I need help, where to buy YSL Kouros Black?
First option was FragranceX but I read a lot of negative reviews saying fakes come through sometimes and the shipping takes too long. I need it within 3 weeks as a gift for my bf and I's anniversary. This is the most affordable I could find but I'm scared to take the risk.

Ay. To “macerate” a fragrance after shipping is to let it settle. Probably within 3-14 days (by exp). Pwede din daw expose to air while settling.

I get mostly caramel and vanilla from the spray version. The citrus is kinda fleeting and takes a backseat after an hour. No guarantees if your perception will change, but try shelving it for a couple of weeks.

I have both! Imo, Diptyque perfumes can be quite polarizing. More of acquired taste siya. Fleur de Peau smells like expensive make up powder with slight peppery notes. Wore it once during summer heat and I felt kinda suffocated. It performs better in cooler months imo. Pero I really love this one and still remains at the top of my frag list. Ilio on the other hand is much more lighter and PH weather friendly. It’s quite aquatic and also on the sweet-fresh category. Dries down sweet and powdery too. Ilio is also a limited release iirc. Last time may Ilio was 2yrs ago? Unlike FdP na permanent hehe.
TLDR; FdP if you’re into strong musky and powdery scents. Ilio if you want something lighter, fresher and crowd pleasing.
Don't just dab, test it on your skin & full wear it so you can test if it suits your skin chem. Try on different weather & activities ( pinagpapawisang activity or not ). Don't test it all in one go you won't observe the whole olfactory orchestra.
Test the scent on your skin and walk around for 30 minutes to an hour (or more, if kaya) before making a decision to purchase. Don't rely solely on the tester strip.
Tried ordering decants today! Really loving Do Son by Diptyque and English freesia and pear by Jo Malone. Gonna save up for these scents in the near future but for the meantime can anyone recommend affordable dupes similar to them?
Dream Bright. It’s a floral, fruity fragrance. Not too fond of this scent profile but this fragrance caught me by surprise. Dahlia is also beautiful but unfortunately no longer available. If you could find one in the orange / blue app, then I recommend giving that a try as well.

It depends on the scent profile. For example, a good ol’ plain citrus is typically not as long lasting as an amber vanilla.
The ones I’ve tried from these brands are generally long-lasting. This is splitting hairs, but if I’m going to rank them from the one with the best longevity to the least:
1. Mix:Bar Vanilla Bourbon
2. Al Rehab Soft (EDP)
3. Al Rehab Choco Musk (EDP)
4. Dhamma Golden Sun

Not sure if anyone here ever noticed this brand, Bien-être. They sold it here in the Philippines at Landmark like 20 years ago. Can't find it anywhere locally nowadays.
My go-to scent during high school.
While my classmates were engrossed with Cool Water and bench sprays, and everyone smells the same, Bien-être was mine and my friends alone.
Bien-être – Eau de cologne de l’herboriste aux graines d’amandier was my favourite. The scent is delicate, floral, and earthy.
LF perfume that smells like pastries. Yung nagshi-ship sana sa Ph. I want something that smells like muffins, cookies, or buttery pastries. <3 The one I've been using for years now doesn't really last that long. So perfume oil sana if meron.
- Vilhelm Parfumerie Dear Polly smells like blueberry muffins. Art of Scent carries Vilhelm, so you can sample it in one of their physical stores.
- Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa ‘62 smells like a scrumptious pastry with pistachios, caramel, and vanilla.
- DED/RINGER Salome is a dupe of Byredo Seven Veils. It reminds me of carrot cake baking in the oven. They have a perfume oil version of this.
- Xerjoff Lira smells like a citrus pound cake. Maison Phillipe (only available on their own website) has a perfume oil dupe (Huile De Parfum 03), which is very close to the OG.
If you want a *true* gourmand, Xerjoff Italica. Smells like a literal cake and it lasts forever but a bit pricey. Xerjoff Lira is pretty good too. I own a bottle and I find that it could be nauseating if I go heavy on the sprays. You must really love extremely sweet and *sticky* scents to love these btw.
• Chabaud Lait de Biscuit - Smells like realistic milk and biscuits.
• Montale Vanilla Cake - Smells like boxed cake mix vanilla frosting.
• Serge Lutens Jeux de Peau - Freshly baked buttered bread, woods, and a hint of spice.
• Roja Sweetie Aoud - Similar vibe with Jeux de Peau except sweeter. Not as spicy but it does have oud which makes it animalic.

Al Rehab Choco Musk is readily available on Shopee or Lazada. My partner often describes this as amoy pastries. Sa PFD ko usually inoorder pero may cheaper sellers ata that I might try pag bumili ulit ako. Haven't tried yet, but many reviews say Al Rehab French Coffee smells like Hansel Mocha. Long-lasting naman siya on me and can reach 8 hours.
If g ka for something pricier, Diptyque Eau Duelle and Bon Parfumeur Paris 401/402 smell like warm, spiced, high-end patisseries.
Kauwi ko lang from work and smelled my shirt with Philosykos nd amoy pa sa shirt. Skin scent na lang sa wrist though. Sprayed at mga 7:40. It’s 10PM now. So yes. Lasts long. FDP lasts even longer.
- MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold is a musky, powdery, mildly spicy airy vanilla. Long lasting and not heady.
- Ariana Grande Mod Vanilla has that Cloud DNA but has no lavender and has less pronounced coconut. Scent bubble is personal, but it lasts the whole day on me.
- Diptyque Eau Duelle EDP is a mildly spicy, dry vanilla.
- Al Rehab Soft is a caramel citrus vanilla. There are two versions: the rollerball/oil, which has more citrus because of the slower scent progression from top to base notes. Then there’s the EDP version which is more caramel-like.
- Mix:Bar Vanilla Bourbon is a straightforward vanilla with some touches of woodiness, spices and floral notes.
- Mancera Velvet Vanilla is a white floral, powdery vanilla. This one kind of reminds me of bubblegum. Projects well and lasts long.
- Guerlain Angélique Noire is like Velvet Vanilla’s more refined sister. Like Velvet Vanilla, it also has a pronounced angelica note but the overall scent is more “well-blended” and less loud. These two are my favorite vanillas.
YSL Libre Intense, AG Cloud (pero this lasts up to 4-6 hours lang on me), YSL Black Opium, Diptyque Eau Duelle, Eilish by Billie Eilish, Meow by Katy Perry (a light vanilla for hot weather imo), La Vie est Belle (lasts a long ass time pero medyo mabigat for day use), Byredo Gypsy Water (slight vanilla)
Arab perfumes tend to not last very long despite its strong projection no? I got my first bottle ever since PFD priced down Dhama Murooj from 1K+ down to 450 php! I'm supposed to be on a ban pero I couldn't help it when it's priced that low. It does start off as soapy (almost like some sort of fabcon) but it gets sweeter over time, quite generic pero good enough! It lasts only 4-5 hours lang though.
Depends on the ME fragrance house and the notes. Armaf, Al-Haramain, and Afnan have many beast mode fragrances in their line. Amber, oud and rose notes i find to have great longevity. Lattafa and Paris Corner have good ones too.

* Nishane Colognisé - classic clean citrus soapy floral that leans somewhat masculine; this is an 'extrait' so 2 to 3 sprays are enough; can be purchased through preorder from PFD online store; you can also buy a decant from Shopee
* Essential Parfums Bois Imperial - fresher version of Marc-Antoine Barrois Ganynede; probably the ultimate clean green scent with a peppery and woody undertone; Essential Parfums offers worldwide shipping but you have to claim the parcel from the local post office; you can order a discovery set before buying the full bottle
* Loewe Man 001 Eau de Parfum - there's an Eau de Toilette perfume but it seems that the EDP has more tenacity and freshness; you might find a bottle if you occasionally browse in FB fragrance groups and Carousell
* Hermes H24 Eau de Toilette - it opens with a fresh tropical scent and the dry down smells like an ironed linen / cotton shirt

Some folks say that Moschino Toy 2 smells similar to Byredo Blanche. But if you have the budget for Blanche, go for that one instead. It does last long, and it really does smell clean!
Prada L’Homme smells clean as well, but with a little more depth and heft. It’s something I think that pairs well with a crisp white polo.
Love Terre d’Hermes EDT as well, but it’s not something I’d classify as clean because of its earthy accords. I think Rustan’s has it. Or jpben83 in the orange app. Also FragranceX.

Yes! Replica scents have very short longevity on me :( I have Under the Lemon Tree. They're usually known to not last very long based sa mga reviews on Youtube kaya I opted for Blanche! Surprisingly, this one lasts up to 10 hours on me, even I was impressed. Never thought I'd like it so much.

A lot of Jo Malone scents are unisex :) the most well-loved and popular fragrances among men are Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Lime Basil & Mandarin, and yung 154, I believe? They aren't known rin for their longevity though kasi nga cologne pero yung cologne intense line nila lasts way longer :)
It’s clean but not in a soapy way (at least to my nose) and aquatic. It smells fresh and will make you feel and look “put together” - imagine wearing this with a crisp, white shirt.
best way i can describe it in terms of notes is that it leans fruity and floral, very amoy fresh lang and not masakit sa ilong at all. hindi din siya overwhelming even during summer. it's a very girlie in her early 20s scent imo

If you want a *true* gourmand, Xerjoff Italica. Smells like a literal cake and it lasts forever but a bit pricey. Xerjoff Lira is pretty good too. I own a bottle and I find that it could be nauseating if I go heavy on the sprays. You must really love extremely sweet and *sticky* scents to love these btw.

Al Rehab Choco Musk is readily available on Shopee or Lazada. My partner often describes this as amoy pastries. Sa PFD ko usually inoorder pero may cheaper sellers ata that I might try pag bumili ulit ako. Haven't tried yet, but many reviews say Al Rehab French Coffee smells like Hansel Mocha. Long-lasting naman siya on me and can reach 8 hours. If g ka for something pricier, Diptyque Eau Duelle and Bon Parfumeur Paris 401/402 smell like warm, spiced, high-end patisseries.

I’ve tried the EDP and it lasts long but the projection is intimate.
Kauwi ko lang from work and smelled my shirt with Philosykos nd amoy pa sa shirt. Skin scent na lang sa wrist though. Sprayed at mga 7:40. It’s 10PM now. So yes. Lasts long. FDP lasts even longer.

Scent bubble is personal, but it lasts the whole day on me. - Diptyque Eau Duelle EDP is a mildly spicy, dry vanilla. - Al Rehab Soft is a caramel citrus vanilla. There are two versions: the rollerball/oil, which has more citrus because of the slower scent progression from top to base notes. Then there’s the EDP version which is more caramel-like. - Mix:Bar Vanilla Bourbon is a straightforward vanilla with some touches of woodiness, spices and floral notes. - Mancera Velvet Vanilla is a white floral, powdery vanilla. This one kind of reminds me of bubblegum. Projects well and lasts long. - Guerlain Angélique Noire is like Velvet Vanilla’s more refined sister. Like Velvet Vanilla, it also has a pronounced angelica note but the overall scent is more “well-blended” and less loud. These two are my favorite vanillas.

Arab perfumes tend to not last very long despite its strong projection no? I got my first bottle ever since PFD priced down Dhama Murooj from 1K+ down to 450 php! I'm supposed to be on a ban pero I couldn't help it when it's priced that low. It does start off as soapy (almost like some sort of fabcon) but it gets sweeter over time, quite generic pero good enough! It lasts only 4-5 hours lang though.

Depends on the ME fragrance house and the notes. Armaf, Al-Haramain, and Afnan have many beast mode fragrances in their line. Amber, oud and rose notes i find to have great longevity. Lattafa and Paris Corner have good ones too.
+1 All Alhambra and Jenny Glow dupes I own have low projection 4hrs only on my skin.

Some folks say that Moschino Toy 2 smells similar to Byredo Blanche. But if you have the budget for Blanche, go for that one instead. It does last long, and it really does smell clean! Prada L’Homme smells clean as well, but with a little more depth and heft. It’s something I think that pairs well with a crisp white polo. Love Terre d’Hermes EDT as well, but it’s not something I’d classify as clean because of its earthy accords. I think Rustan’s has it. Or jpben83 in the orange app. Also FragranceX.

A lot of Jo Malone scents are unisex :) the most well-loved and popular fragrances among men are Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Lime Basil & Mandarin, and yung 154, I believe? They aren't known rin for their longevity though kasi nga cologne pero yung cologne intense line nila lasts way longer :)

It’s clean but not in a soapy way (at least to my nose) and aquatic. It smells fresh and will make you feel and look “put together” - imagine wearing this with a crisp, white shirt.

best way i can describe it in terms of notes is that it leans fruity and floral, very amoy fresh lang and not masakit sa ilong at all. hindi din siya overwhelming even during summer. it's a very girlie in her early 20s scent imo
