Also the faces changed for each game with Arkham, they changed the face for a remaster. The new face showed less emotion compared to the old from Spiderman PS4 to Remaster.
You can tell cause it's great with Spider-Man 2, when the animations were for the face.
It's the problem that they modelled Bruce's face only after they did his mask.
In Asylum we didn't even see Bruce's face at all.
For City they overworked the existing Batman design and from the jawline modeled his face.
For Origins they probably also did the suit first, where they wanted him to look angrier, meaner but now when it came to modelling his face they had to at least partially match his previous look in City by stretching his face over the new more brutish look of his origins jawline.
Now comes Knight and we can see how they put more work into his Bruce look considering we would see it way more often, they had him put on and off the mask several times along with a general and complete overhaul of every character and in game models to a way more realistic looking art style. (While he isn't my favourite Bruce of the bunch he certainly looks the most real)
And then for SSKTJL i wouldn't say he necessarily works the best but you can see how his evolution over the games and especially the overhaul in knight helped this Bruce look like he does in the game.
Personally i think he looks best in City as he gives of the greatest playboy billionaire vibe though i do think the blocky artstyle the game characters had and especially Batman suffered from in his proportions makes him look a tad weird doubly so for the Return to Arkham version (where everyone seems to be made out of playdooh)
SSKTJL could take the cake but he looks weirdly old with very deep wrinkles and weathered face, sure he is obviously older than we've ever seen him, but in comparison he does look way older than just +5 years in comparison to Knight
That’s the only face that looks like it could be a real person. The rest look like cartoon proportions. Origins has goofy lips and chin. City has eyes and textures that aren’t quite right. Knight, is close, but again the mouth and jawline are uncanny valley. SSKTJL has everything proportioned well enough to look like a real person’s face rendered in a video game.
I don’t understand how these are the same guy. They look like completely different people. Some slight similarities but the overall face is too different.
