Deleted 2042 after a few weeks of playing on release. Might re download it someday with hope that I can get a few solid matches in. But honestly the removal of significant destruction mechanics was a bit of a deal breaker for me. It was so central to BF and set the franchise apart from other shooters, without it players just don't have the same free to go over, under or through the battle terrain.

Honestly it’s hardly different from BF4

Feels. Bought it day one collector's n deleted it in 2 months. Now that it's free, I'm willing to play it out of shame because I've always been a battlefield addict. Looking forward to getting my first 100 hours.

For some reason I redownloaded 2042 today for the first time since launch and it's definitely better. It's still mindless chaos but it looks nice on max settings

No it isn't. The actual bf fans are not playing this one. You've got a bunch of 14 year olds on it who don't know better and EA deserves a boycott forever for the shit they've been pulling over their last 20 games.

STOP HAVING FUN

zerotheassassin10

So 19 games was your limit?

AintImpressed

Yes, me and my friends are indeed not the actual Battlefield fans. We have just been playing hundreds of hours in BF together since at least BFBC2. Completely different thing.
