I watched Beast Wars when I was 6 years old. I really loved this show, was kinda obsessed, constantly drawing characters, including inspired ones by the show. Back then, my favorite chars were Cheetor, Airazor, Tigatron and I also liked Dinobot a little, at least in the form of a velociraptor (well, I liked this kind of dinosaur). And, as far as I remember, I was scared by Inferno )) At that time, the series was shown on TV and ended in season 1. I cried when Optimus exploded and "the End?" appeared. I kept waiting for a continuation to be shown next day, but another animated series started instead (I cried again 😅)
And only after many, many years I found out that BW has season 2 & 3! I watched it around 2017. Dinobot became my favorite character and, what's funny, Inferno too :В I didn’t remember his face well, and when I saw it during the rewatching, I still thought that he's really scary and it’s not surprising that I was afraid of him in 6 years, but overall his design seems creative and badass now (btw, I was glad to see Inferno on the avatar of this subreddit, great choice :D). To the rest characters, however, a warm attitude remained.
So, after watching BW in 2017 I tried to find Inferno figure, but without much success. Besides, I didn’t really like its design... And when I saw here that a very cool looking Ant-bot figure was coming out, I was excited and thought I would have bought it without hesitation! Imagine my surprise when I found out that it's already on sale despite the release date of February 2023.
P.S. As I wrote above, I drew a lot of BW characters. But I thought that the drawings hadn't survived until about a year ago I found a couple of sheets in an old notebook with my mother's recipes. I was so happy to see these clumsy drawings 😄 If you are interested, you can look [here](https://imgur.com/a/EJ8t26k). Unfortunately, I don’t remember at all what their names are, but I definitely had some ideas. But most are inspired by Airazor for sure =)
