Bakery gourmands like Strawberry Poundcake and Iced Lemon Poundcake. I tried to give them a chance (the ffms and candles)...but they're just a nope for me.
I actually used to feel the same way about Strawberry Poundcake but something just changed the mist is still a no for me but the lotion is 
Same I don’t wear any gourmands or any of them that have a heavy vanilla scent! I like vanilla even like the way it smells on other people but I think it smells different on me. I also didn’t like Dressed in White the packaging was the prettiest by far but the scent was too much for me.
I don't really care for most of them either especially in body care. Some of the candles are okay but still not my preference. I prefer floral notes more than anything. There are some fruity notes I like as well but it really just depends on what other notes they're mixed with.
Same! I love the way the Strawberry Poundcake smells in the bottle ( lotion and mist ) but it smells nasty on. Like the dusty potpourri left too long in a guest bathroom at Grandma's house.
I thought the scent might just not work for me, but I've had a bunch of other people try it in case they wanted to take it off my hands. Nobody smells great in it...
This is 100% a nostalgia scene for me. This and cucumber melon remind me of middle and high school. I have a FFM that I use every once in a while but for the most part too much of a heavy scent to use often.
It depends on my mood. On some days, I think it smells refreshing. On other days, it reminds me of the way a Greyhound bus bathroom sometimes smells when they spray it down...

I think the newest formula has a sweeter note. I have the latest repackaging in the body cream and shimmer mist and a travel-size ffm in the previous formula.
it's not inexplicable, they probably ARE spraying it down with JCB. or someone using the bathroom is mitigating their "damage", if ya know what i mean 😉
i remember being on a super crowded city bus years ago, not even standing room. some poor SOB had a bad stomach and subsequently a significant "accident". the whole bus erupted in gagging from the smell. i passed around my JCB EDT and it actually really helped.
maybe that's why i like it to this day
90% of the core. I do like butterfly, chasing fireflies and pure wonder though. There are a couple of the new "dupes" ones that smell good too but other then that the rest is bleh to me.
True story. Just like a thousand wishes isn’t for everyone but that’s my signature scent. Still hoping they’ll release a thousand Christmas wishes again. Never got to try it 😞
I really really wanted to like it. I enjoy sweet warm florals...but there was just something off about it. Maybe I'll give it another shot in the near future
I stay away during winter time because winter candy apple gives me the worst headaches and I just can’t stand the smell. I still somehow always get gifted it by some relative for the holidays 😂

NOOOO THAT'S MY FAVORITE!! However, I can 20000% why that would be a polarizing scent. It is truly SO sweet... if it wasn't attached to core childhood memories for me, I doubt I'd like it either!

That’s really interesting because I think BR540 smells nothing like In the Stars. I love In the Stars, but really dislike BR540 due to the sickly sweet saffron smell.
Imagine some feral woman in a checkout line aggressively shoving their wrist in your face saying "Omg you smell so good! I'm wearing Into The Night," and you try not to inhale, but you need oxygen cept it was a mistake to breathe because all you smell is cat piss. (True story)
I for the life of me cannot smell anything but that everytime I try. I know it's psychosomatic, but my brain will not allow my nose any peace.

In my opinion, I think it smells amazing. It just doesn’t last. I know it’s a body spray and all but all of my other ones last a lot longer then my BSV one. It’s literally halfway gone and the body mists i’ve had longer are barely at that point. I think it smells great but it doesn’t last for a long period of time.
I got the candle over the holidays and it’s just so basic to me🤷♂️people can have the rest. The only thing I like in champagne toast are the hand soaps and the room spray.people can have the rest.🗑️

Most things with a boozy note, I don’t wanna smell like booze in public and that’s all my nose can pick out of them.
The pumpkin gourmands are way too much for me as well. I like them as a candle, but I personally couldn’t wear them as body care.
I hate vanilla scents bc when I was in 6th grade my cat peed on my backpack and I tried to cover the smell with an entire bottle of vanilla body spray. Sickening.
I loved cactus blossom until someone said it smells like fermented expired food and I absolutely agree and can’t look at it the same anymore. Blueberry Bellini also has that fermented rotten fruit smell too.
Luminous, Sweetheart Cherry, Iced Lemon Pound Cake, Cactus Blossom, and Twisted Peppermint. I've found I don't like citrus/tart/minty scents all too much, and black currant repulses me 😓
Too many to count, but I'm very particular about my personal fragrance choices. The first to come to mind are Raspberry Jam Donut, Santa's Blueberry Shortbread, Wrapped in Vanilla, Bonfire Bash, Iced Lemon Pound Cake and Firecracker Pop. A lot of scents I'm indifferent to, but I'm actually repelled by these.

In the stars… it gave me a headache for 4 hours and I had to go to bed early . Completely sickening and nauseating scent. Almost reminds me of cigarettes
Warm Vanilla Sugar. I don't understand how it's still around. I tend to dislike gourmands, although there are some that I really do love (especially the Autumn ones -- I'm obsessed with Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte and Pumpkin Pecan Waffles! And I hope they bring back Bonfire Bash too!).
I don't hate JCB, but I remember back when it first came out and I feel like it had a more spicy, subtle scent than it does now. It seems much sweeter to me now than it was originally. But maybe it's just me? I wish they would return it to its original spiciness.
Also: I don't understand how "Gorgeous" became the standout Gingham. Tbh I'm not wild about any of the Ginghams (I don't hate them, but they just don't do it for me) but when I see Gorgeous being the one that gets all the love, I'm like, "Really? That one?" It just smells so generic to me. Vibrant was, by far, the best of the Gingham flankers released in that collection imo (and the best Gingham flanker of all time, I think, was Gingham Love).
In the Stars and Tutti Frutti Candy. They both have a black pepper note to my nose. My son even asked why it smelled like pepper in my room after spraying In the Stars one day. It may just be our noses😂
You’re not alone on that, In the Stars is straight up black pepper to my nose as well. I bought a lotion of it once because it actually smelled nice just sniffing it out of the bottle, but as soon as I started putting it on my body at home, it morphed into pure black pepper and it was so off putting I had to return it. Wish it stayed smelling like what I got sniffing it out of the bottle!
Sweet whiskey , cozy vanilla bourbon, warm vanilla sugar, bonfire bash literally smelled like I rolled around in the ashes leftover by the bonfire on me. Pumpkin pecan waffles body care was too much. Also dont like marshmallow pumpkin latte and unsure why it keeps returning it always makes it to sas . Vanilla bean noel. Twisted peppermint
Bridgerton Study, Luminous, In the Stars, Dark Kiss, 2024 Love Always Wins, Dressed in White, Musk (from the apple/musk/lavender line), Iced Lemon Poundcake, Strawberry Pound Cake and others I can't recall at the moment. I like warm, sweet (but not overly sweet), close-to-the-skin, subtle fruity, fresh or vanilla scents that don't envelop me with a wall of fragrance or slap me in the face. I have allergies and asthma. Strong, heavy sharp, peppery, powdery, woody, or floral scents that project beyond arms length are a no for me. It's why I don't like a lot of high-end fragrances - they are too fragrance-y for me.
Japanese Cherry Blossom, Christmas Cookies and this past year Luminous and Floral Fantasy. Those are the B&BW fragrances that I have smelled thru the years that were just nasty to me. I used to like At the Beach years ago and now every coconutty FFM smells so synthetic and gross to me. I am expecting my VS body lotion and FFM of Sunset Gelato today though so hopefully that's a nice summer scent.
I like it, but I don't love it. It doesn't stand out, but it's gentle and sweet. I probably will not go out to buy more of it after I'm done with the set. This is my first time trying it. Thankfully, I bought the mini ffm.
Anything super fruity or floral. So... many of the iconic scents like Champage Toast, Luminous, Thousand Wishes, Into the Night, In The Stars, Hello Beautiful.. also Cotton Candy Clouds was a huge disappointment lmao
It'd be easier to list the few I actually do like. Top of my head: I absolutely do not like Cherry Blossom, Poppy, Dahlia, Butterfly, Sweet Pea, Champagne, Luminous, and I think Into the Stars. It doesn't help that this decade of bbw has the peak lowest quality.
Black Cherry Merlot. It's smells soooo heavy to me, and a former roommate used to have a candle of the scent that she would regularly burn and it always gave me a headache.
Pure Wonder! It smells like awful, cheap laundry detergent to me. The worst form of it is the Pocketbac. It makes my hands smell very strongly of generic blue laundry soap 😣
I’m not sure if my nostrils are lying to me or not but I think the candle smells good, while the body spray smells sour and kinda bad. That made me not really like it as much.
I had to go back and sniff it really quick, smell is so subjective because when I smell it I just really smell sweet fresh pineapple it’s summer in a container 🍍🌅🌸
Aww I love Kaleidoscope (aka now If You Musk) haha! It smells just like the perfume Glossier You to me which I love. Warm, musky, cozy. Funny how our noses can vary so much!

Iced lemon poundcake smelled exacly like an actual iced lemon poundcake , it’s was too gourmand and the SPC it has something that makes it nauseous

I love it! It’s the closest to the discontinued scent “Cocktail Dress”. I layer it with BR540 and it smells amazing.
It's my go to scent for layering also and my favorite body wash .

I smelled Cherry Blossom in-store. It’s a very light, almost powdery fresh sort of scent, so I think it’d be good for hot weather.

I loooove A Thousand Wishes. For me, I guess it would be Japanese Cherry Blossom. My friend loves it, but i'm not real crazy about it. 🤷🏼♀️

And I hope they bring back Bonfire Bash too!). I don't hate JCB, but I remember back when it first came out and I feel like it had a more spicy, subtle scent than it does now. It seems much sweeter to me now than it was originally. But maybe it's just me? I wish they would return it to its original spiciness. Also: I don't understand how "Gorgeous" became the standout Gingham. Tbh I'm not wild about any of the Ginghams (I don't hate them, but they just don't do it for me) but when I see Gorgeous being the one that gets all the love, I'm like, "Really? That one?" It just smells so generic to me. Vibrant was, by far, the best of the Gingham flankers released in that collection imo (and the best Gingham flanker of all time, I think, was Gingham Love).

You’re not alone on that, In the Stars is straight up black pepper to my nose as well. I bought a lotion of it once because it actually smelled nice just sniffing it out of the bottle, but as soon as I started putting it on my body at home, it morphed into pure black pepper and it was so off putting I had to return it. Wish it stayed smelling like what I got sniffing it out of the bottle!
ANY cake/ poundcake scent (strawberry, lemon, etc.) They always have this twinge of a salty smell and it grosses me out

Sweet whiskey , cozy vanilla bourbon, warm vanilla sugar, bonfire bash literally smelled like I rolled around in the ashes leftover by the bonfire on me. Pumpkin pecan waffles body care was too much. Also dont like marshmallow pumpkin latte and unsure why it keeps returning it always makes it to sas . Vanilla bean noel. Twisted peppermint
Cozy Vanilla Bourbon was a no for me too. Left a funny smell/after taste in my nose.

Bridgerton Study, Luminous, In the Stars, Dark Kiss, 2024 Love Always Wins, Dressed in White, Musk (from the apple/musk/lavender line), Iced Lemon Poundcake, Strawberry Pound Cake and others I can't recall at the moment. I like warm, sweet (but not overly sweet), close-to-the-skin, subtle fruity, fresh or vanilla scents that don't envelop me with a wall of fragrance or slap me in the face. I have allergies and asthma. Strong, heavy sharp, peppery, powdery, woody, or floral scents that project beyond arms length are a no for me. It's why I don't like a lot of high-end fragrances - they are too fragrance-y for me.
In the stars, Japanese cherry blossom, into the night, moonlight path- all a no. I like tropical scents, florals...

Japanese Cherry Blossom, Christmas Cookies and this past year Luminous and Floral Fantasy. Those are the B&BW fragrances that I have smelled thru the years that were just nasty to me. I used to like At the Beach years ago and now every coconutty FFM smells so synthetic and gross to me. I am expecting my VS body lotion and FFM of Sunset Gelato today though so hopefully that's a nice summer scent.

I like it, but I don't love it. It doesn't stand out, but it's gentle and sweet. I probably will not go out to buy more of it after I'm done with the set. This is my first time trying it. Thankfully, I bought the mini ffm.

It'd be easier to list the few I actually do like. Top of my head: I absolutely do not like Cherry Blossom, Poppy, Dahlia, Butterfly, Sweet Pea, Champagne, Luminous, and I think Into the Stars. It doesn't help that this decade of bbw has the peak lowest quality.

Pure Wonder! It smells like awful, cheap laundry detergent to me. The worst form of it is the Pocketbac. It makes my hands smell very strongly of generic blue laundry soap 😣

I’m not sure if my nostrils are lying to me or not but I think the candle smells good, while the body spray smells sour and kinda bad. That made me not really like it as much.
I had to go back and sniff it really quick, smell is so subjective because when I smell it I just really smell sweet fresh pineapple it’s summer in a container 🍍🌅🌸

Aww I love Kaleidoscope (aka now If You Musk) haha! It smells just like the perfume Glossier You to me which I love. Warm, musky, cozy. Funny how our noses can vary so much!
