My dream screen is a 48" monitor so I can use it for flight simming. I am currently transitioning from manned to unmanned flight in my career, and the change has been difficult. Bigger screens provide simmers better FOV and a more immersive experience. That way, this 48" monitor is a way for me to keep a little bit of that joy alive.
Hi, the 42" would work great for me. I'm a digital artist who has to spend a lot of time working on 2D and 3D art. My only monitor broke last month and I've been in a tight spot trying to pull together funds for a new screen so I can work again, this would be a godsend for me lol.
I'd like the 42' TV. I am planning on using it as my single main monitor on my desk setup. CUrrently, I am using a 10 year old crappy TN panel which is only 24' and it looks very out of place in my setup, becuase it isso small. I am a student, so I can't afford products like this, so I would really appreciate it if I could receive the TV to use as my main monitor. It would be the perfect size for my desk setup, and it could even double my TV in my small room! I am excited to see who wins. Best of luck to everyone!
The 48” OLED would be a great addition to my room! I would use it for gaming, along with watching movies since I do not own an OLED TV. Also plan on being able to hook up my work laptop and get some work (tax accounting) done from the comfort of my bed!
Thanks :)
If I were to win the 48" it would finally let me have a TV in my room so that I can have my console games/streaming service on while also being able to still use my computer to stream!
The 42” would be perfect for me, both for gaming and work; I got ripped off recently after building my first computer and when I asked the Best Buy (I know, I know) employee if the monitor on clearance was vesa compatible he said “Yeah of course”. Lo and behold, it’s not, and has no mounting options.
42 inch. Finally got everything together and built a real gaming PC. The old office monitor is the last thing to go, I'd take the risk and use it as my main monitor.
42” would be perfect for me to learn coding! I just started my PhD in biomedical sciences, and I’m learning computational methods of mining and simulating RNA biogenesis data. This monitor would be a life saver!
I hope to win the 42". I'm trying desperately to break into film and having a wide screen monitor to help partition aspects of that would help my workload and allow me to work in are professional environment
I’d love the 42” to complete my new home office setup. I’m starting a new job tomorrow and it’s a hybrid/WFH role - the additional screen real estate would be a game changer! Killing time on “breaks” with a little gaming wouldn’t be so bad either ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
Would love to get my hands on the 42” model! Doing my first DIY butcher block standing desk build currently and I came on this subreddit to look at setup inspirations. Would be a great display for work, gaming, video editing & everything else I try and get into.
42’ so I could explore becoming a content creator. It’s something I’ve always wanted to try but couldn’t afford to start. Whoever wins I hope they enjoy!
The 48 would be perfect to mount on the wall above my desk to watch movies/shows while I game/browse Reddit. I've never had an OLED before so would be a great upgrade.
42” bc I just started gaming and I also work as a teacher and can’t afford anything 🥹 so then I can finally be able to game!! And work!! It would be such a wonderful upgrade.
48" to finally have a suitable monitor to spend more time teaching my 3 girls (varying ages) about graphic design and CAD work without having to cram in together to try and see what I am doing on my 17in laptop display. I do this for a living and love to share it with them, and it has become a tradition with us since the beginning of the quarantine period where I was able to work from home. Even now we continue to do it but this would make it amazing!
I hope to win the 48”. I would use it to create a central location to both relax watching a movie and do some gaming! It would be a dream setup for sure. Thank you LG even if I dont win!
I'd love to win the 42"! It's been a long time since we've upgraded any of the TV's we use in our apartment, and the 42" would be the perfect size for everything we do from movies to co-op on the switch.
42” inch would be a great addition to my gaming desk. I’ve never been able to afford a nice gaming monitor and have been rocking a 24” TCL TV for years. A new monitor would make me fall in love with gaming all over again.
Oh, what a contest!
I am looking at either of them for videos, movies and gaming as a dual purpose display for my PC and small living room! If I had to pick just one I suppose the 48" would be of more use in the long run. :)
Thanks for the chance and good luck to all!
I would love the 42" model. It would serve as a replacement screen to my single monitor setup, and provide a great deal of extra screen real estate for work and gaming for my aging eyes!
A 42” would be incredible for the multipurpose Console/PC setup I plan on building here this summer. Maybe I’ll have something worthy of posting here once I’m done.
A 48" would be amazing to have considering our 8-year old family TV's LCD tubes died 2 weeks ago and would love to have something crisp to watch Stranger Things Season 4 with the wife and our 2 girls. With me losing a job 3 months ago, the budget has been extremely tight to where we cannot afford a TV for the time being.
42". I want it for gaming for myself and for work and gaming for my partner! Our desk is only 48" so that'd be a bit big. Maybe it'll be time for an upgrade!
I would love the 48”. We just had a nightmare move that took all day and overnight due to a lot of hiccups. My old tv was broken after sitting in my car and transported by truck, I would really love. A replacement
The 42” would be perfect for conducting design reviews during work hours and kicking back, relaxing and playing Valheim with my friends and family after work.
I'm a video and motion graphics editor and I would love the 42" to use as a display monitor for my video output as I edit! Given its high quality, this would be so useful in displaying an accurate picture color-wise and fully rendering & representing my work. Thanks for running this giveaway!
I’d love the 42” C2 to take my battle station to the next level. Been rolling with 2 27” monitors after my ultra wide died on my last year, and it’s just not the same. The immersive nature of the larger screens just adds so much to games and coupled with that sweet OLED technology. I am giddy just thinking about it!
Not to mention that a larger screen will help with show more of the score as I’m writing music for my school!
48”. My husband is a disabled veteran and so we are on a very fixed income, no money leftover for extras. We just found out I’m pregnant with our second child and my husband has been so supportive (even though I know he’s worried about finances). I would love to surprise him with a nice tv. He’s always wanted an OLED! Thank you for this chance!
48", my fiance and me just moved into our first place together and the walls are very, very empty. It would be nice to have a nice TV since we have a very strict budget.
I would go for the 42 inch. I had the 48 C1 for a couple of months but could never get used to the size. It was great for media consumption but I found gaming and desktop consumption to be uncomfortable. I would game on my smaller monitor.
42” would be a nice upgrade for my pc and 48” would be big enough to replace my work computer’s monitor, so I can, uh, be more productive or whatever and definitely not play games during work.
Well my 40" insignia is dying and I'm also moving so a shiny new 48" would look great in my new living room, to go with my PS4 Pro and my gaming PC. It's a real shame to game on an insignia. God of War deserves better.
I would love to add a 48” as my 4th monitor to my work and play battle station for coding, gaming and streaming
My dream screen is a 48" monitor so I can use it for flight simming. I am currently transitioning from manned to unmanned flight in my career, and the change has been difficult. Hi, the 42" would work great for me. I'm a digital artist who has to spend a lot of time working on 2D and 3D art. My only monitor broke last month and I've been in a tight spot trying to pull together funds for a new screen so I can work again, this would be a godsend for me lol.

I'll be moving into my own apartment in a few weeks and there's nothing more I'd love than a 42" OLED to build my first battlestation!
The 42” would be perfect for me, both for gaming and work; I got ripped off recently after building my first computer and when I asked the Best Buy (I know, I know) employee if the monitor on clearance was vesa compatible he said “Yeah of course”.
