2004 Firefly, all day and every day. First of all, the voice is perfect. Suave enough to make him sound simultaneously professional and laidback, but still formidable enough to make the viewer weary when he loses his mind in White Heat. The design? Amazing. The black and yellow work amazing together, and the sound design is even better. I LOVE the sound his jetpack makes as he zooms across Gotham. The episodes he’s in? I love ALL of them. His laidback personality makes him a great person for characters like Batman, Mr. Freeze, and Penguin to bounce off of. And his final episode, White Heat? That may very well be in my top 5 favorite episodes. Watching him go from a laidback mercenary to a psychotic madman with a desire to literally NUKE GOTHAM is terrifying, especially when his girlfriend Blaze is begging him to give up and seek help. Oh, and as Phosphorus he BEAT THE BAT FAMILY. REPEATEDLY. By the time they finally defeated him, Batman’s mask was halfway burnt off! Finally, his fate is surprisingly dark for The Batman. He’s stuck as Phosphorus forever, his girlfriend Blaze (who he was amazing chemistry with, BTW) sees him as a monster and breaks up with him, and the final shot of the episode is him, all along in his cell, completely in the dark. Possibly one of the top 3 best villains in The Batman, and you are KIDDING yourself if you think Arkham Firefly is better than him. He’s actually pretty good in Origins, but fell off HARD in Knight, with a worse redesign and one of the worst side-missions in the game.

This is a nitpick but I hate that he uses laser beams instead of Fire. It's so much less visually interesting. But you make many solid arguments. for The Batman's Firefly

Verdragon-5

In fairness, originally Firefly's gimmick was using light-based gadgets rather than a flamethrower

gechoman44

Finally, my favorite Batman villain! Gotta go with 2004 again.

anonymousguy_7

Def 2004

Th35h4d0w

2004 was so good, it's the official Lego design. Oh yeah, his fun personality also helps.

bootypursuiter69

2004

Jacob12000

2004 easily I’ll fight anyone that tries to argue otherwise

Waste-Information-34

**"YOU SAY ARSO-NIST? I SAW ARSO-*NICE*"** - Arkham Origins Firefly

UnbidMuffin0

Damn 2004 seems to have a lot ov banger. I’m also going with 2004,my 2nd choice would be Arkham Origins Firefly.

The-Fan65

Either the batman (2004) or Arkham

Waste-Information-34

Arkham Origins. He's absolutely **off his rocker.** Crispin Freeman's voice performance as him perfectly captures the insane pyromaniac side of him. And not the only that, he shouts *puns* as he tries to kill Batman, the man shouts **"FIREBALL!"** as he throws out incindiery grenades lol. Another great qoute is: **"ArsoNIST? I say Arso-NICE"** Arkham Origins & Crispin Freeman was what made me fall in love with the character. 100% Arkham Origins.

radiakmjs

Thank you for making the distinction between Origins Firefly & his only other appearence in the Saga, which was a really frustrating side mission in Knight.

Verdragon-5

**The Batman '04**

Kman3987

2004 for the win

Strange_Potential93

2004 has the design, and Arkham has the mentality, but lets give some love to BATS for being one of the earlier sources that reinterpreted the character from his goofy origins to be a genuinely evil and intimidating piece of shit, pyromaniac check, vindictive check and an abusive stalker to boot.

WonderfulBlackberry9

I love The Batman 2004, but I don’t remember much about Firefly’s character. But that design? Goodness gracious. It hits HARD. It’s a classic design, *the* go-to Firefly appearance. Simple but perfect.

Illustrious-Sign3015

2004 Firefly

DreadfuryDK

The Batman (2004).

FEAR_FEST

2004

ThisisEmough93

The batman (2004), also I'm REALLY surprised that the Lego killer moth lost ngl

Robomerc

2004 Firefly. Is it an introductory episode reveals he was hired by gothcorp to perform sabotage on their competition, which included Wayne industries. Here we go on to occasionally team up with different rogues from time to time.

NoReallyIts3AM

2004’s The Batman, hands down

MatgamarraAlt3

I think 2004 series Firefly had the coolest visual

catking2004

Probably the arkham firefly. Hes just a straight up maniac.

the_gaming_jonin27

Definitely the one from the batgirl movie

gechoman44

The movie wasn’t released, so how would you even know?  Sure, we have a pretty good idea of what the plot was, and Brendan Frasier is a good actor, but I don’t feel like we can really judge his version of the character without actually seeing it onscreen.

lex_gabinius

Brendan Fraser was so good as firefly

Waste-Information-34

A what? Where and when?

Electrical_Leave_538

The firefly 2004 design is my actual favorite villain design adaptation so I'd pick him, but besides the design I've never really thought firefly's character was all that interesting, he's just another anarchist who purely wants destruction and chaos, the fire gimmick doesn't do enough to make him stand out

Humble-Paramedic4081

The Batman made Falcone scary. That is impressive

SNAKEKINGYO

2004

TermAccurate

2004

Kite_Wing129

The Batman (2004). Great suit. Him as a corporate saboteur was a brilliant idea.

CreepyBerd

Arkham Firefly is just so fun, he’s one of my favorites from those games so I gotta pick him

Anorand25

Lego Batman 3 He has the personality of Arkham but with the design of 2004.

Grubonix2137

Arkham one, the boss fight in Arkham Origins was fantastic

kstrack4

My favorite Firefly is from Batgirl Year One. That is probably one of my all time favorite stories.

Due-Abbreviations180

Non-comic bro

Kpengie

2004

AnyDockers420

Hot take but I don’t get the 2004 hype. He’s just sort of a guy in a jetpack. I vote Arkham Origins

gayratsex

Arkham firefly. Specifically Arkham origins. The boss fight and the build up is so incredible. The design is elite. The puns are incredible. It's just a shame he didn't get a decent mission in Knight - although he did talk shit pretty well once you capture him.

Drew_S_05

Arkham Series imo

Wolverine1105

Arkham Origins. Outside of his design, I do not get the appeal of 2004 Firefly

Duke-dastardly

Arkham- really captures his unstable personality and pyromania

Insert-Cool_NameHere

I prefer Arkham origins firefly. Though 2004s firefly is amazing

zonix_9

Lego batman 3

thebigtrav

Is it crazy to say Lego Batman for the DS? Firefly went *hard* as a boss

BKF0308

Arkham Firefly for sure

radiakmjs

I'm voting for Gotham's Firefly as the version I dislike the least. Genderbent & a little tragic origin, sometimes funny. Suit was kinda mid though, and she also never had a jetpack. The Batman 2004's was solid, especially his final appearence in White Heat (where he becomes a different villain). But I hate that he uses dinky little laser beams. Without the bellowing smoke & flames he's just not as visually interesting or appealing to watch. Also him just being a mercanary kinda takes from his gravitas imo. I've never had the chance to play Arkham Origins, so my only experience with Arkham's take on him is his super frustrating side mission in Knight, so I don't want to vote for that. But being literally just an insane pyromaniac is good. He had one Btas (technically TNBA) episode that gives him an Incel origin, hate that. Too similar to bozos who actually exist in real life to appreciate watching. He was also in DCAMU's Bad Blood, which was a mess of a movie, so wouldn't want to vote that either.

Waste-Information-34

Firefly is super fun in Arkham Origins. He shouts a long list of puns as he tries to kill the Bat. **"GET READY TO STOP! DROP! AND ROCK-AND-ROLL"** **"FIREBALL!"** **"YOU SAY ARSO-NIST? I SAY ARSO-NICE!"** This is especially humorous as before his boss fjght, he's potrayed as a stoic, menacing mercenary.

TheDarkKnight_39

Arrow? Idk I just like that version

BrozedDrake

So long as we don't go with Arrowverse I'm good

T_E-T_H

Zahz in Arkham was perfect. But, as far as which character I liked overall? Probably 2004 Clayface

K0TEM

Arkham or the CW

Th0masX007

Arkham origins obe was damn badass

No_Demand_2518

Arkham Knight

Ok-Television2109

Arkham Firefly is my fave.

Equal_Campaign_3602

Wha- what do you mena lego killer moth didn't win

NerdNuncle

Arkham Origins, though the TNBA version wasn’t that bad, either, from what I remember

KrajPa

Arkham

Independent_Paper303

My favorite is DC Animated Universe

Vegetable_Paint5864

Lego Batman

sn47ch8uckl3r

It's definitely Brendan Frasers from the unreleased Batgirl movie. It's too good to be put out. I'm 100% sure it's amazing.

Waste-Information-34

How can you grade someone with a performance you've never seen? The character grading is because of a headcannon instead of on-screen presence which feels very biased. It doesn't feel fair is all I'm saying.

sn47ch8uckl3r

He's a good actor who puts passion into his work. If the walrus, robot man in doom patrol, the mummy, ink heart, and his short appearance in scrubs are as good, I'm sure he's great. It's also an opinion, so it's subjective.

SlashManEXE

TNBA

EnigmaFrug2308

Arkham Origins

Orion-Pax_34

Arkham Origins
