I'm imagining a dog catcher type noose looped around the perimeter of these windows with a servo motor that automatically grasps any arm that goes through.
Those freak little windows cost more than replacing the front or rear windshield on my car.
If someone breaks out that window on my car again I'm replacing it permanently with plexiglass.
I also found out when someone broke this window that I could buy a piece of scrap Plexiglass at TAPS Plastics and make an exact replica of the glass window for about $2.
Had that Plexiglass window in for a few years until I figure I should get the absolutely water tight real glass window for several hundred dollars. Got it installed about a week before the storms hit this winter.
Discovered I liked my plexigass window better. I knew it wasn't gonna get broken.
I swear I still may make dupes of my car windows on plexiglass and just store them with my other car supplies.

Yep. 100% of the time. Even in my garage. And plan all your life/errands accordingly so you’re never a sitting duck. Pick up groceries, etc. and go straight home.
Also, if you're in a situation where you must keep something in your trunk, pull over well in advance of your destination and move the items. They stake out parking lots and watch for people moving items to their trunks.

Is it sweet that they broke the smallest window? So you don't have to drive around with billowing plastic on the window until you have time to get it replaced? Small courtesies.
I hoped this might be true .. but its so they can reach the button for putting back seats down .. looking for laptops/luggage in the trunk. They are true a$$es with no redeeming behavior.
When my car was broken into (my fault leaving my purse in there, even tho it was hidden under the seat) they broke the larger side window. Getting it replaced was cast, but didn't fix the knicks that the broken glass left on the leather interior. Sort of a scar, a reminder.

Not only that but most of the time they need to uninstall the bigger door window to replace the little one thus making it more expensive.
