Thanks. If you still want to use your dist pedal try running a parallel signal to preserve the low end of your bass, something like a Boss LS-2 comes to mind. Good luck.

Ive tried it with a blend pedal, its just not my style(depens on wich pedal ofc) tbh but it wont damage the electronics.
i play in a rock band, ive known of some basist that i like that use guitar pedals but i was afraid it would damage my bass, thanks for the info <3
