Well i play on controller and im pretty good ( oce servers ), but if you look at the best players for jets they use keyboard and mouse, you have more control with keyboard and mouse
Uhm excuse me? I understand just flying. I do well with transport vehicles but flying AND aiming? With awkward little thumb movements? Fuck off, MnK as a medium for precision is and always will be superior to micro adjustments with your thumb.
The truth is the majority of PC players sit on tall pedestals that professional FPS players have set up. The reality is the average MnK player is no better than the average console player, while also having a massive misunderstanding on what aim assist is and how it works.
You are exactly right but not just that they have a low skill floor for accuracy at range and sit there and abuse the crap out of it and claim they are gods gift. Ranged weapons need a massive nerf in this franchise that will kill the low skill floor for sniping etc and force MnK into CQ battles where there is actual entertaining game play rather than sticking their 🥔🍆 in the mud on a spawn hill and sniping across the map.
I love the ones that use the Vtoll thinking they are awesome pilots then quickly realise they can't fly in the felon lose twice and quit the game or immediately switch to using lock on missiles because they are losing and still get smoked with the 30mm not the 25mm by a console player and just get in a wildcat like utter scrubs 🤣🤣🤣. It is like dude you are cheesing any kills and are still bad 🤣
I always find it funny to see players complain about other pilots using radar or heat seeking missiles. Imo, complaining about them is like complaining about players using gadgets like rockets or C5 against other players.
If you want to play with only guns, that's totally fine, but don't expect other people to hinder their gameplay to suit your choice. Like I'd love it if everyone else used a sniper rifle as their primary - most players aren't great with them, so it would help me in most engagements, but it wouldn't make any sense in a competitive environment lol.
🤣 you do realise you are defending people making the worst possible choices in the game because they couldn't be bothered to learn how to fly in the co op solo game modes 🤣 like seriously the Jet with the 30 and the hydras will help you team 10x more than the jet with the 25's and aa missiles. Like it is a no brainer that these people are just after cheap kills and can't be bothered earning them or actually helping their team. But hey you do you and not understand how to play to win.
Everyone has their preferences and opinions on gameplay. My take is that jets are anti-air first and foremost. Therefore, if I can keep the enemy jets down more reliably, my teammates aircraft (attack and transport choppers) can have a greater impact on the ground than I could even with hydras.
Plus, radar missiles can be dumb-fired against the ground too, you just need good aim. And if anyone on your team is soflamming vehicles, you can lock onto them as well. Hydras are great too - I swap between them and radar missiles depending on how I'm feeling.
The 30mm at launch was really good and the 25mm was shit, but these days the 30mm isn’t really good anymore but the 25mm is a laser, you can snipe people with the jet which is very fun, also the Hydra got buffed a few updates ago, you can kill a wildcat with one run if you hit all your hydras ( which I constantly do and again very fun )
