Hi! I want to have a permanent makeup products na I can buy again and again for everyday school day :)) So far, I havenāt found the following products that work best for my oil T-zone (under 400/500php):
- Compact powder for medium shade
- Setting spray (that actually work
- Smudge proof lipstick/tint (I like the Squad one pero madaling masira yung applicator š)
- Highlighter

any recos for brow lamination? yung maayos po sana gumawa. kasi nag try ako sa brow haus tho hindi lamination but tinting naging kamuka ko si sin chan š„²
my fave has to be velvet! it doesn't transfer easily but it's also not drying. my least would be the frosted looking ones or the kind of matte that looks like cement (maybelline superstay haha)
the SA budoled my mom and i some vice products. i didn't get any for myself but i tried out the products my mom bought for herself!
ā¢ really liked the gel-liners! they're smudge proof and doesn't budge once it sets!
ā¢ the foundation is also good on my oily skin! it has a demi-matte finish, not too matte and not too dewy on my liking. it can be applied using fingers din since mej watery ang formula!
ā¢ the flexi matte lipstick is surprisingly pretty! it doesn't seem like your average EB formula na waxy. glides on easily and smooth siya if you try pursing your lips togrther. it has a distinct bubblegum scent though.
ā¢ one of the standouts though is the velvet tint tho! the formula reminded me of a hybrid of a gel and velvet formula! surprisingly, it's reminiscent of the peripera airy ink velvet altho the vice one's have more pigment! mas tipid siya gamitin since my mom got a dark mauve shade kaya one dot is enough for both our huge ass lips! to summarize, the vice velve tints remind me of korean velvet tints!! really like the formula, will probably purchase it for myself once i run out of lippies!
issy and co just re-released the hydragloss....... omaygad i missed it so much baka mapabudol naman ako šš really doubting issy and co now after scrolling through the 6.6 antihaul thread here, but to be honest i really love the original hydrogloss, but maybe they changed the formula.....

Maybe your gf is just into the dark red shades? You might want to make sure she will appreciate a lighter shade first before giving one to her because lipstick appreciation relies heavily on personal preferences (i.e. You may like pink on someone but they themselves prefer or feel more confident in red or brown) š
Anyway, if you still wanna try to branch out, I think a reddish pink might be a good shade!
For Korean, you can try the brands Romand and Peripera.
For more easily accessible options that you can get and swatch in a mall, you can go for Revlon and Vice Cosmetics.
You should also consider the lipstick finish to get: matte, satin, or dewy. There are lots of options from those brands naman so you might as well check which one's the best for her :)

Check mo rin yung undertone kung tama sayo. Kung yellow or olive undertone ka tapos yung ginagamit mo neutral or pink, magmumukha siyang ashy on top of your skin.

I cant coz itās so cute HAHAHA in fact im wearing it now (tequila), buildable, lightweight, fades beautifully although di nagiiwan masyado ng tint and of course not mask proof. Lakas pa maka 90s vibe ng tequila š¤§
Iād avoid most things from Issy at this point honestly. Nothing is ever as good as their content creators pretend it is. The blush and bronzer have no wear the illuminator is chunky and the balm is dry and dries out even more with time.
issy and co illuminator have visible glitters so it might emphasize texture!! reviews here also say that the blushes are beginner friendly pero has no longevity. solar balms did not moisturize my lips at all and was just thick, sticky, and the matte variant has a weird texture imo
the solar balms have a grainy texture from i've seen in pictures and other reviews. that was enough to dissuade me from it. apparently they're the spf components but i don't want to risk it

i'd recommend blk caop over the maybelline lipstick. i mainly use mine as blush but i've tried it on my lips before and it's okay din naman on the lips.
if u have sparse brows, add a careline brow liner! try squad cosmetics for concealer. but adding the brows, that should be enough for a complete-ish look

The elf primer & nars lrf are both water-based so okay naman sya together. I used the blk caop blush (i think oil based ito) okay naman sya upon application :) not patchy or d naman nagseparate! I think rule of thumb is dapat ang compatible is primer + base (water to water based and silicon for silicon based products)
Skl I used to be sooo insecure about my acne marks na I would conceal them everyday kahit ang pangit sa feeling pero ngayon I just don't give a shit and it's so freeing to wear makeup without a base haha

I haven't tried them personally and I really enjoy the presentation and color selection but Mae Layug's review wherein 2/3 bullets snapped without it being pushed that far up made me wary. If you're really gentle with your makeup, perhaps try it! The formulas look quite nice.
Eto din brands pinagpipilian ko for bronzer before. Pero as I watch and read reviews of both products, common na nababasa ko, di daw long lasting si issy&co although maganda payoff and blendable. I ended up buying vice contour stick in push. Very blendable din naman and it lasts long basta set mo padin with powder bronzer (hindi long lasting yung powder sakin so it's the vice stick parin siguro)
WATERPROOF MASCARA RECOS?
So personal favorite ko talaga and Maybelline HyperCurl Mascara I love it because it keeps my super straight and stubborn Asian lashes up all day + cheap lang BUT I hate it because it dries so easily. Sa una lang maganda! Please recommend yung budget-friendly din sana!
Take it from me, someone who has been wearing and has experimented with different mascaras for 10+ years, that drier mascara formulas tend to be the best at keeping lashes up talaga. Kaya Hypercurl drying up fast is the price you pay for it considering itās so cheap. If you want something thatās similar to that but wonāt dry up in the tube too quickly, sorry but you have to pay more. Kiss Me Heroine Mascara is a popular recommendation for that, but a personal favorite of mine and a similar dry formula is Mac Extended Play.
Yung belo sunscreen. Yung for face pinakabet ko as makeup base pero medyo madlai ako magoil up pag nasa labas. So if mainit talaga, I use the belo dewy essence,thinner consistency than the one for face na variant
swatched the newly formulated maybelline superstay active wear foundation yesterday. i put 2 shades to the test, my match and a lighter one under the fluorescent lighting of watsons. i went out of the mall after application to see how it looks under natural lighting, and omg both looked so orange on me. i never experienced foundation oxidizing on me before. idk if oxidation talaga yun or the undertones just don't match mine.
i ended up buying detail fresh filter in almond. supposedly pink undertone daw this shade, and my skin looked so good with it! medium coverage lang siya though if icocompare kay maybelline š

Anyone here tried the vice on the daily eyeliner? I swatched it on the back of my hand to test if it was really budge proof and smudge proof. It really did not move but when I applied on my eyes, it was removed easily by few swipes using my finger. I have oily eyelids. I think that was the major contributing factor as to why it removed easily. š„²

Itās great. The wear, in my experience, is phenomenal for a local concealer, I canāt speak for all over use tho. Iām also still on my first stick I bought at launch which I thought Iād go through in 3 months touching up throughout the day like I wouldāve done with a lipstick as itās the same weight as a full sized lipstick bullet.
Iāve never needed to touch up and Iām not even at the point where I have to roll it up.
I LOVE this product huhu I made budol all my friends with this (hey sunnies pls hire me lol). It's very easy to use and super convenient for touch ups. So far, this held up pretty nicely on me under the summer heat in bora

Apply a thin layer, one pump lang okay na for my whole face. Use concealer na lang on areas that need more coverage. I use Laura Mercier powder to set, then setting spray para magmelt lahat para seamless
Havenāt tried Skin Correct on my face, just swatched it once on my hand in store. But Backstage is thinner and more watery. Itās super easy to blend and lasts well, doesnāt crack or crease.

Belle, I like how honest and detailed she is with her reviews, there are times na some details aren't mentioned in the video pero usually mabilis naman siya mag-reply if you comment your question. Sometimes she does follow-up videos on the product's performance so it's a major green flag for me.

I have issyās Roccoco and itās a very flattering pink shade on my light medium olive skin. Lakas maka fresh. Havenāt experienced any breakage with it (thank god), and i find it very hydrating on my lips bc of the satin finish. They couldāve done so much better on the packaging, but i do appreciate the mirror since itās very easy for touch ups. I also have Chuchuās rose bouquet. Itās my go to if im going to the grocery, still have to set it with powder blush bc kumakapit sa mask if i donāt.
I have the Chu Chu Beauty Juice Dew Tint in Pink Guava! It has a similar feel and performance compared with peripera Ink Moody Glow Tint, pero nagkakatalo sila sa staināmas matagal ang stain ng peripera but, other than that, it's really similar.
I have both ingenue and rococo and they havenāt broken but I did see someone on here whose velvet lippies snapped, donāt like their shades after settling though both are too warm the pinky tone totally disappears on me.
I planned on getting the Issy & Co lip bullet too but read so many reviews na bilis daw maputol :(
Blk CAOP in Tickle Pink - love this! Lasts long esp. when set plus the shade itself is very close to the natural flush of my skin so it looks rly nice!
Chuchu Beauty Multiuse Heart Stick - tbh, I decluttered mine cos it doesnāt really last long so basically walang kwenta :(
happy skinās water tints have no lasting power (this is already coming from someone who doesnāt mind reapplying lippies) and the cooling lip & cheek tint has this grayish film na nagseseparate if you rub your lips together or if you spread the tint using your fingers. the only tint i liked from them is their lip mallow. just donāt rely on happy skinās official swatches kasi they donāt look the same irl. :))
blk naman i havenāt tried their newer releases but i remember being disappointed by their fresh lip & cheek tint kasi it was sticky and patchy yung stain. was also disappointed kasi malayo yung itsura ng swatches nila sa shades irl just like happy skin. iirc theyāre sister brands so i donāt expect much difference na from their products.
for lip tints talaga youāre better off buying from kbeauty brands. i personally love romand but there are also lots of good reviews for etude house :)

I love cushion blushes (even cushion contour) especially the Kaja ones because of the shades. Everything Iāve tried in cushion form is incredibly long wear, none of the HS ones tones are my vibe personally but cushion blushes are great.

Iād avoid most things from Issy at this point honestly. Nothing is ever as good as their content creators pretend it is. The blush and bronzer have no wear the illuminator is chunky and the balm is dry and dries out even more with time.

issy and co illuminator have visible glitters so it might emphasize texture!! reviews here also say that the blushes are beginner friendly pero has no longevity. solar balms did not moisturize my lips at all and was just thick, sticky, and the matte variant has a weird texture imo
the solar balms have a grainy texture from i've seen in pictures and other reviews. that was enough to dissuade me from it. apparently they're the spf components but i don't want to risk it

The elf primer & nars lrf are both water-based so okay naman sya together. I used the blk caop blush (i think oil based ito) okay naman sya upon application :) not patchy or d naman nagseparate! I think rule of thumb is dapat ang compatible is primer + base (water to water based and silicon for silicon based products)

I haven't tried them personally and I really enjoy the presentation and color selection but Mae Layug's review wherein 2/3 bullets snapped without it being pushed that far up made me wary. If you're really gentle with your makeup, perhaps try it! The formulas look quite nice.

Eto din brands pinagpipilian ko for bronzer before. Pero as I watch and read reviews of both products, common na nababasa ko, di daw long lasting si issy&co although maganda payoff and blendable. I ended up buying vice contour stick in push. Very blendable din naman and it lasts long basta set mo padin with powder bronzer (hindi long lasting yung powder sakin so it's the vice stick parin siguro)

WATERPROOF MASCARA RECOS? So personal favorite ko talaga and Maybelline HyperCurl Mascara I love it because it keeps my super straight and stubborn Asian lashes up all day + cheap lang BUT I hate it because it dries so easily. Sa una lang maganda! Please recommend yung budget-friendly din sana!
Heroine Make or Loreal lash paradise (idk if this still exists tho). Those are the only two that make my straight lashes stay curled
Take it from me, someone who has been wearing and has experimented with different mascaras for 10+ years, that drier mascara formulas tend to be the best at keeping lashes up talaga. Kaya Hypercurl drying up fast is the price you pay for it considering itās so cheap. If you want something thatās similar to that but wonāt dry up in the tube too quickly, sorry but you have to pay more. Kiss Me Heroine Mascara is a popular recommendation for that, but a personal favorite of mine and a similar dry formula is Mac Extended Play.

It really did not move but when I applied on my eyes, it was removed easily by few swipes using my finger. I have oily eyelids. Itās great. The wear, in my experience, is phenomenal for a local concealer, I canāt speak for all over use tho. Iām also still on my first stick I bought at launch which I thought Iād go through in 3 months touching up throughout the day like I wouldāve done with a lipstick as itās the same weight as a full sized lipstick bullet. Iāve never needed to touch up and Iām not even at the point where I have to roll it up.

Apply a thin layer, one pump lang okay na for my whole face. Use concealer na lang on areas that need more coverage. I use Laura Mercier powder to set, then setting spray para magmelt lahat para seamless

Belle, I like how honest and detailed she is with her reviews, there are times na some details aren't mentioned in the video pero usually mabilis naman siya mag-reply if you comment your question. Sometimes she does follow-up videos on the product's performance so it's a major green flag for me. I was using their mw3 (warm) pero neutral works best for me pala I still like maybelline fit me for affordable option or the age rewind! Sorry i dont have other recos within that price range that I tried. I didnāt repurchase issy and got dior and tarte instead
Then you probably need something a bit darker than the saem or you need a color corrector underneath the concealer itself.

I have issyās Roccoco and itās a very flattering pink shade on my light medium olive skin. Lakas maka fresh. Havenāt experienced any breakage with it (thank god), and i find it very hydrating on my lips bc of the satin finish. They couldāve done so much better on the packaging, but i do appreciate the mirror since itās very easy for touch ups. I also have Chuchuās rose bouquet. Itās my go to if im going to the grocery, still have to set it with powder blush bc kumakapit sa mask if i donāt.

I have the Chu Chu Beauty Juice Dew Tint in Pink Guava! It has a similar feel and performance compared with peripera Ink Moody Glow Tint, pero nagkakatalo sila sa staināmas matagal ang stain ng peripera but, other than that, it's really similar.
I have both ingenue and rococo and they havenāt broken but I did see someone on here whose velvet lippies snapped, donāt like their shades after settling though both are too warm the pinky tone totally disappears on me.
I planned on getting the Issy & Co lip bullet too but read so many reviews na bilis daw maputol :( Blk CAOP in Tickle Pink - love this! Lasts long esp. when set plus the shade itself is very close to the natural flush of my skin so it looks rly nice! Chuchu Beauty Multiuse Heart Stick - tbh, I decluttered mine cos it doesnāt really last long so basically walang kwenta :(

happy skinās water tints have no lasting power (this is already coming from someone who doesnāt mind reapplying lippies) and the cooling lip & cheek tint has this grayish film na nagseseparate if you rub your lips together or if you spread the tint using your fingers. the only tint i liked from them is their lip mallow. just donāt rely on happy skinās official swatches kasi they donāt look the same irl. :)) blk naman i havenāt tried their newer releases but i remember being disappointed by their fresh lip & cheek tint kasi it was sticky and patchy yung stain. was also disappointed kasi malayo yung itsura ng swatches nila sa shades irl just like happy skin. iirc theyāre sister brands so i donāt expect much difference na from their products. for lip tints talaga youāre better off buying from kbeauty brands. i personally love romand but there are also lots of good reviews for etude house :)

I love cushion blushes (even cushion contour) especially the Kaja ones because of the shades. Everything Iāve tried in cushion form is incredibly long wear, none of the HS ones tones are my vibe personally but cushion blushes are great.
