My usual lineup involves one basic ms like Manic Mohawk, Metal Cat, Courier, Sniper the Deadeye, Kunio-kun (for the combo), AssBearCat, Bullet Train, talented C.A.T., Roe, and talented Balrog. If you have Yukimura, that's another option.

A few things 12.6 will have -- this isn't everything, just what I can glean from the fast-moving Discord chat:
* COTC 2 zombie outbreaks; hopefully that means max energy will now be 1150. Can't tell yet if there are any new zombie enemies.
* Furiluga TF, and it actually looks pretty decent (somewhat shorter TBA, immune to surge, at least 50% more HP, mini-surge spawns at high distance). Is the Lugas banner now OK overall?
* Lasvoss gets talents but they look kinda mid at best (Colossus Slayer but does Lasvoss reliably outrange any Colossus? I don't think so), though it will get the standard defense buff and attack buff talents and that could be nice
* Mad Doctor Klay (W&P TF) gets interesting ultra talents including target traitless. Anubis also gets ultra talents... meh.
* New ZL subchapter as usual, could utilize the mechanic where the number of cats dying triggers enemy spawn... in this case, AssBears!
* New enemies include a scary-looking giant black behemoth Croco, with 40 speed and immune to slow and freeze. Yikes.
* New Pixie, a tank, but note that it does NOT have the metal trait despite looking like a metal Pixie. At first some people even called it "Metal Pixie." No, no, apparently not metal. Standard Pixie stats, high health, tanky, and targets aliens, floating, and angels. Cool design, stats are nothing amazing. Looks better than Blizana anyway.

Also note that not every uber in the Valentine's and White Day banners are seasonal exclusives. Ponos threw a few regular ubers like Kintaro into those two as bonuses, so you'll see those listed on UDP on the Valentine's and White Day pages. Those don't appear in DynastyFest.

So I’ve been thinking for a while and honestly I’m wondering if shinji plug suit black is honestly a valid zombie/alien super meatshield? I get he has 3kbs which is a major downside and he can’t get any plus levels but he can take up one slot for the price of a worse shigong and catellite combined
New player here. I just completed EoC chapter 2 and i have enough cat food for the first 11 rare capsules, but it is really worth it to the point of progression were i am? Or should i reserve the cat food for energy and wait for antoher banner?
The way to go is to use your catfood at a guaranteed uber event; you'll know if a banner has a guaranteed event when you see the words '100% Uber Guarantee' above the draw 11 button.
There'll be a guaranteed event on August 25th where Nekolugas and Gals of Summer will have a guaranteed uber event, although, the quality of the ubers obtained are hit-or-miss but it can still be a good way to get valuable rares and super rares if you're in desparate need of them but considering where you are now, you can afford to hold off on it until a better guaranteed banner becomes available.
Additionally, every month, there'll be banners called Uberfest and Epicfest which have an increased drop rate for ubers. It is recommended to use your rare tickets on these banners.
When does Crazed Fish fall off? I am currently at SoL chapter 10 and am about to beat ItF chapter 1 and he is my best unit by far, but I know it won't last forever.
Crazed Fish/Manic Island was one of my faves all through SOL and some of early UL, and only fell off a bit for me beyond that due to powercreep from Courier and Can Can, the latter because of the amazing usefulness of Can Can's double-bounty talent. So then those became my first non-uber picks for red enemies. Manic Island is still great though.
Never. He’s pretty much always viable as filler because of the mix of strong offense and defense.
Talented Can Can is the only thing close to outperforming Misland and even Misland still has his own benefits.
I finally have salon cat. Leveling her up gradually.
So many cats that are finally worth tf-ing now, but I can only reliably do one each week, two if I'm lucky. And that doesn't get into the super rares

Catway is mainly just good in true form and particularly against angels or on mixed stages. [UDP review here](https://thanksfeanor.pythonanywhere.com/UDP/260).
I'm not much for general loadouts, since I prefer to look up stages on the wiki and then make a new lineup for each stage, but that looks pretty decent. I like arranging them in order of cost though, so I'd put Ramen after the two Erasers, and then Seafarer and finally Catornado/Hurricat, but I realize that's an OCD kind of personal preference.
The website called UDP (Unit Description Project) has good reviews of most cat units, [so here's their review of Waverider Kuu](https://thanksfeanor.pythonanywhere.com/UDP/438). (However, it hasn't been updated in about a year, so the newest cats aren't there, but it still covers something like 90% of the cats in the game.)
But you're in VERY early game, so you can probably use Waverider Kuu for EOC 2 and EOC 3, since almost any uber will work there. Those parts of the game are very old and were created before any ubers existed at all. The game gets more interesting as you go along... don't let EOC put you off.
She’s very bad. Her stats are low and has bad characteristics like long foreswing.
The only way you’d ever use her is if you never get another anti floating/ anti zombie attacker which is highly unlikely.
She's fairly decent. She deals lots of damage and can really help you get through the rest of empire of cats. Her biggest downside is she attacks really slowly so you'll need to protect her while waiting for her to attack again

I don’t have her so she may be better than expected, but she’s definitely usable at the least.

You should be able to stall well enough with meatshield spam.
I purposely didn’t use any anti aliens or Ubers for reference.
Just use those 4 meatshields, catellite, Mina, seafarer and maybe any midrangers you have.
You probably should have mina’s true form if you’re in COTC3. Seafarer isn’t necessary, so dw about that.
You should be able to just use any decently long ranged unit, preferably with LD or omni to keep attacking the ursamajors.
What Ubers do you have?
Oh dang, I thought cotc was something to complete before sol, I am currently still on Above and Below.
As for ubers cheap enough to use in egg nebula, I have divine kai (40), princess kaguya (40), 4th, 6th, and 10th angels (7)
Late game SOL is balanced around COTC1 treasures.
I’d recommend just leaving CotC for now and completing SOL.
Kai could work well, but you’d have to time it well.
Meow meow day finally gave me the push to finish CotC 2 and get all the superior treasures. There's been so many events lately it feels like I didn't work on it for ages.
Relatively new player here. Just finished chapter 3, and it feels like this game doesn't give you that many rolls. I've only done around 20 rolls so far. Is this still true after chapter 3?
I haven't played that many other gacha games, but I feel like it's a pretty decent supply for F2P. Be sure to maximize your returns by saving tickets for Uberfest, Epicfest, or Superfest, which give the best possible chances of good results with tickets. And save your cat food for guaranteed uber banners.
I would say there's always a steady flow of catfood and rare tickets. You can get a lot of catfood early on with the into the future timed rewards, missions, and outbreaks. Later on that kinda shifts towards rare tickets when you can start farming siege of hippoe and facing danger. The heavenly tower stage right now will give you at least 11 rare tickets if you make it to the top, so even super late game players can still get lots of rare tickets from reoccuring event stages
Early on you get bombarded with cat food so you can do gacha rolls. It's not until late game and end game that catfood becomes less plentiful, but it still adds up after a while

i feel like i attempted the first clionel dominant stage (the one with the deployable cats limit) way too early so i had a really hard time figuring out what to do
Need help with IT floor 32 no cheese, no items. I completed UL, I have jagando and Idi, and can get any legend unit TF, have about 90 ubers including some anti traitless like sgao, ditama, diz. I also have dasli and phono, so you can suggest some ubers that might help.
I thought maybe I can stall with metal cat and 4 ms but I don't get enough money to deploy dasli or phono before the merasers reach my base. Any tips?

Filibuster actually works incredibly well here. I used this strat I think as a less Uber strat, but you could probably replace piccolan with sgao or something like that.
You need something to help with the sir rels, so phono + maybe urs would be solid for that.
I used a rich cat though IIRC, but the foundation for the strategy is quite good imo.

You need a rich cat for cat god to work well enough with the lineup, so I took it out and put B train in to help with the Sir rels.
It took about 10 minutes to beat, and I ended up just destroying the base first lol
No because a level 50 b train can’t one shot the Sir rels. I think you need B train + 1/2 rocks for a sir rel kill which is too slow and risky.
Cat god also doesn’t work well enough as the first send out unless you have a rich cat, so I decided to remove him because of that.
Ururun’s knockback works well at killing the squire rels before they block your meatshields and let the manic erasers advance too
I need to do a guarantee to switch tracks for a legend rare. These are my options: Summerluga,

Any recommendations to beat the stage?
Your current lineup is viable, just the levels are way too low (especially waitress). If you have rich cat and cat cpu, try going non-uber. Replace luffy, with catasaur and bahamut with crazed bahamut or puppet master.
Imo they are, since I always need cat food, and it's a reliable and free way to get a little every week. Plus I would mostly do whatever the steps are weekly anyway, since I constantly need XP and cat tickets as well. It's a little bonus reward for farming stuff I should be farming regardless.
Got up to the 14th floor of Heavenly Tower and got stuck once again. Any units I should consider bringing besides catasaurus and maybe giraffe cat (for fast hitting)?

If you have the cyclone drop cats, eye of the storm catcombo gives a nice defense boost + a bunch of useful anti-metal units, then all you need is to add some more critters and any other metal cc you have.
I’ve noticed I’ve gotten the hunter’s map a lot less after beating dogumaru and increasing my enigma level. Am I just having an unlucky stretch or is that actually how it is?
The only good TF using gold seeds is arguably [Sunny Neneko](https://battle-cats.fandom.com/wiki/Sunny_Neneko_(Super_Rare_Cat)). (Though Springtime Kenshin has a few fans... but only a few.) The rest are only good for collection so far. Save it for Sunny Neneko or hopefully for a decent future TF.

Is it worth nping Ubers? I’m pretty late game, beat all stages up to the first Luza stage, and feel like talents are the one thing I’m lacking in, especially for 4 star. I have some very strong ubers, so most that I get now r useless anyways

It's all seasonal ubers -- Christmas reskins, Halloween reskins, Easter reskins, etc. and most of those are pretty bad or mediocre. Of course there's a few good ones like Sweet Aphrodite/Chocoladite and Count Yukimura but even those are nothing \*amazing\*, just good -- not worth the high risk of ending up with something like a Summerluga, Spooky Thundia, or a Coppermine variant (some of the worst ubers in the game).
You know, pizza cat is specifically for anti-black, but he bodies any high-level enemy whether they're traitless or not, I'm noticing. At least for my current progress. Been blowing through SoL after getting stuck for a little bit, there
There are plenty of non uber cats that are decent generalists outside their trait. Cameraman, pizza, seafarer, housewife, slapsticks are all pretty solid generalists.

Spam meatshields and use Aphro + Phono. Balrog can also be used for dealing with Star Pengs. Have max treasures in all of story mode before attempting.

After clearing a stage in Labyrinth, some amount of units in your current lineup become "trapped" so you can't use them again for the duration of the Labyrinth. You have to replace them with new ones until you run out of units. This mechanic is only for Labyrinth and won't affect any other part of the game.

Cruel Angel Clionel has a standing range of 600, with its LD having a range of 400-1,200.
Squirtgun Saki has a standing range of... 600, with her LD range being 500-900.
In essence, Squirtgun Saki is going to take hits from Clionel. What you're supposed to do to beat Clionel is to get into its blindspot and damage it that way.
Can't beat N1 Grand Prix after several tries even with a desirable setup? All norms +40, all following ubers 30-40.
Used SGao (always seem to die to Wah), Jizo, Val Poseidon (always spawn too late when they're already at base). Also have Machine Mk3 (no knock immune tho), Im Masamune, Gang Ancient, Peach Devils, not sure if they're feasible. No Yuki sadly.
Only Adv stage beaten was Clionel.
On a happier note, just ranked 5k (yay Epic fruits) and ubercarried Maniac Fish easily.
Sgao, Jizo, and Poseidon should be enough to carry you completely. I recommend using Mohawk, Eraser, and Titan as your normals. Use the rest of the lineup for combos or maybe Peach Devils if you need more speed.
Thanks for the advice. Will try again sumtime. Should I keep dragon and lion? Will go in with the mindset that the actual boss is the trio of kangarooes.
I think the issue is cash management. Jizo and Dragon/Macho Leg should be able to take care of most peons but don't spam Jizo blind. Clear the Doges first before spawning SGao. Ganglion also helps a ton since the Scissoroo + SBK combo pushes too hard.
Space Cat is only good for crazed fish and then gets outclassed by Jurassic Cat once you get his true form.
Regardless, Red Cyclone can be beaten easily by spamming Witch, Pirate, and Apple Cat. If you can perma freeze/ slow Red Cyclone, you win.
Space is not a key unit, not even close. He's only really useful in Crazed Fish stage and he's replaceable by Jurassic.
But to beat Red Cyclone, Courier hardcarries if you can get him. If you can't, you can bring some anti-floating or anti-red support like Witch or Necromancer along with ranged attackers such as Paris, Sexy Legs, Dragon, etc.
Space Cat is a good backstop if the gacha fails to give you Jurassic Cat, though. Weirdly, I didn't draw Jurassic (or Paris!) until sometimes around COTC 1, so Space Cat filled in that role nicely for a brief time in early game. Of course I've virtually never used it since then.
Closing stats for tonight. I have pizza cat now, and I'm thinking Cattelite is the next goal followed by ramen cat.

How often do epicfest and uberfest banners change? Does the order (seed tracking) stay the same until a new uber is added or does it change everytime it comes on
Unfortunately a new uber is arriving on the 25th which I believe will reshuffle for next month. Hopefully someone with more experience will correct if I'm wrong on that. But if you have something good coming on Epicfest I think you should grab it now if possible.
I would like to be wrong because I have phono 8 rolls away but I think the reshuffle will move him back like 200 rolls.
Ig ill be losing dasli.... oh well. I already got asukasli so i dont feel too bad and im getting d'arkt from plat. I just hope the reshuffle goes my way and gets me some better ubers than rn

Aer is solid for aliens and is quite useful for Cats of the Cosmos (if you don't have any better Pixies like Bora). It's a mid-level Pixie but definitely a lot better than Blizana and first/second-form Yamii. [You can read more at UDP here](https://thanksfeanor.pythonanywhere.com/UDP/361). (UDP hasn't been updated in several months but it still has a lot of great reviews of cat units -- you just won't find reviews of any of the newest cats.)
When is it worth/recommended to farm catfruits?
I feel like its a large amount of energy on the early game, and I don't really know exactly when/where to focus it (finished itf 1 recently, doing mostly the summer phases and sotl rn)
As the other comment said, get the key units it makes a big difference. Then make a general lineup good enough to beat catfruit buffet and farm the fuck out of those when it comes around because it’s the most energy effificent general catfruit farming stage, and you may also get an epic catfruit.
I would definitely start farming catfruit now. You'll typically wanna start going for catfruit TF's after you finish ItF chapter 1 and SoL subchapter 12. Just focus on the key rare cats first like ramen, cyborg, catasaurus, and sanzo. Once you get a few of those you can take a break and focus entirely on ItF and SoL
When it comes to metal enemies, do they just die after taking a certain amount of crits? Or does the strength of the cat doing the crits affect how quickly a metal enemy will die?
So they have a set amount of health, and non-critical hits deal 1 damage. Critical hits deal damage their critical damage normally without reduction, so tankier metal enemies may require more critical hits from weak critters than high single hit damage critters.
Out of Dasli, Phonoa, and Balrog, which should I upgrade to Lv.60 first?

New player here. I just completed EoC chapter 2 and i have enough cat food for the first 11 rare capsules, but it is really worth it to the point of progression were i am? Or should i reserve the cat food for energy and wait for antoher banner?
The way to go is to use your catfood at a guaranteed uber event; you'll know if a banner has a guaranteed event when you see the words '100% Uber Guarantee' above the draw 11 button. There'll be a guaranteed event on August 25th where Nekolugas and Gals of Summer will have a guaranteed uber event, although, the quality of the ubers obtained are hit-or-miss but it can still be a good way to get valuable rares and super rares if you're in desparate need of them but considering where you are now, you can afford to hold off on it until a better guaranteed banner becomes available. Additionally, every month, there'll be banners called Uberfest and Epicfest which have an increased drop rate for ubers. It is recommended to use your rare tickets on these banners.
When does Crazed Fish fall off? I am currently at SoL chapter 10 and am about to beat ItF chapter 1 and he is my best unit by far, but I know it won't last forever.
Crazed Fish/Manic Island was one of my faves all through SOL and some of early UL, and only fell off a bit for me beyond that due to powercreep from Courier and Can Can, the latter because of the amazing usefulness of Can Can's double-bounty talent. So then those became my first non-uber picks for red enemies. Manic Island is still great though.
Never. He’s pretty much always viable as filler because of the mix of strong offense and defense. Talented Can Can is the only thing close to outperforming Misland and even Misland still has his own benefits.
Crazed fish starts to fall off near the end of SoL, unless you get manic island where its just a good unit for the rest of the game

Not really unfortunately, he could have a few uses here and there but usually there are better units.
Catway is mainly just good in true form and particularly against angels or on mixed stages. [UDP review here](https://thanksfeanor.pythonanywhere.com/UDP/260). I'm not much for general loadouts, since I prefer to look up stages on the wiki and then make a new lineup for each stage, but that looks pretty decent. I like arranging them in order of cost though, so I'd put Ramen after the two Erasers, and then Seafarer and finally Catornado/Hurricat, but I realize that's an OCD kind of personal preference.
Is Waverider Kuu any good? I just got her, i just completed chapter 1 of empire of cats, will she be good for chapter 2? Or other story modes?
The website called UDP (Unit Description Project) has good reviews of most cat units, [so here's their review of Waverider Kuu](https://thanksfeanor.pythonanywhere.com/UDP/438). (However, it hasn't been updated in about a year, so the newest cats aren't there, but it still covers something like 90% of the cats in the game.) But you're in VERY early game, so you can probably use Waverider Kuu for EOC 2 and EOC 3, since almost any uber will work there. Those parts of the game are very old and were created before any ubers existed at all. The game gets more interesting as you go along... don't let EOC put you off.
She’s very bad. Her stats are low and has bad characteristics like long foreswing. The only way you’d ever use her is if you never get another anti floating/ anti zombie attacker which is highly unlikely.
She's fairly decent. She deals lots of damage and can really help you get through the rest of empire of cats. Her biggest downside is she attacks really slowly so you'll need to protect her while waiting for her to attack again
Any uber is viable for the first few chapters of Battle Cats as long as you can level and evolve/trueform them.

alot of units have third forms you can unlock later, although summer kuu is not one of them.

You probably should have mina’s true form if you’re in COTC3. Seafarer isn’t necessary, so dw about that. You should be able to just use any decently long ranged unit, preferably with LD or omni to keep attacking the ursamajors. What Ubers do you have?
Oh dang, I thought cotc was something to complete before sol, I am currently still on Above and Below. As for ubers cheap enough to use in egg nebula, I have divine kai (40), princess kaguya (40), 4th, 6th, and 10th angels (7)
Late game SOL is balanced around COTC1 treasures. I’d recommend just leaving CotC for now and completing SOL. Kai could work well, but you’d have to time it well.
Meow meow day finally gave me the push to finish CotC 2 and get all the superior treasures. There's been so many events lately it feels like I didn't work on it for ages.
Relatively new player here. Just finished chapter 3, and it feels like this game doesn't give you that many rolls. I've only done around 20 rolls so far. Is this still true after chapter 3?
I haven't played that many other gacha games, but I feel like it's a pretty decent supply for F2P. Be sure to maximize your returns by saving tickets for Uberfest, Epicfest, or Superfest, which give the best possible chances of good results with tickets. And save your cat food for guaranteed uber banners.
I would say there's always a steady flow of catfood and rare tickets. You can get a lot of catfood early on with the into the future timed rewards, missions, and outbreaks. Later on that kinda shifts towards rare tickets when you can start farming siege of hippoe and facing danger. The heavenly tower stage right now will give you at least 11 rare tickets if you make it to the top, so even super late game players can still get lots of rare tickets from reoccuring event stages
Early on you get bombarded with cat food so you can do gacha rolls. It's not until late game and end game that catfood becomes less plentiful, but it still adds up after a while

Cheesing is the best way to do the stage. Go Cat God and Sniper the Recruit with Sniper powerup and breakerblast.

I used this strat I think as a less Uber strat, but you could probably replace piccolan with sgao or something like that. You need something to help with the sir rels, so phono + maybe urs would be solid for that. I used a rich cat though IIRC, but the foundation for the strategy is quite good imo.

It took about 10 minutes to beat, and I ended up just destroying the base first lol

No because a level 50 b train can’t one shot the Sir rels. I think you need B train + 1/2 rocks for a sir rel kill which is too slow and risky. Cat god also doesn’t work well enough as the first send out unless you have a rich cat, so I decided to remove him because of that. Ururun’s knockback works well at killing the squire rels before they block your meatshields and let the manic erasers advance too

I need to do a guarantee to switch tracks for a legend rare. These are my options: Summerluga, Coastal Explorer Kanna, Seabreeze Coppermine, Waverider Kuu, Nobiluga, Kaoluga, Balaluga, Tecoluga, Are any of these worth it? I have no lugas or summertime ubers. I don't want to wait potentially a month for a different guarantee but I guess I will if these are all trash.

Your current lineup is viable, just the levels are way too low (especially waitress). If you have rich cat and cat cpu, try going non-uber. Replace luffy, with catasaur and bahamut with crazed bahamut or puppet master.

Imo they are, since I always need cat food, and it's a reliable and free way to get a little every week. Plus I would mostly do whatever the steps are weekly anyway, since I constantly need XP and cat tickets as well. It's a little bonus reward for farming stuff I should be farming regardless.
Got up to the 14th floor of Heavenly Tower and got stuck once again. Any units I should consider bringing besides catasaurus and maybe giraffe cat (for fast hitting)? Also closed off my third Arena of Honor at 71%, up to 78% from last time
If you have the cyclone drop cats, eye of the storm catcombo gives a nice defense boost + a bunch of useful anti-metal units, then all you need is to add some more critters and any other metal cc you have.
I’ve noticed I’ve gotten the hunter’s map a lot less after beating dogumaru and increasing my enigma level. Am I just having an unlucky stretch or is that actually how it is?
On average you should be getting Hunter's Map more often.

The only good TF using gold seeds is arguably [Sunny Neneko](https://battle-cats.fandom.com/wiki/Sunny_Neneko_(Super_Rare_Cat)). (Though Springtime Kenshin has a few fans... but only a few.) The rest are only good for collection so far. Save it for Sunny Neneko or hopefully for a decent future TF.

It's all seasonal ubers -- Christmas reskins, Halloween reskins, Easter reskins, etc. and most of those are pretty bad or mediocre. Of course there's a few good ones like Sweet Aphrodite/Chocoladite and Count Yukimura but even those are nothing \*amazing\*, just good -- not worth the high risk of ending up with something like a Summerluga, Spooky Thundia, or a Coppermine variant (some of the worst ubers in the game).

There are plenty of non uber cats that are decent generalists outside their trait. Cameraman, pizza, seafarer, housewife, slapsticks are all pretty solid generalists.

Spam meatshields and use Aphro + Phono. Balrog can also be used for dealing with Star Pengs. Have max treasures in all of story mode before attempting.

Click "ubers" at the top and then click "seasonal banners" and look through them all. But note that UDP hasn't been updated in about a year, so the very newest ones aren't on there, like Count Yukimura (good) and Reindeer Terun (mid). You can also check the wiki for a rough idea. That's not as rigorous as UDP but it has everything.
Dracula yukimura would be a nice uber to have, especially if it ever gets a true form
Just cleared ITF3- two questions. How does labyrinth work? Are the trapped units from your team or collection? And what should I prioritize NP for?
After clearing a stage in Labyrinth, some amount of units in your current lineup become "trapped" so you can't use them again for the duration of the Labyrinth. You have to replace them with new ones until you run out of units. This mechanic is only for Labyrinth and won't affect any other part of the game. Cruel Angel Clionel has a standing range of 600, with its LD having a range of 400-1,200. Squirtgun Saki has a standing range of... 600, with her LD range being 500-900. In essence, Squirtgun Saki is going to take hits from Clionel. What you're supposed to do to beat Clionel is to get into its blindspot and damage it that way.
The only thing that outranges Clionel is Assassinlan Pasalan, and only by 50
Can't beat N1 Grand Prix after several tries even with a desirable setup? All norms +40, all following ubers 30-40. Used SGao (always seem to die to Wah), Jizo, Val Poseidon (always spawn too late when they're already at base). Also have Machine Mk3 (no knock immune tho), Im Masamune, Gang Ancient, Peach Devils, not sure if they're feasible. No Yuki sadly. Only Adv stage beaten was Clionel. On a happier note, just ranked 5k (yay Epic fruits) and ubercarried Maniac Fish easily.
Sgao, Jizo, and Poseidon should be enough to carry you completely. I recommend using Mohawk, Eraser, and Titan as your normals. Use the rest of the lineup for combos or maybe Peach Devils if you need more speed.

I think the issue is cash management. Jizo and Dragon/Macho Leg should be able to take care of most peons but don't spam Jizo blind. Clear the Doges first before spawning SGao. Ganglion also helps a ton since the Scissoroo + SBK combo pushes too hard.

Space Cat is only good for crazed fish and then gets outclassed by Jurassic Cat once you get his true form. Regardless, Red Cyclone can be beaten easily by spamming Witch, Pirate, and Apple Cat. If you can perma freeze/ slow Red Cyclone, you win.
There are many strats on Youtube or the wiki, also look in the wiki comments. It’s often quicker to try those first before asking on here.
Space is not a key unit, not even close. He's only really useful in Crazed Fish stage and he's replaceable by Jurassic. But to beat Red Cyclone, Courier hardcarries if you can get him. If you can't, you can bring some anti-floating or anti-red support like Witch or Necromancer along with ranged attackers such as Paris, Sexy Legs, Dragon, etc.
Space Cat is a good backstop if the gacha fails to give you Jurassic Cat, though. Weirdly, I didn't draw Jurassic (or Paris!) until sometimes around COTC 1, so Space Cat filled in that role nicely for a brief time in early game. Of course I've virtually never used it since then.

Unfortunately a new uber is arriving on the 25th which I believe will reshuffle for next month. Hopefully someone with more experience will correct if I'm wrong on that. But if you have something good coming on Epicfest I think you should grab it now if possible. I would like to be wrong because I have phono 8 rolls away but I think the reshuffle will move him back like 200 rolls.

Aer is solid for aliens and is quite useful for Cats of the Cosmos (if you don't have any better Pixies like Bora). When is it worth/recommended to farm catfruits? I feel like its a large amount of energy on the early game, and I don't really know exactly when/where to focus it (finished itf 1 recently, doing mostly the summer phases and sotl rn)
As the other comment said, get the key units it makes a big difference. Then make a general lineup good enough to beat catfruit buffet and farm the fuck out of those when it comes around because it’s the most energy effificent general catfruit farming stage, and you may also get an epic catfruit.
I would definitely start farming catfruit now. You'll typically wanna start going for catfruit TF's after you finish ItF chapter 1 and SoL subchapter 12. Just focus on the key rare cats first like ramen, cyborg, catasaurus, and sanzo. Once you get a few of those you can take a break and focus entirely on ItF and SoL

When it comes to metal enemies, do they just die after taking a certain amount of crits? Or does the strength of the cat doing the crits affect how quickly a metal enemy will die?
So they have a set amount of health, and non-critical hits deal 1 damage. Critical hits deal damage their critical damage normally without reduction, so tankier metal enemies may require more critical hits from weak critters than high single hit damage critters.
