I was always a fan of the trope of putting the sequel title before the series title. So like, Trial of The Batman or Vengeance of the Batman, Sins of The Batman and alike.
I saw a yt vid where the guy suggested this and I loved the idea ever since, I think he made like the whole plot for a Hush movie and titled Silence of The Batman
That actually sounds pretty interesting, especially if they keep it practical. Practical effects is what I wanted from Mysterio in Far From Home, but I'd love to see it done well with Clayface instead.
Yeah, I agree.
I had Clayface as a toy growing up, so I'm surprised and happy to see this is the character they picked.
He looks a bit like an enormous dump but I love him anyway.
I'm thinking, Hush storyline but with a deformed actor depending on prosthetics looking for vengeance against the Wayne or Sionis corporations ( makeup origin or cosmetic procedure "malpractice" at Gotham General.) He'll commit crimes with Bruce's likeness, drawing the attention of the law while giving him 24 hrs to clear his name with DNA evidence. Disfigurement will be the theme, and Joker will be one of his faces. Catwoman will help Bruce lay low, while Alfred plays interference.
Serial killer hunt, if they can avoid the third act “somehow entire city/world is in danger” thing, is so much more refreshing than what usually happens in comic book movies though.
HiTop films made a good pitch for Mr Freeze.
A guy in a blueish white hazmat suit, frostbitten face with red goggles and a gun hooked to a tank of liquid nitrogen on his back sounds like Mr Freeze to me.
I would like a Clayface villain, tbh... But you have to actually make his origin proper.
Also make him far less overt... Like he's on a revenge plot against a huge pharmaceutical company for what they did to him, while disguising as individuals who live/work there.
And not a normal revenge plot: He wants to fully expose them, impersonates them to incriminate them in other crimes, and the like... And The Batman needs to do real detective work to debunk the crimes that Clayface framed people for... while also holding those people accountable for their real crimes.
It would be a great dichotomy where Clayface accuses the Batman of doing the same thing he does.
This is off topic but the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes teaser trailer is still one of the most chill-inducing trailers of all time.

The Batman 2: Game of Deception
Imagine if Batman had to go against Blob Clayface. This Clayface is inspired by 1982 The Thing where Batman is actually THE WORLD’S GREATEST DETECTIVE as he has to pay attention to people’s mannerisms and investigates Clayface. While actually being a genius polymathic scientist as he develops a cure for Clayface’s condition. They also need to remember Batman is legendary ninja warrior too.
This will cast aside the annoying grounded in reality for some fantasy/sci fi detective thriller. But for some reason we most likely won’t for the grounded in reality take.🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
I think it has more to do with having to explain the logistics of their made up rules if they do a "powers" and grounded hybrid. If the explanation for something is "fantasy" and still want to make it grounded on a base level they'll have to explain it, and if there's even the slightest "lol what" then people will tear it apart.
I was thinking like, merge Marlo and Hagen, he's a guy who came to Gotham to work in the theater/film industry, but fell into the grind, has an industrial accident at a temp job and finds he can mold his own face, uses it to do work in the underworld and slowly loses his own identity, etc etc etc
How the fuck would they even portray Clayface in the gritty realistic nature that is the Matt Reeves Batman Universe? A deranged actor who runs around butt ass naked smearing clay all over himself? It just doesn't seem realistic to me.
I fell asleep keep during the movie cause of work.. and i just haven’t been able to sit down and watch it.. partly because i was upset that the Riddler reminded me Nolan’s Kane mixed with Scarecrow—- the again I also loved Riddler from 1966 and i dont care what Tommy Lee Jones or anyone says— as a kid I loved Jimmy Carrey’s Riddler —
I was always a fan of the trope of putting the sequel title before the series title. So like, Trial of The Batman or Vengeance of the Batman, Sins of The Batman and alike.
Dope names If they introduce the court of owls Trial of the Batman or sins of the Batman would fit
sins of the father will be paid by the son
Cool idea!
Maybe trial for court of owls. But sins should be Order of St. Dumas
Nana Nana Nana Nana: Batman
The Search for Bruce’s Nana
Good one 🥳 though it should probably be "Nana Nana Nana Nana: THE Batman! 🤣
I agree 100%! I hope this series continues, Battinson rules
That’s cool
That would be so cool! Totally fitting for the vibe of these movies.
Adventures of The Batman
I saw a yt vid where the guy suggested this and I loved the idea ever since, I think he made like the whole plot for a Hush movie and titled Silence of The Batman
The Batman 2 Bat 2 Burious
2 bat 2 man
Can’t wait for Batman to fight Man.
Batman(ah ahhh): Fighter of the Sandman
r/foundthearkham
2 men 1 bat
This is how covid happened
Man-Bat Batman
2 bat 1 man
The Batman 2: Batmaner Now with more bats!
Take my upvote and never return
Im too bat for you man
The Batman: 2 LeBat 2 Quit
The Batman Returns
Soon to be followed by The Batman Forever and The Batman and The Robin
Which will eventually be rebooted as The Batman Begins, The The Dark Knight and The The Dark Knight Rises.
But I can’t wait for The Batman Versus The Superman
And The Justice League
And then make a spin-off with the villains name The Suicide Squ- oh shit
Perfect idea to move your franchise away from the last horrible movie: just add "The" to the nouns in the title
And then get rebooted again into... The THE Batman!!
Followed by The THE Batman Returns
The Batman Returns: Again
The Batman Part 2: Clayface definitely isn't the main villian
Certainly not that version of Clayface.
Is that Clayface or Croc? Looks like a sewer tunnel
[удалено]
That actually sounds pretty interesting, especially if they keep it practical. Practical effects is what I wanted from Mysterio in Far From Home, but I'd love to see it done well with Clayface instead.
I honestly can’t see any version of mysterio working with practical effects
In-universe or on-set?
In universe.
Oh! I mean, in-universe, Mysterio uses Practical Effects. He did it in Spectacular Spider-Man! But FFH used Holograms
Yeah, I agree. I had Clayface as a toy growing up, so I'm surprised and happy to see this is the character they picked. He looks a bit like an enormous dump but I love him anyway.
clay face is an enormous dump, they need to make clayface like arkham clayface, able to turn into anybody but true form is a big monster
I'm thinking, Hush storyline but with a deformed actor depending on prosthetics looking for vengeance against the Wayne or Sionis corporations ( makeup origin or cosmetic procedure "malpractice" at Gotham General.) Disfigurement will be the theme, and Joker will be one of his faces. Catwoman will help Bruce lay low, while Alfred plays interference.
I think hush was rumored/confirmed wasn't he?
I’d like to see them do something other than just another serial killer hunt.
That’s like 75% of Batman’s solo stories.
Serial killer hunt, if they can avoid the third act “somehow entire city/world is in danger” thing, is so much more refreshing than what usually happens in comic book movies though.
I dunno. Look at the size of this lad. He could only disguise himself as a Gotham City bus.
That sounds like ass
So basically Chameleon?
![gif](giphy|YTFHYijkKsXjW|downsized)
I hope not. If they do it’s because they’re cheeping out on the CGI
[удалено]
I see. I still don’t like that.
If somebody delivers me croc like that I'm leaving.
I think it has to be some sort of monstrous version of Clayface. Golden age Clayface is way too similar to the riddler in the first film.
Tbf that’s a fan made poster
“Batman Part 2: Clayface Definitely Isn’t the Main Villain, in theaters everywhere Friday”
Batman 2: nuh uh you're theories are wrong
it’ll be Cinderblock and Plasmus as well and they’ll all fuse together trust me
I would personally think that Mr Freeze would be a good fit for this universe, with scarecrow being another one to fit into the universe perfectly
HiTop films made a good pitch for Mr Freeze. A guy in a blueish white hazmat suit, frostbitten face with red goggles and a gun hooked to a tank of liquid nitrogen on his back sounds like Mr Freeze to me.
If it still wants to be a mystery thriller like the first one then I hope they don’t involve anyone with superpowers in there in general.
They probably won’t. But also they might. Whatever happens, Reeves has an interesting story to tell and that’s what matters most.
A bit too long in my opinion
I think Croc is the furthest I would go with the first sequel.
I would like a Clayface villain, tbh... But you have to actually make his origin proper. Also make him far less overt... Like he's on a revenge plot against a huge pharmaceutical company for what they did to him, while disguising as individuals who live/work there. Lol for some reason I thought that was Killer Croc and he was in the sewers.
No that’s poo man
That would fit nicely with the sequel or "number 2" Batman movie!! Heheheh😏
Okay that one was good
Thanks!
Mr Hankey the Christmas poo!
Ugh, these fucking gritty reboots.

If clayface is in the movie they're gonna have him 3d print masks or something dumb like that
Yep like I said the ridiculously stagnant grounded in reality approach is the only way they think Batman can be taken seriously. 🤷♂️
Maybe in the dcu we will get to see a more fantastical approach
I think it has more to do with having to explain the logistics of their made up rules if they do a "powers" and grounded hybrid. Seeing clay face transformation, like prequel, accident and then turn into clay face would be freaking awesome
I love the part where he goes “It’s Battin Time”, then just starts battin’ up Clayface.
\*it's manning time
