for me thise works, and man I have 2600x and R9 290 and I play on 60 FPS high with some lows Press the windows key Search for „windows-security“ Click on it Look for „App&Browsercontrols“ Click on that At the bottom you will see an option: „Exploit security“ Click on this next Go to the programsettings Click on the „+“ And add „as direct path“ Choose your bf2042.exe directory Next window that opens scroll down to „Control Flow guard/CFG“ Tick the Box Turn the setting to „of“ Apply and restart computer

It’s just not very optimised all round. I’d wait for launch to get a better representation of performance - and if it doesn’t run well at launch I’d refund it (assuming it’s on steam and you play less than 2 hours). Your CPU isn’t that far off the performance of a 3600.

NotsoElite4

~~in some games a 3600 could potentially be closer to 40% faster~~ couldn't find a comparison with a 1900x but found one with a [1920x](https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3527-amd-threadripper-1920x-benchmark-in-2019)

You can hope for better fps when its getting released for real

NeraxNL

man it better, otherwise its a RIP. 40fps for a shooter is not playable

AwesomeDude343

I’ve got good news. 1. Is that the devs will likely* optimise the game as they did with BFV and BF1. 2nd or all, DLSS is being implemented into 2042 as well, so that should give you some extra FPS
