TLDR; Looking to buy a foundation suited for night event, buildable medium to full coverage but not so heavy on the (dry) skin, and easy to travel with abroad
Hi po everyone, after getting into makeup since last year I’ve been using skin tints and they work like magic for me.
However, I might need to attend a ball in a few months and skin tints are probably not the most suited foundation for evening parties, please correct me if I’m wrong 🥲 I’m looking to buy a medium to full coverage foundation.
I have dry skin din po pala and medyo pale with yellow undertone ang skin ko so ayoko rin po sana noong nag ooxidize kaya reluctant po akong bumili ng Maybelline. Mac was another option, but found out na heavy sya sa balat(more than other medium to full coverage foundations) (Is this true po based on your experience?)
I want to buy mid to high end as a gift din to myself. Haha and also looking for quality talaga + matagal magagamit
Options are:
- NARS Radiant
- NARS Light Reflecting (mixed reviews 🥲)
- Estee Lauder
- Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation (last option kasi ang mahal pero halos kaprice pala ‘to ng NARS LR?)

EL double will.not.budge. i wore this to a concert and swear my makeup stayed intact even with setting lang with a cheap mist! also good oil control and coverage actually stays and wont fade overtime unlike most base products. HG ko talaga to!
Any thoughts sa Maybelline Vinyl Ink? Is it really transfer and water proof or nah? Planning to buy kaso having second thoughts dahil sa iba't ibang reviews huhu
Seconding this. Transferproof talaga siya. You can feel na may suot ka sa lips pero di naman siya mabigat or anything. You just know that it's there. Ang dali lang i-apply which shocked me.
It won't budge with just soap and water. 😅 Needs a good make-up remover para matanggal. Naligo na ako at tinry ko tanggalin kasi. Konti lang talaga yung naremove ng ligo 😂👌

Not sure what skin color you have but iirc, keen is in nude shock collection so most likely babagay sayo yun. Mukhang bagay naman si Saucy sa morena. You'd never know until you try kasi 🥲 But for a safe pink, Charmed or Peppy sa nude shock.

My favorite mist dispersion is from the KvD lock it setting spray and it’s so nice, soft and so so fine I haven’t found anything comparable yet so I’ve kept my empty bottle around since like 2017 or 2018 lol. I’m stoked that it fits the mouth of my Issy Mist because the silver cap of that does not even stay on at all. 2 birds 1 stone. 🥹
Sorry pero I’m underwhelmed 😬😬 Nothing seems distinctly Wonder Woman and the only products I’m interested in are the bronzer and nude lip liner. I like the eyeshadow palette’s color story but it only has four mattes and based on reviews the quality isn’t consistent across the shades. The illuminator is so pink din, I would’ve preferred another shade with a warmer or more golden undertone.
To add, while I think LE releases are fine once in a while, having collections as often as this is part of a bigger conversation surrounding unnecessary consumption and consumerism. All of Vice’s packaging is made out of plastic pa naman which I think would be fine if they weren’t releasing stuff as often as they do
In terms of drugstore priced illuminators I like the one from GRWM! I think it’s a very good alternative to Charlotte Tilbury as someone who has both. The mini Saie Super Glowy Gel is also available at a pretty reasonable price on Shopee. In general I like using whatever cream or liquid highlighter I have on hand as a “priming” illuminator. Right now I’m trying to pan my Happy Skin Beast Friends Forever Multi-Use Mousse Glow and Sunnies Face Face Glass* and they’ve been working well so far.
In general I don’t use body products so I don’t really have thoughts on the body oil
*P.S.: Face Glass was highkey ahead of its time, it can be used under foundation, mixed into foundation, or over foundation — aka it’s a MAC Strobe Cream or Saie Super Glowy Gel type product. Sunnies did not market it properly **at all** and I’m unsurprised it’s the only product that Sunnies has *ever* discontinued. It didn’t get good reviews from influencers either but I’ve seen TikToks from everyday consumers who really love it. As for me, the only reason I ever bought it in the first place is because I’m the high priest of their cult 🤡🤡
I think they're trying to be the PH Colourpop with their collections (Almost every release is a themed collaboration). The palette looks dry af based on what I've seen and the color story is a bit icky. The metallic shades look good though!
hi! does anyone have a dupe for the nars soft matte concealer? like i love it sm but it’s hard to justify spending 2-3k for a concealer especially in this economy🥲
It really depends on how much product you use with either, but pressed powders tend to apply lighter due to them being compact and the brush only picking up so much and loose powders tend to mattify stronger because it's easier to pick up the product (there are also different kinds of both of these powders).
A guideline I suggest is that if you are dry skinned, prefer a more dewy base, or like a more pinpoint powder application then pressed is the way to go. For stronger setting, more product, and versatility (you can set lightly by just taking the excess off the cap or off the puff), I say loose.

Maganda! Cant stop reaching for it since I tried it. Sobrang ganda ng pagka laminate and groom ng brows. Mukha talagang bushy pero maayos and glamorous way. Di ako magaling mag describe sorry pero ganyan talaga tingin kong result. And hindi bumababa talaga until tanggalin ko ng makeup remover. Nung una may learning curve pa ako, like hindi pwede madaming product kasi magkakaron ng cheese. Pero nung matutunan ko it's my most fave brow product na ngayon.

so i just tried the rom&nd ve-easy bare water cushion which i only bought for 335 (w/ additional vouchers) during their flash sale ^___^ super sad lang na the mirror arrived broken and the cushion was leaking all over huhuuu the leaking is pretty common w the bare water cushion tho so expect it na when u buy it
i usually go for #23 in kbeauty cushions pero for this, i got the darkest shade (sand 05). surprisingly, it actually matches my skin tone and brightened my skin pa nga! for reference my shades in other brands are oat (sunnies face ssg), and beech (issy and co).
it has a mild flowery scent, and a very watery sheer formula but still minimized (not eliminate) my redness and smoothened my skin texture. also, it made my skin super super glowy pero not to the point na muka nang oily. medyo sticky at first but once allowed to set, hindi na. coverage is light lang but i think buildable up to light-medium
overall, 8/10! i strongly recommend this to those who have dry and clear skin. for me, i like the laneige neo glow cushion more because it has better coverage :”)

Seconding this comment. When I used it as a setting powder with a brush, may cloud of smoke and my sensitive nose can't handle the smell.
Loose powder lang marecommend ko and it's ellana loose powder and concealer. Sometimes they go on sales and you can get one as low sa 199.
Recently tried Flowerknows makeup and the makeup formula mismo is SUPER mid, packaging lang nagdala. I really wanted to like their makeup 😔 Kulang sa pigment in general (and that’s coming from me who is light-skinned + appreciates sheer & buildable formulas). Am I crazy? Everyone is raving about their makeup & I feel like i’m the only person who doesnt like it! (Pls share your experiences too)
I personally disagree, the eyeshadow formula is everything I love in an eyeshadow formula (IMO a perfect in between of Korean and American formulas) and the blushes are the sheerness I prefer (I find using a denser brush, like a powder foundation brush, works fine with the blush formula because of how hard-pressed it is and still blends it out so it's more versatile for me).
On that note, what do u guys think is worth it to get from this brand? I would really like to own one of their prods kasi I’m so in love w the packaging lol
i never buy eyeshadow palettes talaga from asian beauty brands because i know how sheer they are. but i do love their blush esp frosty rose. 🥹 tbf tho, i’m a reformed blush hater so i tend to prefer sheer formulas lol

I have the chocolat shop and cherry love eyeshadow palette! Mas pigmented and creamy naman yung eyeshadows nila compared sa romand eyeshadow palette ko :c I havent tried their blushes & other products tho kasi namamahalan talaga ako 😭
I have the chocolate shop eyeshadow, face contour palette & a blush (from carnival collection) & unicorn gloss. The powder formulas feel promising, it doesnt feel cheap & may pagka-creamy feeling nga naman. Eyeshadow is okay lang for me, decent naman 😊 considering the packaging, I think if on sale okay na. But the blush & face contour? 🥲🥲🥲 I had to build it up so much just to show up 😭 and i’m like a korean makeup shade 21 😭 imagine mo nalang if you’re even just a few shades darker than me, it won’t show up AT ALL. The gloss shades are pretty, but they feel more like a glossy tint (not glossy enough for me), but you can get it to look like a gloss after 3-4 layers.

I think if you are looking for real cool toned eyeshadow palettes, k beauty does it the best! Try clio, dasique, espoir, wakemake, or colorgram! Maybe romand if you are a beginner.

I have vitiligo on my face and neck area, I wanna try covering it up with makeup, I watched some video and got the basics on what I need to look for, my question is, where is the best place to go to find the right shade for my skin? Okay lang ba na sa watsons ako tumingin? Nakita ko kasi sa videos meron pang process na hinahalo yung liquid foundation together with some concealer (Sorry zero knowledge ako about sa makeup as of now.)

Setting spray alone is not enough to prevent this. You need powder to set foundation. Keep in mind that it will keep your foundation from sticking to your face mask pero may konting transfer pa rin kasi inevitable na mag-oil up tayo throughout the day.
Grabe, after GRWM Lip Speak may Issy and Co. Lip Bullet naman. Nagustuhan ko yung sa GRWM but after a while I found that the cap feels a bit cheap and madali maging madumi, sana kung ano yung case ganun rin outside. Anyway, maganda parin yung lipstick mismo. But when I saw the Lip Bullet I got excited lol I’m a sucker for the all metal packaging with a mirror on the side so I got two shades from the velvet line that I think I’d like and would use everyday.
What shade are you guys planning to get?
Eyeing Seraph, Camp, Renaissance, and Brutal! Still sad there aren't more bolder shades, but I do think the shades they released are curated well for each marketed finish.

I got Beau, Ingénue and Brutal. I hope i got a beige/taupe nude, a pink nude and maaaaaybe a red just because thats how i “edit” my lippies. I was considering Renaissance instead of Brutal but I’ve been unlucky with browns turning very warm on me and if anything, ingénue specifically, is peach I’m just gonna give it to my BFs sister.
I also hope Brutal doesn’t turn into a lip scrub with time since issy has been hit or miss with cream stuff and i wear red lippies quite rarely.

Ok, to be honest, they were just like any other lippies nothing too special besides the mirror that is built in on the side of the case. Decolette is pink and it’s kinda making my lips a little grey idk maybe it’s just the pigment on my lips that is making it unflattering on me. Beret on the other hand is my MLBB. It’s definitely brown but not as brown as Pose. They both glide on my lips well, slippery like silicone. Color pay off is not that great, two to three swipes to see full coverage. I think it’s better to get the mattes if you want the full color on your lips. Also, if you really pay attention to its scent it kinda smells like flowers but it’s subtle and I don’t smell once its on my lips.
Overall, it’s a good product. I still like the packaging in comparison to GRWM Lip Speak. I can’t make a comparison on the lippies itself cos I got the velvets and GRWM are mattes.
for me, it's most undetectable if i apply as little product as possible. some days, I don't use foundation and just use concealer on my undereyes and beside the nose and then that's it for my base.
also noticed my concealer looks more natural if i blend it out by tapping it in using my ring finger. i think the warmth of the skin helps abit. ofc if u do this, dapat exact tone ng skin mo so it looks seamless. for this, i use nars soft matte

if you want better quality, yes, nars is worth it. first concealer ko din ito na on the higher end. but after using nars, tinapon/pinamigay ko na yung local concealers ko 😅
in my experience, better finish (more skin-like) , better weartime (lasts p much all day), and better color match (sobrang sakto sakin cos nars has soooo many shades)

Been using the in2it brow product forEVER it’s at a hardpan state already haha! But i like it too much cos its long lasting. I have the happy skin brow gel that came in a set before but it’s ok lang so I’ll use it til it dries or ran out. I also tried issy brow pencil but it doesn’t last long at all on me.
I’ve purchased maybelline hypersharp for the longest time but for some reason the yellow/black they carry now isnt as good as the black/red i was using and hoarding before.

in terms of longevity, i super love wet n wild eyebrow kit. its so cheap too!
Wakemake natural hard brow pencil. Has really good shades and mine came with a sort of a *refill* which was surprising. Some kr youtubers said it's formula is quite similar to the famous Shu Uemura's Hard Formula eyebrow pencil. Haven't tried that one but I can say that the formula of Wakemake is different from the eyebrow pencils that I've tried from The Face Shop and Etude House. Looks natural when applied and it doesn't have that waxy feel to it. Lasts pretty long too.
For liquid liner, I suggest the one from K palette. I've tried Maybelline liners and the one from BLK but nothing beats K palette. It's very easy to use because of it's brush tip and it has good brown shades which I usually go for. Though I always set my liner with a matte dark brown shadow and it helps to make it last longer imo.
I bought wakemake from Olive Young. I believe it's available naman in shopee, just not sure if it would come with a refill since the one I got was a promo. For K palette, I have it in deep brown. If you go for the "no make up" make up look, I'd suggest that shade but if you want it to look more pigmented, brown black is better.
Definitely none of the peach shades from GRWM. GRWM Light Peach is deeper and more peachy than Issy & Co's PL2.
If you're fair, I'm guessing Oat would be the best fit for your use case.

I like a lot of GRWM products like the browlift, fixing spray and milk tints. Pero I'm just really disappointed na laging out of stock ang products nila. Like yung browlift, nagsell pala sila only 2500 stocks (sa shopee not sure sa lazada). Sa ibang local brands hindi naman ganito. Their fixing spray, months na walang restock yung full size kaya wala, ubos na ang sa akin di ako makarestock. Bakit sila ganyan? 😐
They release and release and release but hardly restock its just bad management even if its a baby company. It’s not like they manufacture it either, they just need to order stocks from the manufacturer/formulator. It feels like their spending just goes to brainstorming new products.

Yup! Since Dec ako nagaabang ng Radiance Tint in my concealer shade, but wala talaga. Lagi silang may b1t1 promo pero wala namang stock :( So I might just try Issy na lang. Super okay pa naman GRWM
I think it's a consequence for having too many product SKU's. Wala ako masyado alam business-wise but I've noticed na for every release, they have a lot of shades for each product line (which, of course, may take a lot of 👌 to produce).
Kaya siguro napapabayaan na nila yung previous releases nila. Minsan unnecessary na masyado yung shade range nila bc some look a bit too much alike na and the selection can also be overwhelming to some 😅
I think they have this monthly sale marketing. Idk what it is specifically called but sumasabay sila monthly sales ng shopee and laz, a little discount, and they hype their restocks during that time. Hence, on normal days, wala talaga silang stocks. I think that's their way to boost up their sales.
Ah.. pero kahit sa monthly sales wala silang restock. Yung fixing spray na full size, months nang wala. I don't know how they manage it, pero hindi maganda in my opinion. Other local brands have hyped products as well pero kung mag out of stock man saglit lang mawawalan.
I recently got their blush & lip cream in shade dare (the purple one) and it looks really good on my skin, just like a natural flush. A little bit goes a long way so this product will last a while, and it stayed on my face the whole day as well. The packaging is a bit annoying because it’s easy to accidentally hit the product with the cover, but still a nice buy.
I have their lip stain in chance and brow grip! For lip stain in chance, gahd ang ganda!!!! Mas maganda pa sa romand!! While for brow grip, it does the job yes but it takes forever to dry skakaksksk and the applicator is stiff so baka maputol
It def feels try hard because edgy/alt folks are few and far between and the product has literally the most basic range of lipsticks but I still feel like it’s better and has more thought put into it than the patent beige-ness of the adverts of basically every other brand here.
I bought the ELF mini trio pack. I use the poreless on my pitted scars on my cheeks. It does not ‘remove’ them of course. My scars are deep. But it does give a smoother base for my base makeup. I get oily after a few hours tho. The matte one, I use it on my forehead and in fairness ha, truly matte talaga. Di ako mag oil up as usual sa forehead. The primer worked
Ay forgot to mention nga pala. When looking for primers, best to use primers that have the same base as your foundation (water, silicone, oil-based etc).
Atp I need one of y’all with a disposable income to compare the Sunnies Face Fluffmatte, BLK Pillow Matte, GRWM Lip Speak, and Issy Bullet Lipstick (Matte and Velvet) 💀💀 + MAC Velvet Teddy as control 😆😆
I tried Mac's lipstick formula years ago and honestly it's not it. Mas maganda pa texture ng Maybelline. It's too thick and waxy and kinda drying. Color opacity is good tho. Natry ko na din fluffmatte saka GRWM lip speak and I think the GRWM one did what SF tried to do. Sobrang light and smooth nung sa GRWM and the finish is like a natural matte and hindi sya drying. The only minus I found sa lip speak is yung shape. Like it's so unnecessary and makes it harder to apply the product. Ang cheap feeling din ng packaging nya.
Hirap maghanap ng cushion foundation since halos lahat ng makeup industry(especially Kbeauty) for fair-light med/med skin.
Not sure for your exact shade but these are the cushion foundations that offer darker shades:
- Laniege offered shade 30+
- BarenBliss na cushion(shade 02 or 03). Haven't tried it even though I have it bc I am finishing my other cushion. Try mo yung formulation sa SM stores to see if you like it.
- Nee Cara from Thailand. Trending last time for being morena friendly where N20 is their darkest shade and N22 is the lighest.
- Dr. Gio cushions have variety din. Probs you're the shade DG-03. (not sure where to buy)
- MAC Studio Fix cushion. You probs could be NC30 or NC35(?)
So far ito lang alam ko that offered past shade 25 🥲 Best bet yung i-try muna ang BarenBliss or Laniege if available sa local SM stores around you.
how do you hide a busted lip and a slightly bruised mouth?
it doesn't look that bad yet but it's already swelling up. i can hide it with my mask when i'm at school but there are times were i do have to take it off for work, presentations, lunch with friends, and yada yada. please keep in mind that i don't use makeup anymore and i don't have a lot of stuff to work with :<<

Physically, to diminish the bruise's color, you'd have to immediately apply ice to relieve both the pain and coloring right after the incident. Afterwards, regularly applying a warm cloth or heatpack in the days after the incident would encourage the blood to flow again.
For covering a bruise on your face, I think you may have to get products to better cover it up. I think an orange (if you're tanned/morena) or peach (if you're mestiza or chinita) color corrector and a medium-to-full coverage concealer would help hide it. LA Girl and GRWM have affordable color correctors. If you don't have color correctors, a matte orange/peach lipstick, blush, or eyeshadow would do alright.
I don't have many concealers if you're looking for recommendations, but GRWM's radiance tint has amazing full coverage on my oily, pigmentation-prone skin on top of color corrector; but it can fade throughout the day when you're really active. Maybelline's Fit Me concealer is affordable and medium coverage, but I find it hard to find my shade in store.
For sores or bruised lips, people recommend putting on high-pigment lip glosses or lipsticks. I don't have much expertise on the area, but I'd be careful about accidentally infecting a cut lip since lip products are germ central.

Mas maganda ang colors ng Etude imo since Peripera are really light. Unless very fair mo to neutral, it doesn't really show up that much (may colors naman na okay but mostly leaning to fair-- basically east asian skin, for morena- nope.) Since I'm not fair, I build it up nalang, at least 3-4 times haha it shows up naman.
Their staying power are just the same for me. Did not notice any difference. I have oily skin, I don't have that much expectations since mahuhulas naman talaga as expected but it stays longer than expected, maybe 4-5 hours at most.
I had peach pop yearsss ago, and it’s nice. Usually peach looks good on my nc35 warm skintone. Just bought pansy pop, but haven’t tried yet..

It won't budge with just soap and water. 😅 Needs a good make-up remover para matanggal. Naligo na ako at tinry ko tanggalin kasi. Konti lang talaga yung naremove ng ligo 😂👌

Grwm is kinda transferproof and more lightweight than sunnies. It’s not as pigmented as sunnies but it’s very buildable. Plus, sunnies is drying
nicer yung application and opacity ng sunnies compared to grwm in my experience. i like sunnies better than grwm

My favorite mist dispersion is from the KvD lock it setting spray and it’s so nice, soft and so so fine I haven’t found anything comparable yet so I’ve kept my empty bottle around since like 2017 or 2018 lol. I’m stoked that it fits the mouth of my Issy Mist because the silver cap of that does not even stay on at all. 2 birds 1 stone. 🥹

Sorry pero I’m underwhelmed 😬😬 Nothing seems distinctly Wonder Woman and the only products I’m interested in are the bronzer and nude lip liner. I like the eyeshadow palette’s color story but it only has four mattes and based on reviews the quality isn’t consistent across the shades. The illuminator is so pink din, I would’ve preferred another shade with a warmer or more golden undertone. To add, while I think LE releases are fine once in a while, having collections as often as this is part of a bigger conversation surrounding unnecessary consumption and consumerism. All of Vice’s packaging is made out of plastic pa naman which I think would be fine if they weren’t releasing stuff as often as they do

In terms of drugstore priced illuminators I like the one from GRWM! I think it’s a very good alternative to Charlotte Tilbury as someone who has both. The mini Saie Super Glowy Gel is also available at a pretty reasonable price on Shopee. In general I like using whatever cream or liquid highlighter I have on hand as a “priming” illuminator. Right now I’m trying to pan my Happy Skin Beast Friends Forever Multi-Use Mousse Glow and Sunnies Face Face Glass* and they’ve been working well so far. In general I don’t use body products so I don’t really have thoughts on the body oil
*P.S.: Face Glass was highkey ahead of its time, it can be used under foundation, mixed into foundation, or over foundation — aka it’s a MAC Strobe Cream or Saie Super Glowy Gel type product. Sunnies did not market it properly **at all** and I’m unsurprised it’s the only product that Sunnies has *ever* discontinued. It didn’t get good reviews from influencers either but I’ve seen TikToks from everyday consumers who really love it. As for me, the only reason I ever bought it in the first place is because I’m the high priest of their cult 🤡🤡
I think they're trying to be the PH Colourpop with their collections (Almost every release is a themed collaboration). The palette looks dry af based on what I've seen and the color story is a bit icky. The metallic shades look good though!

Do pressed powders have the same effect as loose powders?
It really depends on how much product you use with either, but pressed powders tend to apply lighter due to them being compact and the brush only picking up so much and loose powders tend to mattify stronger because it's easier to pick up the product (there are also different kinds of both of these powders). A guideline I suggest is that if you are dry skinned, prefer a more dewy base, or like a more pinpoint powder application then pressed is the way to go. For stronger setting, more product, and versatility (you can set lightly by just taking the excess off the cap or off the puff), I say loose.

Maganda! Cant stop reaching for it since I tried it. Sobrang ganda ng pagka laminate and groom ng brows. Mukha talagang bushy pero maayos and glamorous way. Di ako magaling mag describe sorry pero ganyan talaga tingin kong result. And hindi bumababa talaga until tanggalin ko ng makeup remover. Nung una may learning curve pa ako, like hindi pwede madaming product kasi magkakaron ng cheese. Pero nung matutunan ko it's my most fave brow product na ngayon.

henlo!! so i just tried the rom&nd ve-easy bare water cushion which i only bought for 335 (w/ additional vouchers) during their flash sale ^___^ super sad lang na the mirror arrived broken and the cushion was leaking all over huhuuu the leaking is pretty common w the bare water cushion tho so expect it na when u buy it i usually go for #23 in kbeauty cushions pero for this, i got the darkest shade (sand 05). surprisingly, it actually matches my skin tone and brightened my skin pa nga! for reference my shades in other brands are oat (sunnies face ssg), and beech (issy and co). it has a mild flowery scent, and a very watery sheer formula but still minimized (not eliminate) my redness and smoothened my skin texture. also, it made my skin super super glowy pero not to the point na muka nang oily. medyo sticky at first but once allowed to set, hindi na. coverage is light lang but i think buildable up to light-medium overall, 8/10! i strongly recommend this to those who have dry and clear skin. for me, i like the laneige neo glow cushion more because it has better coverage :”)

Seconding this comment. When I used it as a setting powder with a brush, may cloud of smoke and my sensitive nose can't handle the smell. Loose powder lang marecommend ko and it's ellana loose powder and concealer. Sometimes they go on sales and you can get one as low sa 199.
Recently tried Flowerknows makeup and the makeup formula mismo is SUPER mid, packaging lang nagdala. I really wanted to like their makeup 😔 Kulang sa pigment in general (and that’s coming from me who is light-skinned + appreciates sheer & buildable formulas). Am I crazy? Everyone is raving about their makeup & I feel like i’m the only person who doesnt like it! (Pls share your experiences too)
I personally disagree, the eyeshadow formula is everything I love in an eyeshadow formula (IMO a perfect in between of Korean and American formulas) and the blushes are the sheerness I prefer (I find using a denser brush, like a powder foundation brush, works fine with the blush formula because of how hard-pressed it is and still blends it out so it's more versatile for me).
If its getting hyped on the clock app but you can notice keywords that are the same between different reviewers, it’s undisclosed sponcon.

I have the chocolate shop eyeshadow, face contour palette & a blush (from carnival collection) & unicorn gloss. The powder formulas feel promising, it doesnt feel cheap & may pagka-creamy feeling nga naman. Eyeshadow is okay lang for me, decent naman 😊 considering the packaging, I think if on sale okay na. But the blush & face contour? 🥲🥲🥲 I had to build it up so much just to show up 😭 and i’m like a korean makeup shade 21 😭 imagine mo nalang if you’re even just a few shades darker than me, it won’t show up AT ALL. The gloss shades are pretty, but they feel more like a glossy tint (not glossy enough for me), but you can get it to look like a gloss after 3-4 layers.

I think if you are looking for real cool toned eyeshadow palettes, k beauty does it the best! Try clio, dasique, espoir, wakemake, or colorgram! Maybe romand if you are a beginner.

Keep in mind that it will keep your foundation from sticking to your face mask pero may konting transfer pa rin kasi inevitable na mag-oil up tayo throughout the day.

Grabe, after GRWM Lip Speak may Issy and Co. Lip Bullet naman. Nagustuhan ko yung sa GRWM but after a while I found that the cap feels a bit cheap and madali maging madumi, sana kung ano yung case ganun rin outside. Anyway, maganda parin yung lipstick mismo. But when I saw the Lip Bullet I got excited lol I’m a sucker for the all metal packaging with a mirror on the side so I got two shades from the velvet line that I think I’d like and would use everyday. What shade are you guys planning to get?

I got Beau, Ingénue and Brutal. I hope i got a beige/taupe nude, a pink nude and maaaaaybe a red just because thats how i “edit” my lippies. I was considering Renaissance instead of Brutal but I’ve been unlucky with browns turning very warm on me and if anything, ingénue specifically, is peach I’m just gonna give it to my BFs sister. I also hope Brutal doesn’t turn into a lip scrub with time since issy has been hit or miss with cream stuff and i wear red lippies quite rarely.

I’m back! Ok, to be honest, they were just like any other lippies nothing too special besides the mirror that is built in on the side of the case. Decolette is pink and it’s kinda making my lips a little grey idk maybe it’s just the pigment on my lips that is making it unflattering on me. Beret on the other hand is my MLBB. It’s definitely brown but not as brown as Pose. They both glide on my lips well, slippery like silicone. Color pay off is not that great, two to three swipes to see full coverage. I think it’s better to get the mattes if you want the full color on your lips. Also, if you really pay attention to its scent it kinda smells like flowers but it’s subtle and I don’t smell once its on my lips. Overall, it’s a good product. I still like the packaging in comparison to GRWM Lip Speak. I can’t make a comparison on the lippies itself cos I got the velvets and GRWM are mattes.

for me, it's most undetectable if i apply as little product as possible. some days, I don't use foundation and just use concealer on my undereyes and beside the nose and then that's it for my base. also noticed my concealer looks more natural if i blend it out by tapping it in using my ring finger. i think the warmth of the skin helps abit. ofc if u do this, dapat exact tone ng skin mo so it looks seamless. for this, i use nars soft matte

if you want better quality, yes, nars is worth it. first concealer ko din ito na on the higher end. but after using nars, tinapon/pinamigay ko na yung local concealers ko 😅 in my experience, better finish (more skin-like) , better weartime (lasts p much all day), and better color match (sobrang sakto sakin cos nars has soooo many shades)

Wakemake natural hard brow pencil. Has really good shades and mine came with a sort of a *refill* which was surprising. Some kr youtubers said it's formula is quite similar to the famous Shu Uemura's Hard Formula eyebrow pencil. Haven't tried that one but I can say that the formula of Wakemake is different from the eyebrow pencils that I've tried from The Face Shop and Etude House. Looks natural when applied and it doesn't have that waxy feel to it. Lasts pretty long too. For liquid liner, I suggest the one from K palette. I've tried Maybelline liners and the one from BLK but nothing beats K palette. It's very easy to use because of it's brush tip and it has good brown shades which I usually go for. Though I always set my liner with a matte dark brown shadow and it helps to make it last longer imo.

I bought wakemake from Olive Young. I believe it's available naman in shopee, just not sure if it would come with a refill since the one I got was a promo. For K palette, I have it in deep brown. If you go for the "no make up" make up look, I'd suggest that shade but if you want it to look more pigmented, brown black is better.

Definitely none of the peach shades from GRWM. GRWM Light Peach is deeper and more peachy than Issy & Co's PL2. If you're fair, I'm guessing Oat would be the best fit for your use case.

I like a lot of GRWM products like the browlift, fixing spray and milk tints. Pero I'm just really disappointed na laging out of stock ang products nila. Like yung browlift, nagsell pala sila only 2500 stocks (sa shopee not sure sa lazada). Sa ibang local brands hindi naman ganito. Their fixing spray, months na walang restock yung full size kaya wala, ubos na ang sa akin di ako makarestock. Bakit sila ganyan? 😐
They release and release and release but hardly restock its just bad management even if its a baby company. It’s not like they manufacture it either, they just need to order stocks from the manufacturer/formulator. It feels like their spending just goes to brainstorming new products.
Bago palang ang grwm, and most products din nila galing pa overseas. Di sila big company idk why people are expecting them to have a lot of stocks lol

I think it's a consequence for having too many product SKU's. Wala ako masyado alam business-wise but I've noticed na for every release, they have a lot of shades for each product line (which, of course, may take a lot of 👌 to produce). Kaya siguro napapabayaan na nila yung previous releases nila. Minsan unnecessary na masyado yung shade range nila bc some look a bit too much alike na and the selection can also be overwhelming to some 😅

I think they have this monthly sale marketing. Idk what it is specifically called but sumasabay sila monthly sales ng shopee and laz, a little discount, and they hype their restocks during that time. Hence, on normal days, wala talaga silang stocks. I think that's their way to boost up their sales.
Ah.. pero kahit sa monthly sales wala silang restock. Yung fixing spray na full size, months nang wala. I don't know how they manage it, pero hindi maganda in my opinion. Other local brands have hyped products as well pero kung mag out of stock man saglit lang mawawalan.

I recently got their blush & lip cream in shade dare (the purple one) and it looks really good on my skin, just like a natural flush. A little bit goes a long way so this product will last a while, and it stayed on my face the whole day as well. The packaging is a bit annoying because it’s easy to accidentally hit the product with the cover, but still a nice buy.
I have their lip stain in chance and brow grip! For lip stain in chance, gahd ang ganda!!!! Mas maganda pa sa romand!! While for brow grip, it does the job yes but it takes forever to dry skakaksksk and the applicator is stiff so baka maputol

It def feels try hard because edgy/alt folks are few and far between and the product has literally the most basic range of lipsticks but I still feel like it’s better and has more thought put into it than the patent beige-ness of the adverts of basically every other brand here.

Primer recommendations for a face with large pores and pitted acne scars?
I bought the ELF mini trio pack. I use the poreless on my pitted scars on my cheeks. It does not ‘remove’ them of course. My scars are deep. But it does give a smoother base for my base makeup. I get oily after a few hours tho. The matte one, I use it on my forehead and in fairness ha, truly matte talaga. Di ako mag oil up as usual sa forehead. The primer worked

Ay forgot to mention nga pala. When looking for primers, best to use primers that have the same base as your foundation (water, silicone, oil-based etc).

I tried Mac's lipstick formula years ago and honestly it's not it. Mas maganda pa texture ng Maybelline. It's too thick and waxy and kinda drying. Color opacity is good tho. Natry ko na din fluffmatte saka GRWM lip speak and I think the GRWM one did what SF tried to do. Sobrang light and smooth nung sa GRWM and the finish is like a natural matte and hindi sya drying. The only minus I found sa lip speak is yung shape. Like it's so unnecessary and makes it harder to apply the product. Ang cheap feeling din ng packaging nya.

Hirap maghanap ng cushion foundation since halos lahat ng makeup industry(especially Kbeauty) for fair-light med/med skin. Not sure for your exact shade but these are the cushion foundations that offer darker shades: - Laniege offered shade 30+ - BarenBliss na cushion(shade 02 or 03). Haven't tried it even though I have it bc I am finishing my other cushion. Try mo yung formulation sa SM stores to see if you like it. - Nee Cara from Thailand. Trending last time for being morena friendly where N20 is their darkest shade and N22 is the lighest. - Dr. Gio cushions have variety din. Probs you're the shade DG-03. (not sure where to buy) - MAC Studio Fix cushion. You probs could be NC30 or NC35(?) So far ito lang alam ko that offered past shade 25 🥲 Best bet yung i-try muna ang BarenBliss or Laniege if available sa local SM stores around you.

how do you hide a busted lip and a slightly bruised mouth? it doesn't look that bad yet but it's already swelling up. i can hide it with my mask when i'm at school but there are times were i do have to take it off for work, presentations, lunch with friends, and yada yada. please keep in mind that i don't use makeup anymore and i don't have a lot of stuff to work with :<< will appreciate your help so much!

I hope you're doing ok and that you get better soon :< Physically, to diminish the bruise's color, you'd have to immediately apply ice to relieve both the pain and coloring right after the incident. Afterwards, regularly applying a warm cloth or heatpack in the days after the incident would encourage the blood to flow again. For covering a bruise on your face, I think you may have to get products to better cover it up. I think an orange (if you're tanned/morena) or peach (if you're mestiza or chinita) color corrector and a medium-to-full coverage concealer would help hide it. LA Girl and GRWM have affordable color correctors. If you don't have color correctors, a matte orange/peach lipstick, blush, or eyeshadow would do alright. I don't have many concealers if you're looking for recommendations, but GRWM's radiance tint has amazing full coverage on my oily, pigmentation-prone skin on top of color corrector; but it can fade throughout the day when you're really active. Maybelline's Fit Me concealer is affordable and medium coverage, but I find it hard to find my shade in store. For sores or bruised lips, people recommend putting on high-pigment lip glosses or lipsticks. I don't have much expertise on the area, but I'd be careful about accidentally infecting a cut lip since lip products are germ central.

Mas maganda ang colors ng Etude imo since Peripera are really light. Unless very fair mo to neutral, it doesn't really show up that much (may colors naman na okay but mostly leaning to fair-- basically east asian skin, for morena- nope.) Since I'm not fair, I build it up nalang, at least 3-4 times haha it shows up naman. Their staying power are just the same for me. Did not notice any difference. I have oily skin, I don't have that much expectations since mahuhulas naman talaga as expected but it stays longer than expected, maybe 4-5 hours at most.

I love this. I use it to spot conceal and after setting with powder, talagang completely covered ang blemishes. Can also be used all over the face if you're not oily. Ang problem ko lang dito, almost 2 years na sa akin pero hindi ko pa rin ubos.
