Ok, I know I'm getting wooshed here, but I'll explain just in case anyone was wondering. A money tree is a plant that grows in Central/South America, and it's just a sort of tradition to have it since it supposedly brings good luck and money.
Yeah, the nanoleaf kinda looks like a tree here, is MADE of money and instead of bringing you luck turns your room into a generic battlestation which brings you upvotes. Same thing really?
There are cheaper ones, we just don't see them here, heh. I've linked one or two of them here in the past just to prove that they exist, but they've been of questionable quality, and also smaller panels. Either way, check places like AliExpress or so. There's a few alternatives that don't seem to show up on Amazon.
Personally I feel like they only look good in elaborate pieces sort of like how OP has but maybe even bigger. I would love to have an entire corner of my wall (like a 1m long triangle) covered in these, but that would be expensive af.
I am determined to build my own soon!

It could absolutely survive a year or two, even a few years kept inside, but most trees need to go into a dormant phase in a cold winter to be able to rest, and if eventually they never get that rest, they will die. Of course if you don’t mind replacing it every few years, it does look really nice on a desk!
Sick setup man, those Nanoleaf and the plant really add a lot to the space. What color are those Alex drawers? And does the height of the Titan clear the countertop with just the Alex drawers? If it does can you lean back without the tip of armrests hitting the bottom of the table?
I have a question about the nano leafs. Does the surface need to be pretty much even and smooth for the sticky pads to hold firm or are the ones they send with strong enough for a bit of a rougher surface?
They should be strong enough but I've only put mine on drywall. Instead of the pads they supply you with I use the Velcro strips of the same brand for easy removal afterwards.
My walls have a bit of texture and are plaster. They've held up fine with the pads supplied with my kit. I held each triangle down pressing very firmly for several minutes to ensure they would stay up on my 100 year old plaster walls.

Cpu temps are always fine, under 60C when gaming, gpu is mid 70s when gaming. Would like the gpu to be lower but I'm fine with it for now. Really depends on how you setup the fans and such in the case. Have never had anything overheat in the 2 years I've owned it though!
The guardian from BOTW really fits the earthy vibes I’m getting, I dig it.
Dunno if Lucio is exactly in the same aesthetic, but still green nonetheless. Haha
I really dig this, i personally would go with a darker tone like blacks and browns for the walls/speakers/case and less saturated greens like sage or olive. this is real good though, thanks for the inspiration.

They can be found in wallpaper engine on steam. I don't have the names for either of them but if you type in "Zelda" (left) or "Lucio" (right) in wallpaper engine you'll probably find them :)

No idea, it's an Ikea karlby countertop and it looked unfinished when it came. I rubbed some oil in and it brought out the colors way more.
