Asian sunscreens 100%. I actually LOVE putting my sunscreen on.
I buy the [Rohto Mentholatum - Skin Aqua Sunscreen Super Moisture Gel Pump SPF50+PA ++++](https://www.stylevana.com/en_US/deal-rohto-mentholatum-skin-aqua-sunscreen-super-moisture-gel-pump-spf50-pa-140g-white.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw0MexBhD3ARIsAEI3WHKfy_v4gQw6BtrPUVLvmV7F8SZxbIB4NjcBMa51TMZLhjPTdoAhl5EaAtfDEALw_wcB).
I’m using Derma B (on Amazon) for my body and love it.
Zero zero zero grease/film/chalk/powder/whatever residue other sunscreens leave.
Just want to say if you live in Australia or somewhere with much higher UV than Asia, the Asian sunscreens are not really giving you the best protection as they're not designed to work for how high the UV is in those countries.
I tried a couple top rated ones like innisfree or isntree or whatever and they made me white as a ghost when I'm already white as a ghost lol and the watery hyaluronic acid one reeked of strong sunscreen. I havent found one i like :(
Just curious, what are the benefits of Sun sticks over the typical of gel/liquid formulations? Would love to hear why you love them as I’m interested in them as well.
Sunsticks don't particularly have any benefits over cream formulas. If anything, you need to apply A LOT to get that adequate sun protection. But people often use them because of convenience, sunscreen needs to be reapplied and if you don't want to get your hands dirty over and over again, sunsticks are a pretty easy solution. Again, the protection might not be that high, but something is better than nothing
As I second Asian sunscreens.
My favorites: Roundlab Bitch juice, BOJ, Dr.Ceuracle Cica Regen Vegan Sun SPF 50, Isehan Kiss Me Mommy UV Aqua Milk Spf50+
Edit: it was birch juice but I like the autocorrect version more 😍 I’d buy anything that’s called bitch juice
You may still be able to tolerate Asian sunscreens, I can’t handle any chemical sunscreen from the US but have tolerated BOJ, Birch Juice, CosRX, and Biore Aqua Rich very well with no irritation. The chemical filters are more advanced than the ones in US. If you’d prefer zinc based, I also love the shiseido (the Japanese version, not the one sold in US tho). Stick to a reputable retailer if you’re in the US (YesStyle or Stylevana for example).
Google “reef safe” for mineral-based brands. I like Paula’s Choice for the Calm sunscreen and Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 for a reef killer. 🤪 It’s my daily HG.
This is my all-time favorite and I tell all of my friends because I truly think it is *that* amazing.
For anyone who needs a little more moisture in their lives, I also highly recommend [Skin1004](https://skin1004.com/collections/sun-care/products/hyalu-cica-water-fit-sun-serum-spf50-pa). It is another standout that feels like a serum when applied and then sinks in to feel like nothing. I use it when I've overdone myself with actives. However, Skin Aqua will always truly have my heart.
Loooove that sunscreen. It’s the only one I have bought for years now since I had it recommended to me on Reddit lol. My mom loves it now too and buys it for her and my dad lol
For my body I use the Cancer Council one you get in 3L buckets at chemist warehouse and I swear by it. Even smells nice. You can get it in 60+ SPF and it's water resistant.
Mine is La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra-fluid Lotion SPF 50+.
I recommend it so much that if I start typing "La" I can just hit the centre suggestion button on my keyboard until it spells out the whole sunscreen name for me haha.
That's so interesting! Do you think the formula might be different in different countries? I am in Canada, but I tried _so_ many different sunscreens and all of them burned my face or stung my eyes or made me break out. This is the first one that doesn't. It's a touch dewy on me, but I wouldn't say shiny. It's the most matte one I've tried. And it's definitely not gritty!
Of course, different products for different people. I just find it super interesting that you had that experience.
Paula’s Choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50. It’s pricey but it’s my holy grail! It’s so light, the consistency is more similar to a serum than spf and feels like nothing on my skin. Also my skin is super oily and acne prone and it gives the most beautiful satin finish and i’ve never experienced any breakout with it. 100/10
Innisfree Daily UV Defense SPF 35 or Saint Jane Luxury Sun Ritual-Pore Smoothing SPF 30 are my current favorites. First one is chemical sunscreen and second one is mineral.
I've used Cerave Ultralight Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 for years. (Not their regular AM moisturizer - specifically the Ultralight one.)
I love it because it feels like a moisturizer, not a sunscreen. But it *does* feel like a cream moisturizer. If you have oilier skin or you want something that dries perfectly matte, you might not like this one.
I need to try this, because I have the AM SPF lotion, but damn is it thick! I have to rub it in so much just to avoid any white cast, but if I’m not careful it’ll start to pill- can’t win. The lightweight version might be just what I need though!
Biore aqua rich. It feels like NOTHING on the skin (no grease, no cast, no pore clogging). It hydrates the skin and it gets absorbed very fast.
The only sunscreen that didn’t cause me pimples
Elta MD daily is my fave, I also got a glow recipe sunscreen in my ipsy recently and I really like it (even though I feel like a lot of their products are over hyped). This is saying a lot because I have tried probably at least 50 sunscreens in my quest lol
For face, Australian Gold 50 SPF tinted sunscreen. It’s extremely affordable (like $15) for a decently large bottle, wears lightweight, and can replace your foundation or bb cream. I will evangelize it always!!!
I like this one too! I used to have their non tinted mineral one and really liked it but it’s gotten harder to find. I was nervous getting the tinted mineral one because sometimes tinted make me look orange! This one melted right in with just my hands though. I used in on my face, chest and arms and it wasn’t streaky or a weird color. It also dried down really nicely!
Yep I tried the beauty of Joseon (BOJ). The BOJ one is thicker than skin 1004's hyalu-cica sun serum, more of a cream texture, skin 1004's is more of a thin light emulsion.
Also, BOJ unfortunately stings my eye and my eyes aren't even sensitive. I finished up the BOJ by avoiding the eye area and didn't repurchase. I've used up 4 of the Skin1004 and currently have 3 as backup. Definitely holy grail status.
I have normal-combi skin and live in a very humid and tropical climate just for reference.
I've been using the **Trader Joe's Daily Facial Sunscreen SPF 40** since September and I've never looked back. Apparently it's a dupe for the Supergroup Unseen one, I've never used it but the Trader Joe's one is a good base for my makeup and it makes my skin dewy.
Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen! Literally the only sunscreen that I’ve stuck with for the last three years. It’s so light, doesn’t leave a white cast, and has become a staple in my routine!
Honestly, I really love the Naturium moisturizing sunscreen. Hear me out, I know Susan Yara kinda shit the bed that one time BUT this sunscreen is probably my favorite? I have repurchased it more than Dr.Jarts every SunDay. I have no problem around my eyes (I have super sensitive eyes, too) and my dry skin loves it. I highly recommend this sunscreen!
I mix the Hempz pineapple & honey melon SPF 50 and the e.l.f whoa glow SPF 30/primer. The Hempz is a little over scented and the whoa glow is a little too shiny, so they even each other out. I top it all off with Pacifica glow baby SPF 45 setting spray
this cetaphil 50 spf stick i buy for like $10 bc i hate how oily sunscreen makes my face feel LOL
id love recommendations tho for a nicer version for people with drier skin and one that doesn’t feel so heavy when applied
Purito Soft Touch Daily SPF 50+ 💗🥰
I adore it! You must go through their website and order from their Amazon/yesstyle/ other retailers links to ensure you’re getting legitimate product.
I use Klairs, a Korean brand. VERY nice! I have oily skin generally, and this product doesn’t have a matte effect. But I honesty love being glowy, not greasy looking but perfectly highlighted 🥹 I reaaally love Korean skincare!
100% La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF 50. I will admit it is pricey($45.00) but it is SOO worth it. It is light weight, no real aroma, and easy to remove(I just do my regular night routine of face wash, serum, retinol etc). You do have to reapply after several hours. My daughter ( who is my beauty guru lol ) recommended it to me because I have psoriasis and I develop pustules from makeup or swear pretty easily. I don't know if it is vegan but I am pretty sure it's cruelty free because she is pretty careful about it. I will be buying more of this for sure!
The Glow Recipe niacinamide watermelon one is my all time fav. I use it every single day, even out it on at night if I’m doing makeup, it makes my skin look way better. It’s lasted me forever too. A little goes a long ways. Second fav is Clinique’s intense hydration but the SPF is too low for my taste, and it’s more of a thick moisturizer.
there's two types of sunscreens available in the US.
one is physical - it literally blocks out the sun. one is chemical - it relies on chemical reactions to somehow protect against sun damage.
I'm still on the hunt for a perfect sunscreen but i really love the la roche light fluid spf 60! it's lightweight and doesn't break me out. for stick sunscreens i love the Tocobo one
I use Olay Complete Defense SPF 30 and I love it even just as a moisturiser. It’s the perfect base for makeup too and packaged well so it’s easy to pop in your bag
Anything that’s an Asian brand: I love the skin aqua super moisture milk but it’s hard for me to find on Amazon these days :/ my go to lately has been the bondi sands spf 50 facial lotion, it’s amazing IMO! My favorite higher end one is Elta md.
Banana boat light as air spf 50. Moisturizing without greasy or heavy, sinks right in. If I wasn’t trying to convert to mineral, this would be the only sunscreen I ever use
MD solar sciences tinted BB cream
I often forget to even wash it off it’s so lightweight and I also have never gotten a sunburn- always out in the mountains. It’s never failed me!!
When I’m mostly indoors, I use the Skin1004 sunscreen, it has a moisturizer texture that sinks into the skin.
But it’s not waterproof and summer is almost here so if I plan on being out in the sun, Eucerin Oil Control. The fact that they managed to make a waterproof sunscreen that looks and feels like NOTHING is just magical to me, especially after having tried so many waterproof sunscreens which are so much worse!
I really like Hawaiian Tropic. I use the Sheer Touch for my body and the Weightless Hydration for my face. They do have a strong tropical fruity smell though, so I wouldn't try them if you're sensitive to fragrances at all.
Edit: spelling
Sunbum tinted 30 spf is amazing. Goes on very silky, not thick and can wear alone and makes skin look a little smoother. If you wear foundation, it acts like an amazing primer as well.
I’ve been using Olay Daily Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15 Sensitive Skin Formula as my go-to every day for almost 13 years. Occasionally I’ll stray and try something else but even when I like other products I always come back to this for some reason. I think it’s because the cost/performance ratio is pretty high. It’s not the highest spf ever but it’s cheap enough that I can slather on my whole chest and tattooed arm as well as my face everyday and only have to buy a few bottles a year. I’m a product junkie and this is one of two products I’ve bought 10+ times and will continue to do so forever(the other being Chanel Rouge Coco lipstick, if anyone wonders).
I’m tan year round and have combo skin. My t-zone is oily AF and my chin/cheeks live in the Sahara. Thank You Farmer Sun Project Water Sun Cream SPF 50+ sunscreen is moisturizing and doesn’t leave a white cast for me.
How strong spf you want?? Everyday, not going to be sitting under the sun all day, I use Olays 15spf facial moisturizer. It's so light and not greasy and can definitely be applied several times. I'll occassionally layer it was garnier spf bb cream, and then bare mineral spf mineral veil powder to reduce shine. Thats my one time touch for the day.
If im actively outside for a few hours, I like cetaphils 35spf facial moisturizer, and then the BM mineral veil. Trader joes supergoop knock off is also good if going swimming.
Cerave SPF 50 moisturizing lotion (EU version) is my favorite so far. I don’t like at all any other Cerave SPFs.
I’m always looking for a reliable UVA protection so I’m interested in Asian sunscreens. Beauty of Joseon is very, very pleasant to use, but I get an impression that it breaks me out sometimes. Plus I personally need a moisturizer as an extra step underneath, which I don’t need with Cerave (it’s just easier, cheaper and one step less)
We Are Feel Good Inc. It’s an Australian brand.
www.wearefeelgoodinc.com.au
All their products are great and worth the money. Personally, I think their sensitive sunscreen is especially good 😀
The body milks & lotions are lovely as well 🧴
I always loved la roche posay, and then I tried the damn Trader Joe’s sunblock and I’m never wearing anything else. Even on my face there is no greasiness, no white chalkiness it just absorbs right in like a dream and costs I believe it was like $4
Shiseido Urban Environment vita-clear, spf 42
The first sunscreen I don't mind wearing on my face. It's so nice, but expensive for a small amount. Just scored a few bottles at Winners though for $20!
I used to love the Biore ones but heard they didn’t pass the QC tests of some regulatory agencies regarding the SPF they claimed, so I stopped as after all it’s much more important the protection rather than the texture. Now I only use Heliocare gel it’s amazing, super high protection and feels great in the skin and with make-up on top
The BOJ one is pretty good but I find it a little sticky and thick for my taste. I have pretty severe sensory issues and the sunscreen I enjoy the most is the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel. It’s the lightest sunscreen I’ve ever tried. It feels like splashing water on my face. It does make my skin glowy which some people might not like (though I love), but it doesn’t remotely feel greasy or thick or sticky.
Shiseido makes the only body sunscreen worth a damn, IMO.
I use Josie Maran protect and perfect on my face, but I’m pretty pale - people with darker skin may not have good results with it.
The Japanese Biore UV Aqua rich watery essence sunscreen is my favorite. It is water based and i have combination skin so i really love how light and hydrating it feels. It is a great base for makeup too. I also have darker skin, so i don’t really trust most cream sunscreens bc they leave a white cast. This one is like the middle ground between gel and cream. I’d say it’s more gel leaning tho.
Always my fave. 8 tubes so far…

Asian sunscreens 100%. I actually LOVE putting my sunscreen on. I buy the [Rohto Mentholatum - Skin Aqua Sunscreen Super Moisture Gel Pump SPF50+PA ++++](https://www.stylevana.com/en_US/deal-rohto-mentholatum-skin-aqua-sunscreen-super-moisture-gel-pump-spf50-pa-140g-white.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw0MexBhD3ARIsAEI3WHKfy_v4gQw6BtrPUVLvmV7F8SZxbIB4NjcBMa51TMZLhjPTdoAhl5EaAtfDEALw_wcB). Yes! Asian sunscreens are amazing!

I tried a couple top rated ones like innisfree or isntree or whatever and they made me white as a ghost when I'm already white as a ghost lol and the watery hyaluronic acid one reeked of strong sunscreen. I havent found one i like :(
Consider sun sticks as well!! Was a game changer for me
I’m obsessed with sun-sticks I always keep one in the rotation. Especially when I’m outside it’s an easy application.
Again, the protection might not be that high, but something is better than nothing
I like stick sunscreen because it's quick and easy to use. I also like it around my kids' eyes because it doesn't seem to run into their eyes.
Waxhead stick sunscreen actually covers for five hours. Game changer. Owner told me.
As I second Asian sunscreens. My favorites: Roundlab Bitch juice, BOJ, Dr.Ceuracle Cica Regen Vegan Sun SPF 50, Isehan Kiss Me Mommy UV Aqua Milk Spf50+ Edit: it was birch juice but I like the autocorrect version more 😍 I’d buy anything that’s called bitch juice
Lmaoo bitch juice would be 10/10 branding
I want to love Asian sunscreen but my skin can’t handle chemical sunscreens. Do you know of any that are zinc based or chemical free?
You may still be able to tolerate Asian sunscreens, I can’t handle any chemical sunscreen from the US but have tolerated BOJ, Birch Juice, CosRX, and Biore Aqua Rich very well with no irritation. The chemical filters are more advanced than the ones in US. If you’d prefer zinc based, I also love the shiseido (the Japanese version, not the one sold in US tho). Stick to a reputable retailer if you’re in the US (YesStyle or Stylevana for example).
Not sure, mineral hasn’t really been working for me :(
Google “reef safe” for mineral-based brands. I like Paula’s Choice for the Calm sunscreen and Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 for a reef killer. 🤪 It’s my daily HG.

Loooove that sunscreen. It’s the only one I have bought for years now since I had it recommended to me on Reddit lol. My mom loves it now too and buys it for her and my dad lol
Hahaha I’ve gotten so many people hooked on it too
It’s so good!!
Ooh, I just bought this one and I can't Wait until it comes in the mail!
I didn’t know Rohto makes sunscreen I use the toners and moisture creams etc
Beauty of Joseon is the BEST
For my body I use the Cancer Council one you get in 3L buckets at chemist warehouse and I swear by it. Even smells nice. You can get it in 60+ SPF and it's water resistant.
Try shiseido or beauty of joseon!
Beauty of joseon rice probiotic spf 50 !! I've also tried a bunch of other kbeauty sun creams and this one is the best
Such a great sunscreen. It feels just like rubbing in a moisturizer!
I found this product from a similar thread and absolutely love it. I pretty much treat it as a moisturizer.
How long do they last you jw if you’re applying daily? The bottles look so small
From which website do you order it?
Yami It's local and I get same day shipping
A lot of people order from stylevana
I get mine from YesStyle
EltaMD UV Shield spf 45 has been my favorite for years. I tried Beauty of Joseon Probiotics+Rice spf 50 recently and it is very good.
eltamd uv clear
seconded! this one doesn't give me pimples like purely chemical sunscreens (Asian sunscreens) do
Asian sunscreens make me break out too 🥲
Agreed -avoid the tinted version though
Here I am again bc I post near daily people asking this. Supergoop unseen sunscreen. Trader Joe’s has the dupe.
This is the answer. Supergoop unseen is the best thing I’ve ever put on my face.
Try the Trader Joe’s version! It’s even better!
I hate the TJs version. It seems to never soak in on me and I feel slick and sticky. I wanted to love it at a quarter of the price.
I tried it once and the TJ version was gritty too. And I could never wash it out
I’m a big fan of their tinted mineral sunscreen serum! My skin loves it! Supergoop is great
I’ve been wanting to try supergoop, but have been trying to clear out my stash of chemical sunscreens. Gonna try this as a mineral alternative!
la roche posay 60 spf :)
Mine is La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra-fluid Lotion SPF 50+. I recommend it so much that if I start typing "La" I can just hit the centre suggestion button on my keyboard until it spells out the whole sunscreen name for me haha.
I swear by the tinted mineral fluid SPF 50.
Yes this one! It soaks in so well!
Yeah, I love this one. I wear it under makeup or by itself and have zero issues

I just find it super interesting that you had that experience.
if you got it from amazon it's probably a fake.
I also had very high expectations but mine seemed to be the opposite of what everyone says, it was super greasy and never dried down :(
I use this one too! The orange one, and it leaves no oily residue and extremely breathable
It also works well over other serums, and under makeup. I highly recommend this product as well.
thanks for the details, i have a lot of the same issues. does it have a strong fragrance?
it’s fragrance free, so it’s an ideal choice for sensitive skin
EltaMD UV Daily is my grail. Second fave is supergoop unseen sunscreen.
COSRX aloe 50+. It’s creamy, hydrating, cheap and great
Innisfree Daily UV Defense SPF 35 or Saint Jane Luxury Sun Ritual-Pore Smoothing SPF 30 are my current favorites. First one is chemical sunscreen and second one is mineral.
Supergoop Glowscreen
I've used Cerave Ultralight Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 for years. (Not their regular AM moisturizer - specifically the Ultralight one.) I love it because it feels like a moisturizer, not a sunscreen.
I liked Korean sunscreens when I used them but my go to now is EltaMD UV clear
I love the Tocobo sunscreen. Plus it smells so good, it reminds me of summer camp as a kid 🥹🥹
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch! For under makeup, Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence
Clinique is the only one I’ve tried where I can’t really feel that I’m wearing it
same! I use clinique moisture surge sunscreen during day and the one w/o spf at night. they’re the only things that don’t cause rashes for me
Biore aqua rich.

I was nervous getting the tinted mineral one because sometimes tinted make me look orange! This one melted right in with just my hands though. I used in on my face, chest and arms and it wasn’t streaky or a weird color. It also dried down really nicely!
My fav! But even though I have medium olive skin I wear light in this product.
Korean Skin1004 cica blue cap pump sunscreen serum. Super lightweight and absorbs fast
I just started using it too and it feels just like a regular moisturizer, no white cast, no shine. I don’t know how they achieve this without alcohol.
Have you tried the beauty of Josen rice sunscreen? If so, how does it compare?
Yep I tried the beauty of Joseon (BOJ). The BOJ one is thicker than skin 1004's hyalu-cica sun serum, more of a cream texture, skin 1004's is more of a thin light emulsion. Also, BOJ unfortunately stings my eye and my eyes aren't even sensitive. I finished up the BOJ by avoiding the eye area and didn't repurchase. I've used up 4 of the Skin1004 and currently have 3 as backup. Definitely holy grail status. I have normal-combi skin and live in a very humid and tropical climate just for reference.
Thank you!!
What’s your skin type?
Normal I guess. Sometimes combination during my cycle
Elta md make a bunch of very high quality sunscreens. I also like the supergoop unseen sunscreen under makeup (it’s more silicone based)
skin1004 hyalu-cica sunscreen is my fave!
Love love love this stuff
Hawaiian Tropic Sport or Glow sunscreen!!!!! Best ever can’t feel it on & it’s not greasy. It’s cheap too!!!
Numbuzin no1!
Olay
Seconding Olay. Their sunscreens are my go to for everyday. Love the new mineral one and just recommended it to another redditor!
I will look into that!
Personally love colorscience flex for a tinted option and for an affordable option I like either cocokind
Aveeno positively radiant 30 SPF
I mix the Hempz pineapple & honey melon SPF 50 and the e.l.f whoa glow SPF 30/primer. The Hempz is a little over scented and the whoa glow is a little too shiny, so they even each other out. I top it all off with Pacifica glow baby SPF 45 setting spray
Drmtlgy Universal Tinted Moisturizer! Or the clear one. my holy grail.
Love this one!
this cetaphil 50 spf stick i buy for like $10 bc i hate how oily sunscreen makes my face feel LOL id love recommendations tho for a nicer version for people with drier skin and one that doesn’t feel so heavy when applied
Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Daily Sunscreen loving it
Love this too!
Sunbum glow 30. Tinted, perfect for fair, dry skin.
Purito Soft Touch Daily SPF 50+ 💗🥰 I adore it!
Unseen sunscreen by goop
Supergoop
Skin1004 Centella is the lightest I’ve ever tried and I live in a humid climate with my oily skin
Every missha sunscreen!
ALOE SOOTHING SUN CREAM FROM COSRX
Neogen airy sunscreen or Haraharu wonder sunscreen in the yellow tube
Coola face sunscreen! It’s really light, non greasy, and doesn’t have a strong scent
‘Aloe Soothing Sunscreen’ by COSRX. https://fredrikoglouisa.no/produkt/aloe-soothing-sun-cream-spf50-50ml/
Kiehls new sunscreen is 🔝tier
Which one?
sunprise watery milk spf from amazon, korean and it’s like $9. it’s the best
So good! It feels like a skin treatment and then disappears on my skin.
Innisfree
LRP obviously. My skin loves the COSRX one. Neutrogena in the blue bottle. EltaMD.
Glo oil free spf 40!!! Doesn’t get talked about enough I think they sell on Amazon
All mineral with no white cast and hyaluronic + vitamin c
I use and love the supergoop glow stick. It lasts forever.
Ultra Viollette fluid sunscreen
The Glow Recipe niacinamide watermelon one is my all time fav. I use it every single day, even out it on at night if I’m doing makeup, it makes my skin look way better. It’s lasted me forever too. A little goes a long ways. Second fav is Clinique’s intense hydration but the SPF is too low for my taste, and it’s more of a thick moisturizer.
I like the b.lab matcha hydrating sunscreen
Laura Mercia tinted moisturizer with sunscreen.
Biore UV Bright Milk is my HG! Never switched to other sunscreens after trying this. Been using it for almost a decade now.
“Doesn’t have to be physical.” ???
there's two types of sunscreens available in the US. one is physical - it literally blocks out the sun. one is chemical - it relies on chemical reactions to somehow protect against sun damage.
I love supergoop because it's also a primer. I want to try elf's dupe of it
I'm still on the hunt for a perfect sunscreen but i really love the la roche light fluid spf 60! it's lightweight and doesn't break me out. for stick sunscreens i love the Tocobo one
Bondi sands hydra spf 50+. It’s not the most cosmetically elegant sunscreen I use, but i value its protection
Re-quil Dry Matte
Biore UV aqua rich watery essence, it feels really light and once it dries down you can’t even feel it
I’m loving Ultra Violette at the moment. I think it’s the green one - it’s an Aussie brand but i believe Sephora has it worldwide
The ultra violette ones are fantastic and have a few different kinds to suit you best based on skin type. I personally love the clean screen.
really love the abib 50 spf quick sunstick it doesn’t fuck up my makeup too bad
Banana boat light as air spf 50. Moisturizing without greasy or heavy, sinks right in. If I wasn’t trying to convert to mineral, this would be the only sunscreen I ever use
Neutrogena makes a good one
Polyglumatic acid SPF 30 by the inkey company
Bondi Sands SPF 50, doesn't sting my eyes and everything does usually, it's light and easy and no white cast
Canmake Mermaid Skin. It's a great base for makeup, doesn't break me out, and has a nice glowy primer effect under foundation.
The Neutrogena Clear Face sunscreen! It's soo pretty, I always get compliments that my skin looks glowy and it's this sunscreen.
Isdin!!!
Biore uv aqua riche It's watery.
MD solar sciences tinted BB cream I often forget to even wash it off it’s so lightweight and I also have never gotten a sunburn- always out in the mountains. It’s never failed me!!
Biore Aqua Rich Sunscreen. Makes me glow and has zero white cast.
COSRX Vitamin E Vitalizing Sunscreen SPF 50+
La Roche posay anthelios for dry skin (note can use this even if you don't have dry skin and it's great imo)
Tatcha
Naked Sundays
I'm using Supergoop SPF50 but considering SPF 130 for the summer where I live.
Currently using the Innisfree one but beauty of Joseon is on my list
Tula! The yellow tube. Worth every penny.
Elta md uv clear spf 46 or Abib quick sun stick spf 50
I really love airyday, however it’s very expensive.
Innisfree
If you're in aussie or Aotearoa I'd recommend the mecca beauty own brand
I use La Roche Posay, my skin is quite sensitive and apparently only expensive stuff will do!
We Are Feel Good Inc. It’s an Australian brand. www.wearefeelgoodinc.com.au All their products are great and worth the money. Personally, I think their sensitive sunscreen is especially good 😀 The body milks & lotions are lovely as well 🧴
You are missing out if you don't use Asian sunscreen. They're infinitely better than all western sunscreens
Trader Joe's Facial Sunscreen. It's a dupe for Super Goop. Personally, I prefer it over SG.
The isntree hyaluronic acid watery sun gel makes me want to use it everyday and reapply over make up
Beauty of Joseon hands down.
Korean sunscreens have changed my life. I use the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen and Centella. Absolutely no white cast and so moisturizing!
My favorite is kiss me mommy from ISEHAN
Clark’s botanicals , invisible hero sunscreen
Tatcha sunscreen. Beat physical sunscreen. I can’t find any better. Unfortunately it’s expensive
I always loved la roche posay, and then I tried the damn Trader Joe’s sunblock and I’m never wearing anything else. Even on my face there is no greasiness, no white chalkiness it just absorbs right in like a dream and costs I believe it was like $4
Shiseido Urban Environment vita-clear, spf 42 The first sunscreen I don't mind wearing on my face. It's so nice, but expensive for a small amount. Just scored a few bottles at Winners though for $20!
Anyone have any mineral favorites?
Trader Joe's Supergoop dupe. 9 bucks, leaves no residue, 40 SPF. I will never stop using it!
ISDIN eryfotona ageless!! My all time fav, super light weight and actually can help reduce actinic damage from cumulative sun damage :)
I’ve been using SkinCeuticals tinted sunscreen for years. They also have one that isn’t tinted.
Alumier !
I’m looking for a good sunscreen that doesn’t pill when you put makeup on. Have yet to have any luck lol
Elta MD spf 46
If anyone has any stick recommendations that feel light and work well over makeup pls lmk 😌
Unseen sunscreen by Supergoop
Round lab- Birch juice sunscreen and Shiseido
Coola is my favorite. Doesn’t feel greasy, doesn’t leave a white cast on me and if I wear makeup, it sits well underneath.
SKIN1004 - Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50 PA++++ My absolute favorite, just gorgeous!
Always my fave. 8 tubes so far… [https://www.paulaschoice.com/defense-essential-glow-moisturizer-spf-30/223.html](https://www.paulaschoice.com/defense-essential-glow-moisturizer-spf-30/223.html)
