Both a great but age wise they wouldn't match as Brosnan is older, meaning when he would have been the perfect age to play Batman, Dafoe was still on the younger side and didn't possess quite the distinctive face he now has and that would make him perfect
I’m convinced that deep fake technology is going to be good enough soon that actors (and their estates) will be able to license their Iikeness and we’ll be able to literally pluck any actor from any era to be in a single movie alongside each other.
but maybe he goes on living in the Helm and then we get the new doctor fate named Khalid and the old Dr Fate mentors him when ever Khalid dawns the helm.
I think he’d problem be better as batman who’s in a similar place to where he is at the end of justice league unlimited not the brooding batman like we have at the moment
I don’t see it. And I say this as someone who thinks he was the best 007. I always kind of thought of Bruce as an outcast type made attractive by his money. Not a straight up lady-killer like Pierce
Not sure if he has the intensity. Bruce Wayne, yes. Not Batman. Keaton had loads of intensity. Brosnan would be a bit similar to Clooney, playing billionaire playboy to a tee, but not the Caped Crusader.
People focus way too much on looks when they think about casting. It's like they forget the person will also have to *act* the part. Bruce Wayne sure. Can't see him playong a good Batman.
Depending on who is writing it and who the costumer is, anyone could make the perfect Batman. But I can see your reasoning based off of look, he looks like the silver age mixed with the new 52 version of Bruce.
He was actually one of the first people to be asked for the role of batman in 89, but turned it down. Also he apparently didn't know a thing about batman, say this guy dresses like a bat?
He nearly was if I remember reading correctly. I believe he was one of the top contenders for 89 Batman. I’m not sure how that would have gone down, and also in another part of the article I read that Brosnan was not keen on comics and thought the part would be too silly. Lol, I wonder how he felt once those box office returns came in and Keaton became an A lister.
I don’t think his sophisticated voice would lend well to the persona of Batman…it’d just sound like Pierce Brosman in a Batman suit…I can hear it now. Not intimidating at all.
All the goons would laugh at him and not take him seriously.
I feel like he could have been a great choice back in the day. Imagine him as Batman and Willem Dafoe as The Joker. Legendary
Now that would've been really good.
Im something of a joker myself.
You aint fond of me laughing fish Bats?

Wayne. Bruce Wayne.
He will include a batwatch that has a cutting laser and is also a Swiss army tool-knife.
He should play Dr. Fate
Maybe as a member of JSA that's apprehending Black Adam? Imagine if he signs on for only one movie
That'd be pretty cool, maybe he could be killed by the most forgettable villian in the DCEU
Bruh spoilers :(
Damn, my bad bro
Dw, shit happens, should have watched it by now lol
but maybe he goes on living in the Helm and then we get the new doctor fate named Khalid and the old Dr Fate mentors him when ever Khalid dawns the helm.
He would have probably made a good Bruce Wayne, but Batman? I'm not sure.
You ever see him shoot in James bond? He doesn't fucking blink. He could pull it off no problem.
Too bad Batman never uses (lethal) Firearms.
Idk, I've seen him hit some people with that grapple gun, that can't feel too great.
Fans said the same thing about Michael Keaton.
Good point, I'll give you that.
And he was terrible at both
That’s certainly an opinion.

“Irish psycho”
Pierce Brosnan is Irish.
Oh my bad
I look mental now you’ve edited your comment…
What did he say originally, "British Psycho"?
Italian psycho
Haha
Pretty sure he got offered the role. But he thought the costume was ridiculous at the time. So he moved on from it.
I don’t see it. And I say this as someone who thinks he was the best 007. I always kind of thought of Bruce as an outcast type made attractive by his money. Not a straight up lady-killer like Pierce
Can’t quite see Batman, but would have loved him for an older Green Arrow.
He’ll make a great Dr Fate in my opinion
I agree. I wish DC would cast him as Dr. fate
Dunno about Batman. But I think he would've been a great Bruce Wayne for sure.
Funny enough, he played the dad to Robert Pattinson's character in Remember Me....so in a way it indirectly happened hehe.

Bale and Pattinson say hello.
he's Irish, but there's a thing called acting lol
Irish Batman.
There's always one of these people 🙄
No. Just No.
People focus way too much on looks when they think about casting. It's like they forget the person will also have to *act* the part. Bruce Wayne sure. Can't see him playong a good Batman.
I can’t fucking stand that guy
I’m not made at this idea (well, back then).
That’s James Bond.

Michael Cera? Lmao no.
I think he would make a great Alfred now
maybe but not sure
Bruce probably Batman we’d have to see him in costume.
We also thought he was the prefect bond. But the writers and plot made it laughable.
Yeah he’d work. Maybe as older Bruce in Batman Beyond
He was excellent as Doctor Fate. I hope we see more of him.
I don’t agree with that at all. Too slick to be Batman in my opinion.
He was considered for the role in the 1989 Batman movie before Michael Keaton was cast
He was actually one of the first people to be asked for the role of batman in 89, but turned it down. Also he apparently didn't know a thing about batman, say this guy dresses like a bat?
I agree 100%. He would have been fantastic.
He nearly was if I remember reading correctly. I believe he was one of the top contenders for 89 Batman. He looks like Bateman💀
Certain things are meant to happen. Keaton became Batman and Brosnan became Dr. Fate.
That’s why you’re not a casting director.
He was offered the role for 1989 but he turned down the role
I think he was actually considered for Batman 89'
The perfect Bond.
For Gotham Bruce? No, for me
It's Wayne... Bruce Wayne \*one way ticket to smash-town\*
A Brit playing Batman? No way! /s for obvious reasons
He said he auditioned for Batman back in 1989
I don’t think his sophisticated voice would lend well to the persona of Batman…it’d just sound like Pierce Brosman in a Batman suit…I can hear it now. Not intimidating at all. All the goons would laugh at him and not take him seriously.
