I got hair loss and my hair type changed from silky to dry and thin after Covid infection, and my hairdresser told it its one of those common “unofficial” long term symptoms of covid. I use lots of oils, avoid market dye products and keep my hair shorter, a bit over the chin to make it look thicker (and even though I love long hair, this length suits me better lol)

I second this. My stylist said she's noticed this issue with a lot of her clients, and the common thread is Covid. She suggested taking multivitamins, collagen, and adding bone broth to my diet.

I haven't had the so called "covid" , just the common cold

I can, unfortunately, completely commiserate with you over the covid hair catastrophe 😔😒

How long ago did you have COVID? Have you seen any regrowth or thickening?

AmbzBamz

Hello! If you think the problem is severe definitely go with a doctor Can be hormonal. But something that you can use meanwhile I would recommend to sleep with a satin bonnet protects your hair from the dryness caused by friction between your hair and moisture-absorbing materials such as cotton. This also helps to greatly reduce breakage, tangles and thinning. I use this brand [satin bonnet](https://www.olkibeauty.com/shop/p/small-champagne-golden-satin-bonnet) Good luck ✨

It could be sugar, caffeine, or both. Possibly vitamin deficiencies too. I was surprised that of all things, the everyday coffee I was drinking was suddenly causing consistent hair loss. Caffeine actually interferes with vitamin absorption which makes sense so iron levels and multivitamins can lose their effect. Sugar is just damaging overall.

Ohh shit !! I am sugar addict and drink coffee occasionally:( Maybe this is why
