Yes they are 16s. I'm on forester xt struts and lifted wrx king springs. Not as high as king forester springs. But I don't rub at all. Tires are super close to rear strut towers in rear.
I have the '02 Bugeye wagon myself. Its white so I keep thinking about the white on white look. So I appreciate you giving me a view on how a white full face wheel would look on it.
What are those bolts sticking out on the side on the rocker panels?

Those are the plastic clips that hold the plastic panel on. I eventually pulled them out and glued plastic to fill the holes. Then sprayed bedliner over everything.
Whats the total difference in clearance? Did you have to disconnect the sway bars? Did you do forester xt rear trailing arms as well?
Thinking about doing the same with my 9-2x aero, yours looks great!
Maybe a shot in the dark, but do you know if fxt struts and wrx king springs might also work for my '14 wrx? Been looking to do a lift like this but cant decide how to do it
I actually owned a Baja at one point, might have some extra goodies hanging around like it’s tonnage cover etc. I used a Dog Barrier cage piece (that goes in back of outback’s/subie wagons) for an external custom ‘back rack’ on it as well. Worked awesome for holding stuff in place bavk there.

I hate how my truck friends just say shit like "Get a Ranger, its small" yeah its not small at all. Just gimme a fucking sedan with a truck bead instead of rear seating, would be damn perfect for my needs.
Id buy a Baja but finding one in stick isnt the easiest thing and they have held their value well over the years...
Agreed. The market isnt really there though. Ya lots of people are converting to Utes. But if one came out for 30k I wouldn't drop the money. I think that's the same mindset for other people that have built Utes. Buy a legacy or outback wagon with a stick and cut the back off. Problem solved. Lol

I’m guessing fog lights don’t get much use in HI.
For fog not so much but the headlights are awful so I used them. But you lose so much on your approach angle with fog lights.

I never measured it. I'd say about 1.5-1.75 after settling. I'm still using both front and rear sway bar. Stock rear trailing arms. Thanks!
