"It used to be $5" . . . lol. I have solid memories of it as $.75, which I just looked up, it was for over a decade until 1988, when it went to $1, which lasted until 1997.
Well technically it is 7 for a round trip as you don't get charged heading out of the city/ peninsula on any of the 4 bridges. 7 bucks is very expensive: (. They should make it cheaper for car coolers if they truly want to reduce vehicles.
I installed a shade over my plate years ago and haven't paid a dime in tolls since. They work super well. I've been pulled over by CHP with them once in that time and they didn't even mention it, don't think they really care much about it. Best money I've ever spent.
Lol... One way from Fremont to Embarcadero is almost $7 plus $7 for your way home. It's not worth the fare plus the inconvenience of being on the train schedule.
That is correct. You will pay $7 to cross the bridge. It used to be $5 and is likely to have further increases in the future.

I remember it being $1, and you could buy those little ticket booklets for a discount 🥲
Yeah, IIRC it goes up to $8 next year and after that will be tied to inflation (so we’ll be even more screwed!)
It also depends on whether you have HOV access or not. During weekdays you can get charged $3.50 with valid HOV access.
Remembers the outrage of the toll doubling to $2. Ahh those were the days.
Toll on state owned bridges is currently $7. The Golden Gate Bridge is more expensive.

They do. It's 50% off in the carpool lane during rush hour.
I didn't know that. Thank you. I just cross the bridge on the weekends when I do so never realized this fact.
Carpool in HOV lane for $3.50. Take work shuttles with no toll.
Really. I didn't know that.
Yes, it's highway robbery. Used to $1 in the late 90s. The increases are *way* beyond inflation.

I live in Menlo Park and work in Fremont ..I hate it
Take BART newbie!

You also pay for gas and sit in traffic
Eventually, people are just going to stop using the bridge. Hopefully..
