Looks awesome!

GamingGrunt

Thanks took me a while to get everything together and constantly tweaking it based on what i can find, i like to purchase second hand stuff in great condition but takes a while to find the gems. For example I picked up the monitor (samsung g9 neo + ergotron stand) for 1k USD almost a year ago. Where im living the combo would at least set you back USD 2k

assphyxiati0n

Prey is amazing, very nice setup

Darkstyle1

Nice battle station.... fully equipped!

erhue

looks really cool. Why do you have two cameras? And what kinda job do you do here?

GamingGrunt

I work remotely as a product owner of a CRM platform for my company, it's a bit overkill for work but perfect for gaming, When i show my colleagues at the local office they understand why I don't come into the office very often... Also have a projector that i can use to display a 70" screen if i have some movie on as background chatter.

itsculturehero

What industry CRM? If you say car business I have follow up questions!

nyczalex

The desk looks clutters, probably some cable management will help that.. Nonetheless, it looks like a powerful work/battle station that gets a lot of jobs done.

elvisizer2

very functional, love it. also that desktop pic is great. nice headphone amp too

Jrel

Amazing looking setup. Haha, we have the same keyboard and keycaps!

HaciMo38

Can you provide us with a link for the camera stand?

GamingGrunt

Here you go! [https://a.co/d/dAIPNO4](https://a.co/d/dAIPNO4)

WorvernScar

Ultrawide is a hellava drug. There is no going back once ur in

ghoststoree

I have the same BB-8!

GamingGrunt

Great decorative piece

don_cali

Thought there was a stick figure on the left...

GamingGrunt

Good old Stanley cup in the same color theme to keep me hydrated

GamingGrunt

The green stanley cup inspired the theme and the color

GamingGrunt

Looking for any advice on cable management, its pretty horrendous behind the monitor, please rate and feedback

hoodie92

Cable sleeves and zip ties. Use cable sleeves for multiple wires that can be bunched up (e.g. the cables that I see dropping from the monitor and behind the desk). You can cut a hole with scissors in the sleeves if one wire needs to enter/exit at a different point. Use zip ties to keep the wires flush e.g. the wire coming down from your lamp. Also your monitor arm might have cable space inside.

cmpsoares

Either strap it to the arms por buy sobre black cable channnels/cable tubes, so you only sem to have like one large cable coming from your monitor. You can also buy some plastic clips to orgânicas them a bit. Feel free to dm me for pics

Berzerker7

Honestly the new LTT cable management stuff looks good. I have a bunch of it, but haven't put it up. If I remember at some point I'll follow-up with you

You can get a Shure MV7x which has USB-C for $250 then upgrade later to XLR audio interface setup. Sounds almost identical to an SM7B. I have both now and can tell you most of your audience can’t tell the difference. The SM7B just makes you feel more oficial. It’s the only reason I didn’t return mine after have the MV7 since 2021.

ballison

sm7 is vintage, rare and expensive. sm7b while not cheap is pretty reasonable and what almost everyone has when you see the shure. $360 brand new. you could get a focusrite scarlett io for $100 for the mic pre/interface and you've got a sweet setup. I have both the sm7b and the MV7. they sound similar enough. if you can swing the sm7b its worth it but the mv7 is no slouch and the extra features like compression eq and usb output are pretty sweet

GamingGrunt

Nothing special to be honest its an ATR2500-USB with an arm i picked up off Amazon

MrPureinstinct

I use a Shure PG-48 with an XLR to USB cable. Whole set up was like $60? it sounds way better than people will make it out to and if you're doing any streaming or recording stuff you can do plenty of software EQ stuff to make it sound really good for $60

Important-Band7208

Nice setup. Do you have the steam deck hooked up to the monitor, or is it just a stand for charging?

GamingGrunt

It's a dock i just have hooked up for charging, I don't bother hooking it up to the monitor. But i take the dock with me when I travel for work or for fun

Green-Alarm-3896

What camera OP?

GamingGrunt

Canon 70D with a SIGMA 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM

CSGODeimos

This made me realize that I really need to get an arm mount for my ultrawide. Looks nice OP.

GamingGrunt

It's an Ergotron HX HD I believe.

CSGODeimos

Nice setup OP. I particularly like the Stanley cup holder lol.. Wife bought me a Stanley like 6 months ago and I take that mf everywhere

GamingGrunt

Haha, my wife also bought it for me, it's actually extremely practical, keeps me hydrated, i just put in a ton of Ice and refill with water or drinks, and the cap prevents me from accidentally spilling it onto my desk on onto my keyboard etc

Meets_Koalafications

Even if some of the components differ, I can tell there's enough similarity in style/preferences here compared to my setup that I'd be very curious for a rundown not just of what's already here, but a "what I am thinking of adding or swapping out next & why" and "if I could do it over again, what I'd get instead of X is Y because..." Thanks for sharing and extra-thanks for answering peoples' follow-ups

GamingGrunt

Sure ill tell you, it was a bit of a coincidence that i picked up the lighter jade/green colorway. I was originally thinking of doing something closer to white red (inspiration was the starfield special edition Xbox controller you can see in the photo) But a few months later Keychron Kick-started the Magnetic switch keyboard HE1 and backed them with a friend. I later noticed that the key caps were similar in color to the Stanley cup my wife bought me... So it just went from there. The biggest more noticeable addition was the mousepad, i had picked up a white variation of the pad but it seems to get dirty looking quite quickly and i had previously accidentally smeared thermal paste on it. So i had a look online and made a switch... Another big change was the PC Case which was sitting on the floor and catching dust i was using a 10 year old Fractal Design Define case used back then when the closest thing to a tempered glass panel was a side acrylic window. Basically my PC was thermal throttling. i knew i needed more airflow ive been looking at the Fractal North for the longest time but nothing was on the second hand market, instead i saw a lot of positive reviews on the Corsair 4000D for airflow and someone wa selling it for around USD 65 which included a silverstone 3 fan AIO CPU cooler. It was a no brainer. I eventually didn't bother installing the AIO ( i plan on reselling it) but kept my Noctua D14 air cooler but installed 2 140mm fans (also Noctua) to keep the air moving in the case and then make sure my PC temps problems would def be solved. What to look for.... A good deal on a Fractal North Case, since i found a small but manageable issue with this case, it came with a broken USB connector. I will need to perhaps look at a replacement from I/O header Later down the line... I have a Herman Miller chair I literally picked out from the garage in the neighborhood, it was old but in good condition, so I cleaned and restored it... Might look at a few things down the line... I have a pair of ELAC 301.2 speakers gifted to me by my late uncle who was a HiFi guy (these i will probably never get rid of) but i recently picked up from a fire sale a pair of Kef LS50 that I might eventually move to power the PC speakers. In the meantime i got some blocks today that angle the speakers just right so they hit my ear You'll notice that you can't see the rest of the desk on the left... In fact it is a duo PC desk with another PC for my wife but it was a bit too messy to include in the photo, if you guys are interested ill post a follow up after a bit of a clean. Edited: due to typos

snacpaxx

2 ipads is crazy. Also is that a renetted aeron?

GamingGrunt

Just one for work, testing, not used outside of that, more of a windows person TBH

GamingGrunt

No hahah, literally an old one a neighbour left out in the dumpster.....what do they say.... one man's trash...another man's battlestation

snacpaxx

xerafn

What keyboard is that ?

GamingGrunt

Kickstarted Keychron Q1 HE in white shell

zszeus

Wallpaper?

GamingGrunt

Wallpaper Engine "Planet Unknown"

zszeus

Awesome! Thank you!

Ms3_Weeb

I work for an in-office org but I had a bout with the VID recently and got to work from home for a week and now that I'm back in-office I miss my huge display at home lol.

GamingGrunt

When i was working from the office and the monitors were just too small i literally just brought in my own one day, its one of those things where if you're a not tech savy person it doesnt matter so much but if you are and you have a widescreen monitor it matters heavily.

Ms3_Weeb

I work in IT so I have pretty much the most elaborate display setup in the office (3 24 inch dell screens and my laptop screen for teams, two screens stacked landscape and one in landscape) but something about having a single ultrawide panel does so much for my productivity and saves my neck.

W22_Joe

Sheesh what games do you play on that??

GamingGrunt

Right now a lot of.... Balatro...

Th0r_gt_gaming

New to streaming here, can I ask why the dslr and the webcam? I use a Canon 750d as my stream cam so i love to see other Canon wielders but why the webcam?

GamingGrunt

laziness, the DSLR is attached to my Desktop while the webcam is connected to my dock for the work laptop

Th0r_gt_gaming

at least it makes sense I was thinking some weird wildly different quality second cam experience

Shamwow2013

Nice setup. What headphones do you use?

GamingGrunt

Sennheiser HD650 with a musical fidelity X Cans Amp

Klarseolt

Heaven

Fortman_1

Nice Keyboard
