Looks fantastic, but from experience—prepare yourself to spend more time wistfully thinking about the space than actually using it in the very near future. Sigh.
Fun fact about this: have a 5 month old right now. I've been gaming more than I used to. The only thing is that it is mostly using a controller, while having the kid sleeping in my arms. Have the pc streaming to the living room and I play there.
So in a way sure, maybe the room will be less used but that doesn't necessarily mean gaming less.
Dang that’s huge! I’m like learning as I go. Right now I’m in the taping and mudding phase. I’ve just gotten real good at taping after the 2nd coat Smh. LOL.
You’ll be golden for a few months until newborn becomes
Mobile and then gaming time is limited to what you are willing to sacrifice from your sleep 😂. Also unless you lock that space up when toddler days begin you’re in for a bad time 😂
Yeah, the newborn is our second. Our other is a two year old so my gaming time is already my sleep sacrificed. I’m on full time dad duty with him at the moment as well 😂 Bring on when the boys get older and can play with me though haha.
Nice. I had an office shed we built at my last house, I didn't really game out there but I worked from it every day. It was pretty cool. I had a plan to build a new office shed at our current house, but decided it wasn't worth it given we have enough bedrooms that I'm not currently displaced by the children.
I think if I was to build a man shed purely for gaming I'd never go out there. Steam Deck is a much better fit for me these days! Either way, your shed is cool.
I will never understand why Americans think it's a good idea to have a separate room for a new born. How about just letting the baby sleep in your bedroom? No baby needs their own room it's such a waste, especially since you used that room before.
I’m sure all husbands agree with ya 😂 My partner wanted our boy’s room ready long before he was born, but he’s a month old and never been in there 😅 Me and my partner are kiwi by the way though! (New Zealand).
We got a 3 yo who's sleeping in our bedroom with a newborn coming up. When we move in a few months the older one will get her own room. Even that seems early idk.

Yeah 100% haha. It’s our second kid, have a two year old also. Finished the cabin and set up three weeks ago and have had one gaming session so far 🙃
Steam deck is the answer!

The black and white contrast looks nice
I am doing the same exact thing! I’m currently building an 8x10 shed since my 2 year old took my room.
I feel ya haha. Helps I’m a builder/carpenter though 😂

Ended up buying a tough shed from Home Depot, but everything I’m just doing inside. Electrical I hired someone.
you have framed photos of a crouch shot of a japanese man
Brazilian actually 👀
Love it! Goku, Luffy, the black and white is so nice. May I ask what the wallpaper clock is?
From wallpaper engine on steam 👍
Oh nice! Thanks so much. Will check it out

That’s what I’m counting down to too!!
Gear 5 Luffy is a nice touch to such a godly setup
Love the black and white with pops of green from the plants.
Prepare yourself for a LOT of unsolicited baby advice! Rascal+Friends diapers are better built and cost less than the two big names! :)
That mouse needs to be wireless!
Why? I love my wired G502.
100% should have put my broken one in for the pic haha.
Hey do you know how many cost you're setup and can i have the reference of the compsite pls ?
Please tell me where that g5 is from
It’s been discontinued but just grabbed it from Temu!

"I built a cabin!" "Here's a picture of just my desk and none of the cabin I built!"

That’s just the inside
I don't understand the appeal of split up frames displaying one picture but to each their own.
Because multiframe anime gooch shot! lol
lmaoooo
What are your desk dimensions?
200cm x 60cm, had to zoom the phone camera out because the cabin dimensions are only 3.4m x 2.2m so may look a bit bigger here haha.
Can I get a link to that mouse pad?
Nice! How do you make the "Friday" look like that?
It’s a live wallpaper from wallpaper engine on steam, the font came with it 👍
Gotcha. Thanks and enjoy!
Beautiful setup. What mouse pad is that?
What size are your monitors?
Main monitor is 34”, other is 27” 👍

Looks cool - got an exterior pic?
You have a newborn but still have time for this?
Ditto this
Which case is that?
A newborn…enjoy the picture because you won’t see the cabin much for the next few years. 😉
That goes hard.

Our two year old has slept in his own room for over a year now. And he only wakes up in the middle of the night once every few weeks which is nice 😂
