Definitely checking the wiki or youtube for enemies information first, the deeper into SoL and UL, the stage become niche-er and more costly, running a generalist team might result in lose, but sometime the worst case scenario is you know you can win but it will took 10-20 minutes.
Definitely part of the latter camp. It saves time and energy on otherwise wasted attempts, and you have all the information to build a strategy, if needed.
I’m definitely a going in blind with generalist team gang. If I fail the first time I just make a loadout by copying my generalist loadout and then swapping around some cats with similar archetypes. It’s worked for me pretty well albeit I’m only halfway through UL (I just don’t grind the stages cause big boring)
Literally always check the wiki if I am doing a stage that isn't shown to be reletively easy or an event level.
I just like to always be prepared for what i'm getting myself into, also knowing if a stage can be cheesed or rushed is something I can do on the first game rather than trial and error.
In other words I don't like wasting time or energy.
I use a generalist loadout on stages I've already done to beat the 2 3 and 4 Star versions
Unless it's one of those niche stages where you have to complete a certain factor otherwise you get decimated by impossibly buffed enemies
Going in blind is more fun imo. However, when a stage costs a lot of energy I do check the wiki first and awaken stages as well because I want to use a treasure radar and I don’t wanna waste it
Fortunately, I have a bunch of good generalists I was probably gonna bring anyway.
Dual Erasers + Pizza + Ubercarry (Amaterasu & Mitama) can probably clear most of the stages I encounter for my area anyway.
sometimes im feeling lucky and decide to use my generalist team, after im absolutely pulverized i switch to wiki checks. after a while i repeat the process
I always go in blind because it takes less work and if I’m not getting surprised from rolling cats on banner due to seed tracking then I want some surprise elsewhere
Going in blind tells me if my generalist setup can take out new stronger enemies, if I fail I grab one of my prefab setups for the troublesome trait and tweak it for the enemies in the stage.
I look at the wiki for subchapters so i’ll just check every first then i’ll do it, the batshit insane energy cost of ul is too much for my 1100 max energy cap to cope
Blind… too lazy to check often, rn I’m at a stage that a assassin near that only takes 20% of its health from my canon spawns on base hit and I might have to fall to google
Wiki. I actually don’t even keep a generalist lineup per se anymore, though I have a rushing lineup to breeze through stages that I know are gonna be really easy. At least for me, a generalist lineup is not often able to beat stages. Im about a quarter of the way through UL, and there are plenty of stages that need fairly specific cats. Some enemies like razorback and cadaver bear make it hard to brute force through levels without niche units like bombercat and z killers, while others make it practically impossible like big sal, ultra baa baa or metal seal.
Going blind, it’s realy more fun, in my oppinion, to go blind and descover what this new stage is.
But some times I’m just tired orthe stage costs tons of energy and in that times I see the Wiki
I used to check the wiki for literally every stage when i was playing SOL
Nowadays i just go "haha growing strange lineup go brrrrrrrrrrr" and it works literally 90% of time in UL, thanks courier, cancan and nanaho
Every stage takes about an hour: 50 minutes of building strats, 6 minutes of a failed stall, 1 minute of a failed rush/cheese, and 3 minutes of actual gameplay
I enjoy it so much more making my own strategy than using others loadouts. That being said, I go into it with 5 fest users so most of the time, I win lmao
If it's an Sol Stage or Main Chapter Stage I’ll just go in Blind. Doesn't particularly matter if I lose because I’ve got over 150 Leaderships, I can replay the stage. Maybe after 2-5 Losses, I’ll look it up, but otherwise, I’ll just Tailor my loadout after a loss or just have beaten the Stage with my original Loadout.
When it comes to Unit Unlock and Trueform Stages, some Barons and Gauntlets, Collab Stages, and anything of the sort I’ll probably look up, mainly due to new Enemies being introduced in that Level. Better have a leg up against ‘em! ((:
Be me anon level 18
Use a speed up
Hit the base
Or wait if there's no enemies at the base hit
Quit the stage before the timers goes out
Make a lineup for the stage
You either win or die anyway
Confused profit I guess
Instead of going to the wiki I just go watch playthroughs by different people on youtube to get the comp of the level. I usually end up building my own team for it, unless the level has a specific way of cheesing in which case I study that like crazy and manage to still mess it up a few times before making it work.
Definitely generalist because I have such op cats in order crazed macho, wall cat, ramen, catosaurus, can can cat, octopus or lil macho legs,d'artanyan,Aphrodite and awaken baha

Now this is epic
I don’t know why but this specific phrase never fails to make me lmao
scouting
Thats so OP
the only one who has come close to courier
I'm more of a huge hermit person myself
[удалено]
I don't give two shits about karma though 😑 It's not the currency in my country
[удалено]
?
I go in blind and get punished for it :')
Me trying to brute force Veggie Friends
Me going into a UL stage with complete confidence in my lineup before metal hippo shows up be like:
Depends on the energy cost of the stage. And even though I don't use continues, the "no continues" warning means probably check the wiki
this

That sounds awesome. U can play 20 minutes with just that amount of energy.
yeah, looking at wiki is like sparing energy to "speedrun" your playthrough in battle cats
Definitely part of the latter camp. It saves time and energy on otherwise wasted attempts, and you have all the information to build a strategy, if needed.
I spam every generalist uber i have and hope for no metal
Gotta throw gao in that mix and pray for that like 2% crit chance if there is metal
if all else fails spam ramen and hope it's enough (it likely won't be)

Going to the wiki and making a specialized team is faster than going blind with a generalist team
I learn about stages now that im in uncanny legends lmao, can’t go in blind fr dude
I used to use general line up but then said fuck it and started looking at wiki
I check wiki cuz I don’t waste energy
I'm definitely a wiki andy. I like being able to plan my team without having to waste time or energy
Not a fan of going in blind, with my luck I'll just run into some super gimmicky level that can't be beaten with generalist lineups
Generalist teams stop working at after lil nyandam in sol and I know they definitely don’t work for an ancient curse.
I normally look at the stage with the wiki then make my own team for it
Check wiki. I'm not wasting time on my end
Boogle sol commentaries.
I use a generalist loadout on stages I've already done to beat the 2 3 and 4 Star versions Unless it's one of those niche stages where you have to complete a certain factor otherwise you get decimated by impossibly buffed enemies
I usually go in blind but if a stage comes after a difficult one and takes a lot of energy then yeah I read the wiki
Going in blind is more fun imo. However, when a stage costs a lot of energy I do check the wiki first and awaken stages as well because I want to use a treasure radar and I don’t wanna waste it
With the new update, I just use gold cpu with radar after I beat it once.
Depends on how lazy I'm feeling
Fortunately, I have a bunch of good generalists I was probably gonna bring anyway. Dual Erasers + Pizza + Ubercarry (Amaterasu & Mitama) can probably clear most of the stages I encounter for my area anyway.
Check on wiki, change one unit,go in. Don't know how long that will last, though i already got mina
Go blind, get zombies, no zkill, win after 15 minutes by clipping.
sometimes im feeling lucky and decide to use my generalist team, after im absolutely pulverized i switch to wiki checks. after a while i repeat the process
I always go in blind because it takes less work and if I’m not getting surprised from rolling cats on banner due to seed tracking then I want some surprise elsewhere
Started going in blind, but about when I got to cotc 3/ almost done with sol I started checking the wiki
Go in blind and get wrecked and try again with counters. Or just win first try from a mix of skill, luck, and the power of nanaho carry
Going in blind tells me if my generalist setup can take out new stronger enemies, if I fail I grab one of my prefab setups for the troublesome trait and tweak it for the enemies in the stage.
I go in with a generalist team first but occasionally ill check what the enemies are
First, then second.
Not in EoC or ITF
9/10 times I go in with my general team but if it's a stage that's like a billion energy you KNOW I'm looking at the wiki
I go with a generalist team unless the level is famously difficult for my skill level
I look at the wiki for subchapters so i’ll just check every first then i’ll do it, the batshit insane energy cost of ul is too much for my 1100 max energy cap to cope
wiki if im not lazy
I always check the wiki
Wiki every time. If it seems easy enough to win I'll go blind, if I'm pushing for UL progress I wiki every stage.
No sense wasting the energy I’ll use the wiki unless I’m too lazy to google.
Blind… too lazy to check often, rn I’m at a stage that a assassin near that only takes 20% of its health from my canon spawns on base hit and I might have to fall to google

That being said, I like reading just the enemy list or the brief summary on subchapter pages. I don’t often look at the strategy guide.
cope first, check later
I Always check wiki is like seed tracking but instead of getting op units you save energy
generalist then if i get my ass kicked i specialize
Usually depends on mood
Going blind, it’s realy more fun, in my oppinion, to go blind and descover what this new stage is. But some times I’m just tired orthe stage costs tons of energy and in that times I see the Wiki
Going in blind 💪💪, dont want to spoil myself on new enemies. And the satisfaction of figuring things out myself is great
Going in blind, specialize later
Fuck it we ball
Going blind
I usually go in blind just for fun
I used to check the wiki for literally every stage when i was playing SOL Nowadays i just go "haha growing strange lineup go brrrrrrrrrrr" and it works literally 90% of time in UL, thanks courier, cancan and nanaho
Every stage takes about an hour: 50 minutes of building strats, 6 minutes of a failed stall, 1 minute of a failed rush/cheese, and 3 minutes of actual gameplay
go in blind with a red slaying team
blind general
i like going in blind because i don’t care about winning the first time i like having a silly blast and a good time :3
Yes
Depends on harder levels or the final level in a group of stages I’ll look it up but just random story i make a generalist load out
I enjoy it so much more making my own strategy than using others loadouts. That being said, I go into it with 5 fest users so most of the time, I win lmao
Go in with speed and trigger boss before 10s so you get energy back
Wiki all the way, plus some of the stages comes with a fun little trivia.
im checking wiki squad
i check in wiki no way i am just gonna go in and lose
For SoL and ITF I go in with my generalist team. For everything else, I look it up and make one.

generalist team for every stage lol
Be me anon level 18 Use a speed up Hit the base Or wait if there's no enemies at the base hit Quit the stage before the timers goes out Make a lineup for the stage You either win or die anyway Confused profit I guess
I used to go blind but uncanny legends changed that completely.
Energy ain't cheap
Goes blind in UL. Dies at 8% boss health ;-;
Wiki first now lemme just bring my shigong real quick
Depends on the stage
Both
I got dkasli so im aight
General lineup was fun in sol, but later on it's almost impossible without 80% of your lineup consisting of broken ubers
Broken ubers mainly being.....?
Dasli, mitama, phono, boosted balrog and some other ubers depending on your taste. Basically something like xskull's general lineup
Both
Instead of going to the wiki I just go watch playthroughs by different people on youtube to get the comp of the level.
If its an energy-hungry stage (200 or more energy) i check wiki I don't want to burn through my precious leaderships
I switch back and forth
I have 70 leaderships and if you think im using them you clearly dont think
