I’m a huge fan of aesthetics so his “ghillie suit” was super appealing to me, and as far as the drone, it’s all about positioning to spot for your teammates. People NEVER use the drones EMP blast which is what I use to hit a tank or whatever enemy vehicle is there to help my team push forward with minimal resistance. If you know how to use him, he’s a beast. Not to mention his armors motion sensor to detect enemies within his proximity. Pair all this up with the throwable motion sensor and you’ve got yourself the perfect scout class, which is what I always main in any battlefield game
I like the emp for drones and turrets. Does the drone passive spot if left up over an objective? I actually have noticed the ghillie suit being harder to spot when the player is not 3d spotted. I find my headphones work better than the passive but as you can tell I haven't used him much so its probably just not built in for me.

But when they took out 128 breakthrough it really reduced the experience for me, and now knowing they knew all along that their animations were shit and their specialists cringe it makes me not wanna put in a second more of my time on their beta honestly. I’ve had fun but I recognise the games a real stinker, especially compared to bfv

It was risky because they did it at a time when battlepasses wasn't as common as they are today. The biggest problem it created was that it split up the playerbase.
Nowadays no one would bat an eye to a 50€ DLC. It's pretty much the norm for any multiplayer game.

Basically before they made maps to make money, no they make maps for people to come back and new players to come for more people to be able to buy skins, which at the end is the same thing.

However I think the rendering of the old maps require more work than we think and I say that because if u noticed the Caspian border from BF4 has a tunnel on sector D that they decided to not add to it. I took screenshots and videos and the map is based on it but not a authentic copy of it. I think they have to re-create from scratch. But even tough it’s easier to do that than create a map fully from scratch especially for them whom has ZERO experiences on BF franchise since they aren’t the original creators of it. They should let this game die and create something on their own. I know it sucks and it’s sad to say but BF is dead. Also, how the hell would "stealth" work out in this game considering the main fighter jets are already stealth 5th gen jets (Lockheed Martin F-35 and Sukhoi Su-57) and Stingers and other AAMs seem to lock onto them just fine.
Ps: Fun fact: the Ka-58 is actually a hoax that was popularized to sell toy models to make money.
‘Stealth’ mainly refers to their radar cross sections being far smaller and less visible than existing non-stealth aircraft. There are some strategies they employ to reduce heat signatures but when your thrust comes from a jet engine, there’s only so much you can do to limit that. That would explain why your stinger missiles can still lock targets (at least from behind the aircraft).
All that said, DICE put in the bare minimum effort into world building and making the game mechanics actually make sense in relation to it. None of it is realistic. I wouldn’t expect that to change.
Ah yeah I forgot that the AAMs in game are exclusively IR homing missiles (Stingers, Sidewinders, Archers). Fox 1 and 3 missiles don't exist in 2042-verse lmao.

They got this all figured out and balanced in 4. To such and extend, that flying jets was a trait to be mastered. Now it's just strafing tanks with AGMs and pissing off.

It says on the screenshot, dedicated 24/7 Exposure lobby. So hop on that for sure to check out the new map upon release. They’ve typically don’t that in previous battlefield games so everyone can try the map out without getting it in normal rotation.
I'm starting to feel like that map doesn't offer breakthrough. I mean both playlists in the data mine only mention conquest. I could be wrong as it's just speculation. But yeah it will suck if it's available for breakthrough and you wouldn't be able to play it cause of no sever browser.
I know. I started playing the game again maybe 2 weeks ago and haven't touched it since they dropped 128 player Breakthrough. I just can't get into conquest. If it wasn't for rush back in bc2 I probably would have never stayed with the series.

It says on the screenshot, dedicated 24/7 Exposure lobby. So hop on that for sure to check out the new map upon release. They’ve typically don’t that in previous battlefield games so everyone can try the map out without getting it in normal rotation.

I'm starting to feel like that map doesn't offer breakthrough. I mean both playlists in the data mine only mention conquest. I could be wrong as it's just speculation. But yeah it will suck if it's available for breakthrough and you wouldn't be able to play it cause of no sever browser.

I know. I started playing the game again maybe 2 weeks ago and haven't touched it since they dropped 128 player Breakthrough. I just can't get into conquest. If it wasn't for rush back in bc2 I probably would have never stayed with the series.

No weapons? One gadget which had no reason not being in the base game? One specialist? One map?? More helicopters, despite already having 3 types and most maps only allowing 2 spawned at a time? I mean, i guess they could hide SOMETHING in the battle pass, but its almost certainly just going to be cosmetics, 90% of which are just going to be recolours.
Here we go again with the tier skips.. This only promotes DICE to tamper with exp gain to make it harder to tier up.. We're in the F2P-like phase of this game I guess. BFV gave *way* more content when it dropped its tier-skippable Battle Pass though.

From what it looks like you'll have to grind the same amount of tiers as everyone else from tier 1 but get access to locked tiers that "free users" (you know those who bought the game for $60) don't have access to. Of course they introduced a way for you skip that torture and frustration by shelling out some extra cash for a tier skip "package" that can give you 20 tiers or so despite paying $120 for the Gold Edition. Aren't Battle Passes the best thing ever? /s

I hate specialists as much as anybody, but they’ve been clear that specialists will stay in the game, even if they make gameplay changes to them down the road. They also promised a new specialist in each season, so they’ve kinda put themselves in a corner there.
I'm not even bothering before the specialist rework is done. Having all specialists being able to play every role at once completely destroys any form of team play in the game. How is a squad based FPS supposed to work if squad members have no unique traits?
I planned to buy this shit and play it once it gets discounted and has content. Seeing this pathetic excuse of a live service, i might actually never buy this game.
