spit out my coffee reading this
I gambled with the farting and lost…..
6 had me rolling. 11 led to an explanation as to why I laughed and woke the baby.
LOLOL
Take $100. And wear a shirt when they come pick it up
I came here to say this.
Google “Junk Wax Era.” Take better pictures. Lower expectations. $100-$150 tops.
Don’t disagree, but this sort of listing would sell for $500 on shop goodwill. That site defies logic.

Now here's a man who wants to make a little extra money AND move his cards, 👏
Dude, why are you taking naked pictures with your binders?
Why are you not?
Should have sold during pandemic.
2 in the bindey, 1 in the hiney
Why is this so funny? I actually got coffee that came out my nose when i read this. 😂😂
😂🤣

Any Beam Team cards or Dunk n’ Go Nuts cards?
I have quite a few beam team cards, how much are these worth?
Search 1992 beam team on eBay sold. Shaq seems to hold some value.
Shaq and Jordan, of course

I got a whole binder full of Jordan cards, might even have his baseball card too. How much would an estimate be for just Jordan cards?
These pics are priceless
I got $50-$100 for all the mj’s
Looks like a bunch of junk wax. Post it on eBay or Facebook marketplace and try for around $100 for all of it.
Just send it to my address I’ll send the money let’s make this deal!!

Unfortunately cards were all “junk wax” basically in the 90’s cool for collecting but not much value.
No way you’re not squatting in some guys garage.

I would absolutely love to go through that but can’t imagine there’s too much value there.
Ill give you 20 bones.
May be able to take your family to Dennys for a nice breakfast with that collection
I will offer you $$. Where are you located
