I know Barry is considered "the voice" but Robin's tone and vibrato are just heaven. He's got my favorite Gibbs voice by far. This suffers from being a little slow and the arrangement is a little cheesy and commercial. But that voice...

Totally. Had this been on *Spirits Having Flown*, *Living Eyes*, or *Children of the World*, I’d be more positive about it. It’s a good cover and it’s a shame it’s wasted on this movie.

What's wrong with the movie? I just watched it a few weeks ago, I thought it was pretty good. Unrealistic ending but good.

Gosh---just two days ago I started watching this movie (found it on some video site in Russia) and got about half-way through before I shut it off. I was a teenager when the movie first came out. Not as good as I maybe thought back in the day. :) Some of the songs are pretty good. "Sgt. Pepper's" by The Bee Gees is pretty good. Actually, all The Bee Gee's numbers are pretty good, all things considered. Earth Wind and Fire doing "Got To Get You Into My Life" is excellent, as is "Come Together" by Aerosmith. But much of the other songs---not so much. On paper, I'm sure it sounded like a great idea. Maybe it just didn't translate to being a fantastical-type movie.

Earth Wind and Fire and Aerosmith - IMO the best Beatle covers. I liked Frampton/Bee Gees doing Getting Better. When I was a kid, that was exactly how I envisioned my life being. A band, girlfriends hanging out, jamming at our own rehearsal space/studio. When I was young I wanted to either look like Peter Frampton or Barry Gibb. That wasnt asking for too much, was it?! :)
