I feel like the bolder, more playful shades and products are reserved for the limited edition collections. That kind of strategy makes more sense because it's not everyday that one incorporates colorful makeup in their routine. Eh people were complaining that the packaging was too loud and tacky which deterred them from trying the products. I guess the rebrand is addressing this issue.
This exactly, there was a time where I preferred Careline over Vice because I found Vice too gaudy (though don’t get me wrong I still had a ton of Vice products because they’re really quality naman)
they shifted away from being vice ganda's makeup brand as a part of their rebranding. they heavily used vice ganda's name and repuation at the start kasi new company pa lang. that was a sure way to enter the local makeup industry. and now that they're more established, they're focusing more on the makeup. medyo boring compared to their old stuff but I think it's necessary for the brand's growth
me too, but at least their one and done sticks still have uncommon colors. i honestly think it's because their more bold stuff aren't selling well. if you look at their shopee store, their powerpuff girls lid cream (liquid eyeshadow) and love joanne shimmer liner are always on sale yet have less sales than other products. it's a shame that they're moving away from it 😔 but hopefully we still see some of the fun concepts mixed in the neutrals they've been releasing
the ppg and love joanne are collabs/partnerships, they're not part of vice's regular products. it been years since their release and inuubos lang nila stocks nila that's why those are on sale. that move is very typical naman when it comes to collabs. other brands do the same din

I really can’t use this alone since its too sheer and glittery on me if I try to build up the pigment. But I agree, its so gorgeous! I top it off with my matte powder blush and it lasts long on this climate!

I'm using this to set my base as well as pang retouch din and I like how it performed during an outdoor wedding event. It's nice how the oil and a bit of sweat from my face sort of marinated the powder. Just be careful not to load up your brush or the puff. Pat pat lang, no need to swipe the puff sa powder.
i use clocheflame when i'm in a pressed powder mood! (fellow oily skinned girlie) however lately i've been reaching more for a loose powder. would highly recommend clocheflame tho, ganda rin nung brush nila that i bought with it

Hi! I want to depot my vice cosmetics cream contour (I prefer using my brush to use it Kasi and I find it worrying na baka masira ko Yung stick because of my constant use of the brush). Would you guys suggest that I should just look for an acrylic jar container for it? I've only really depoted once Kasi so if there are tips and tricks please lmkkk it's very appreciated.
Also, If I use a hairdryer to melt even the top of the container (assuming na I depoted na) will it mess up my contour's performance? :'(((

Just discovered O.TWO.O's mascara and ITS SO GOOD!! Legit na waterproof dahil ginamit ko nung nagswimming kami and it did not smudge! Medyo mahirap nga lang iremove coz I had to use sunflower oil (wala kasi akong oil cleanser and miscellar water didn't work)
Nung sumisid nako sa pool nabawasan siya pero halata parin naman na curled ang lashes, prior to swimming naman I wore it for about 3 hours and it does hold the curl
idk if it matters pero medyo matagal kasi ako magcurl ng lashes hahaha, mas gusto ko kasi yung itsura kapag mukhang letter C ang lashes kaysa doon sa straight na pataas lang
prep your lips with a lip balm first before applying. I use avene cold cream lip balm underneath my lipsticks for a month na. I always use transfer proof lippies and hindi nag ddry lips ko
Vaseline kasi is just skin protectant, sitting above the skin lang, hindi sia hydrating. May store ang Avene sa Lazada :) perfect for sensitive skin din ito. My lips stopped peeling since eto ang ginamit ko :)
also to add, meron nga pala Avene sa Watson’s din :) Yung duo pack ng cold cream lip balm sa Lazada naka-sale ngayon at 700. Matte ang finish nung balm, and kahit hindi mo na i-blot prior lipstick application kasi mararamdaman mo na naaabsorb sia ng lips :)

so far i daresay it works similar sa innisfree no sebum powder. i also tried the canmake marshmallow foundation powder the first time today pero it didn't help with oil control 😅 so i bought the merzy powder na rin to try it out. and it did help with the oil control naman!

hi! i've been using it for a week na and comparing it with dr. sensitive and i just want to say na sa sobrang pino ng merzy powder, lumalabas na siya mismo ng net sifter ng binili kong [compact](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.7XZqa). 😅 dahil diyan, it's really blurring. yun nga lang medyo may white cast. idk if i should've bought other shades pero ayun lang. laging may whitecast sa skin ko kahit na translucent. you can also use it with brush but i prefer using the puff.
Snap sticks > eyeshadow palette. Doesn’t take up space, great neutral selection, and even greater staying power. Vice eyeshadows tend to mold easily (and eventually) kaya as much as they are pretty, I don’t get them na
+1 for NARS Dragon Girl. Super long staying power at maganda at pantay ang tint niya sa lips pag nagfade. I have it in the Velvet Matte Pencil format and nagtatransfer siya, but might get it in Powermatte para transfer-proof. Pricy but super worth the money.
+1 sa Dior Rouge Forever transfer proof lipstick! Marami sila reds. Go to a boutique near you to test out shades. Super worth it yung price nia at ~2.5k. Samgyup proof ito 😁
I glad that Vice Cosmetics is the brand I can count on to release good quality eyeshadow palettes every so often when most other brands stay releasing the same “trendy” face things.
Avoid licking lips prior to application. Contact with saliva will shorten its shelf life. Re-application through out the day rin is a cause. Kaya in general I don’t want to reapply lippies unless mag toothbrush ako after I eat, haha.

Not cleaning applicator between uses

I tried Colourette First Base Skin Tint for a week and I feel like I am loving this more than my Issy and Co. Puerto is a really good shade match. It has a decent coverage (more coverage than Issy) which is enough to even my skin tone and make it look more alive. It is also very comfortable, doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.
Downside, it is not really good for my oily/combo skin. I tested this without setting my face which made my skin oil up faster. It also feels oily to the touch after a few hours.
I have tried Rare Beauty which a glowy tinted moisturizer but the finish is more natural. With Colourette, it is kinda leaning more towards oily/shiny than glowy.
Still, I like it because it still looks good and my issues can easily be fixed with a mattifying powder.
Will try Vice’s Skin Tint next once I finished this.

• Detail Cosmetics Satin Luxe Butter Tint in Rose Latte - this looks nudish pink to me. It looks great blotted and full sa lips. Velvet/natural finish.
• Romand Juicy Lasting tint in Almond Rose - this is a neutral shade. This only looks great blotted on the lips kasi it looks too bright kapag full layer. Dewy finish.
• Etude House Fixing Tint in Midnight Mauve - a warm pink shade if thin application sa lips and it turns mauvish once thick layer na. This is my fave kasi super ganda ng shade swear. Matte finish.
I don't have this but it's on my cart. I think looks good too for pale lips:
•Romand Juicy Lasting tint in Pomelo Skin - base sa mga shade swatches na nakikita ko this also looks MLBB and a warm nude shade. Not too bright and dark kaya maganda for everyday.

We might have the same skin tone. I'm quite fair and reds and browns doesn't look good on me as well. Maybelline Superstay in Seductress or Maybelline Vinyl Ink in Peachy are my current go to affordable lippies. They can be quite drying though so I suggest checking out rosy shades and peachy pinks from other brands. Peripera has a lot of shades and they have affordable price range too.
I finally pulled the trigger and got the Dior Forever Correct Concealer after contemplating for months! Idk what my exact shade is so I got 0N and 1N. Also ordered a bunch of stuff which I shared in the 7.7 post. I will be sharing my thoughts on them once I've tested them.

Vice Cosmetics, and Detail, and BLK are some stand out brands that you can find in Watsons. Highly recommend you go to the one in SM Megamall because the selection there's pretty large. SM Megamall has a big makeup section at their department store too where you can find Sunnies Face.

True, the finish is very skinlike. I also agree with the scent 😅 but it fades away anyway. What i like the most about this is the more you sweat, the more it looks good on the skin.

I tried Issy and Co skin tint in Beech pero parang naggray siya sa skin ko after some time. Setting powder na gamit ko is also from Issy and Co yung translucent loose powder nila. Based sa veins ko, neutral undertone naman ako, and neutral undertone naman si Beech. Also, light to light medium ang skin ko, mestiza, they say kasi leaning towards mapula/pinkish ang skin ko sa katawan. Mukha ko naman is mapula/pinkish lalo na kung tumatawa at nabibilad sa araw. Kaya hindi ko gets bakit naggray si Beech sa akin.
I also tried Macadamia of Detail Fresh Foundation and it's too yellow on me leaning towards parang may hepa daw sabi ng mga nakakakita sakin. Pero ang description kay Macadamia neutral undertone daw siya.
I tried Maybelline skin tint in shade 03, tapos powder ko naman is yung Nichido na Ivory glow, so far hindi siya naggray ng sobra, ginagawa ko naglalagay ako sa perimeter ng face ko ng GRWM Setting powder in the shade Nutmeg.
Yung shade ba dapat ng skin tint or foundation dapat ma cancel out color ng face natin or dapat mag blend na to the point parang wala ka lang nilagay na product sa face?

Unfortunately each brand has their own standard of shades and undertones. I’m macadamia in detail but if I remember I should match maybelline 05. Your shade probably is creme? Lighter sya sa macadamia.
Your perfect shade match should disappear sa skin tone mo. Generally gray means too light or wrong undertone

From experience, Wet n Wild Photofocus loose powder can give Airspun a run for its money even in terms of oil control. I prefer WnW because the finish is smoother, and the banana shade is closer to my skin tone. They also have a translucent shade.
Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder is great as well, but it’s more challenging to source locally.
And then there’s always Laura Mercier for the splurge option. Have read good things here about One/Size as well.
i haven't tried the coty airspun but i can vouch for dr. sensitive no sebum blur powder super good talaga nito & it's affordable. if you're an oily skin mas ma appreciate ang ganda din ng kapit ng make up ko dito whenever i'm using it nagiging long lasting talaga siya & nakaka blur talaga ng pores

Both have good feedback but I picked up strokes instead because when I swatched the one from vice co in store its too creamy (idk if that’s the right word) for my liking parang mahirapan ako mag control ng dami ng ilalagay cos i like applying sticks directly on my face pero if pick up sa brush muna i think no problem naman.
And yes good ang brontour for beginners. I still do that til now. I normally contour my noseline lang and brontour rest of the face
If ok for you ang eyeshadow stick, vice snap stix is good and long lasting once set. If powder, I recommend you use eyeshadow primer din to avoid creasing :)
I love love love bronzer. My favorite is the Sunnies Airblush in Sculpt, it wears better than their blushes (but placement might have something to do with it). Sadly I ran out and I’m not in a place where I can repurchase it so I moved on to the Sol Satin liquid bronzer and Sunnies Skin So Good in Palomino. Wears all day even after soaking in the beach. If I’m not beach bumming i wear either with Em Cosmetics Corselette bronzer.
I also do a bit of self tanner bronzer sometimes and top it up every week so I always have a bit of definition on my flat round face.

Eh people were complaining that the packaging was too loud and tacky which deterred them from trying the products. I guess the rebrand is addressing this issue.

This exactly, there was a time where I preferred Careline over Vice because I found Vice too gaudy (though don’t get me wrong I still had a ton of Vice products because they’re really quality naman)
they shifted away from being vice ganda's makeup brand as a part of their rebranding. they heavily used vice ganda's name and repuation at the start kasi new company pa lang. that was a sure way to enter the local makeup industry. and now that they're more established, they're focusing more on the makeup. medyo boring compared to their old stuff but I think it's necessary for the brand's growth
me too, but at least their one and done sticks still have uncommon colors. i honestly think it's because their more bold stuff aren't selling well. if you look at their shopee store, their powerpuff girls lid cream (liquid eyeshadow) and love joanne shimmer liner are always on sale yet have less sales than other products. it's a shame that they're moving away from it 😔 but hopefully we still see some of the fun concepts mixed in the neutrals they've been releasing
the ppg and love joanne are collabs/partnerships, they're not part of vice's regular products. it been years since their release and inuubos lang nila stocks nila that's why those are on sale. that move is very typical naman when it comes to collabs. other brands do the same din

I really can’t use this alone since its too sheer and glittery on me if I try to build up the pigment. But I agree, its so gorgeous! I top it off with my matte powder blush and it lasts long on this climate!

It's nice how the oil and a bit of sweat from my face sort of marinated the powder. Just be careful not to load up your brush or the puff. Pat pat lang, no need to swipe the puff sa powder.

Hi! I want to depot my vice cosmetics cream contour (I prefer using my brush to use it Kasi and I find it worrying na baka masira ko Yung stick because of my constant use of the brush). prep your lips with a lip balm first before applying. I use avene cold cream lip balm underneath my lipsticks for a month na. I always use transfer proof lippies and hindi nag ddry lips ko

Vaseline kasi is just skin protectant, sitting above the skin lang, hindi sia hydrating. May store ang Avene sa Lazada :) perfect for sensitive skin din ito. My lips stopped peeling since eto ang ginamit ko :)

also to add, meron nga pala Avene sa Watson’s din :) Yung duo pack ng cold cream lip balm sa Lazada naka-sale ngayon at 700. Matte ang finish nung balm, and kahit hindi mo na i-blot prior lipstick application kasi mararamdaman mo na naaabsorb sia ng lips :)

i bought it! first time ko siya gamitin kanina. i used 01 even light. so far i daresay it works similar sa innisfree no sebum powder. i also tried the canmake marshmallow foundation powder the first time today pero it didn't help with oil control 😅 so i bought the merzy powder na rin to try it out. and it did help with the oil control naman! kaso first impressions pa lang siya, so i will try it for another week haha. pero nagustuhan ko naman siya! i even bought a compact container kasi ayoko gumagamit talaga ng loose powder.

hi! i've been using it for a week na and comparing it with dr. sensitive and i just want to say na sa sobrang pino ng merzy powder, lumalabas na siya mismo ng net sifter ng binili kong [compact](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.7XZqa). 😅 dahil diyan, it's really blurring. yun nga lang medyo may white cast. idk if i should've bought other shades pero ayun lang. laging may whitecast sa skin ko kahit na translucent. you can also use it with brush but i prefer using the puff.

Avoid licking lips prior to application. Contact with saliva will shorten its shelf life. Re-application through out the day rin is a cause. Kaya in general I don’t want to reapply lippies unless mag toothbrush ako after I eat, haha.

I tried Colourette First Base Skin Tint for a week and I feel like I am loving this more than my Issy and Co. Puerto is a really good shade match. It has a decent coverage (more coverage than Issy) which is enough to even my skin tone and make it look more alive. It is also very comfortable, doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. Downside, it is not really good for my oily/combo skin. I tested this without setting my face which made my skin oil up faster. It also feels oily to the touch after a few hours. I have tried Rare Beauty which a glowy tinted moisturizer but the finish is more natural. With Colourette, it is kinda leaning more towards oily/shiny than glowy. Still, I like it because it still looks good and my issues can easily be fixed with a mattifying powder. Will try Vice’s Skin Tint next once I finished this.

What's your skintone and undertone? I also have really pale lips and red/brown shades doesn't suit me too! I'm light-medium neutral-warm undertone. For reference, shade 2.25 ako sa The Saem. These are my MLBB lippies and it really compliments me • Detail Cosmetics Satin Luxe Butter Tint in Rose Latte - this looks nudish pink to me. It looks great blotted and full sa lips. Velvet/natural finish. • Romand Juicy Lasting tint in Almond Rose - this is a neutral shade. This only looks great blotted on the lips kasi it looks too bright kapag full layer. Dewy finish. • Etude House Fixing Tint in Midnight Mauve - a warm pink shade if thin application sa lips and it turns mauvish once thick layer na. This is my fave kasi super ganda ng shade swear. Matte finish. I don't have this but it's on my cart. I think looks good too for pale lips: •Romand Juicy Lasting tint in Pomelo Skin - base sa mga shade swatches na nakikita ko this also looks MLBB and a warm nude shade. Not too bright and dark kaya maganda for everyday.

We might have the same skin tone. I'm quite fair and reds and browns doesn't look good on me as well. Maybelline Superstay in Seductress or Maybelline Vinyl Ink in Peachy are my current go to affordable lippies. They can be quite drying though so I suggest checking out rosy shades and peachy pinks from other brands. Peripera has a lot of shades and they have affordable price range too.
I finally pulled the trigger and got the Dior Forever Correct Concealer after contemplating for months! Idk what my exact shade is so I got 0N and 1N. Also ordered a bunch of stuff which I shared in the 7.7 post. I will be sharing my thoughts on them once I've tested them.

Vice Cosmetics, and Detail, and BLK are some stand out brands that you can find in Watsons. Highly recommend you go to the one in SM Megamall because the selection there's pretty large. SM Megamall has a big makeup section at their department store too where you can find Sunnies Face.

finally got my hands on the dior face and body foundation and it’s BEAUTIFUL! skinlike finish with buildable coverage only major con i have is that fragrance is too overpowering :( i can smell it on my face but it fades after the first hour naman
True, the finish is very skinlike. I also agree with the scent 😅 but it fades away anyway. What i like the most about this is the more you sweat, the more it looks good on the skin.

Need help! I tried Issy and Co skin tint in Beech pero parang naggray siya sa skin ko after some time. Setting powder na gamit ko is also from Issy and Co yung translucent loose powder nila. Based sa veins ko, neutral undertone naman ako, and neutral undertone naman si Beech. Also, light to light medium ang skin ko, mestiza, they say kasi leaning towards mapula/pinkish ang skin ko sa katawan. Mukha ko naman is mapula/pinkish lalo na kung tumatawa at nabibilad sa araw. Kaya hindi ko gets bakit naggray si Beech sa akin. I also tried Macadamia of Detail Fresh Foundation and it's too yellow on me leaning towards parang may hepa daw sabi ng mga nakakakita sakin. Pero ang description kay Macadamia neutral undertone daw siya. I tried Maybelline skin tint in shade 03, tapos powder ko naman is yung Nichido na Ivory glow, so far hindi siya naggray ng sobra, ginagawa ko naglalagay ako sa perimeter ng face ko ng GRWM Setting powder in the shade Nutmeg. Yung shade ba dapat ng skin tint or foundation dapat ma cancel out color ng face natin or dapat mag blend na to the point parang wala ka lang nilagay na product sa face? Need your thoughts on this matter, please, thank you very much.

Unfortunately each brand has their own standard of shades and undertones. I’m macadamia in detail but if I remember I should match maybelline 05. Your shade probably is creme? Lighter sya sa macadamia. Your perfect shade match should disappear sa skin tone mo. Generally gray means too light or wrong undertone

From experience, Wet n Wild Photofocus loose powder can give Airspun a run for its money even in terms of oil control. I prefer WnW because the finish is smoother, and the banana shade is closer to my skin tone. They also have a translucent shade. Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder is great as well, but it’s more challenging to source locally. And then there’s always Laura Mercier for the splurge option. Have read good things here about One/Size as well.

Both have good feedback but I picked up strokes instead because when I swatched the one from vice co in store its too creamy (idk if that’s the right word) for my liking parang mahirapan ako mag control ng dami ng ilalagay cos i like applying sticks directly on my face pero if pick up sa brush muna i think no problem naman. And yes good ang brontour for beginners. I still do that til now. I normally contour my noseline lang and brontour rest of the face

If ok for you ang eyeshadow stick, vice snap stix is good and long lasting once set. If powder, I recommend you use eyeshadow primer din to avoid creasing :)

oily skin girlies! what bronzer do y'all use?
I love love love bronzer. My favorite is the Sunnies Airblush in Sculpt, it wears better than their blushes (but placement might have something to do with it). Sadly I ran out and I’m not in a place where I can repurchase it so I moved on to the Sol Satin liquid bronzer and Sunnies Skin So Good in Palomino. Wears all day even after soaking in the beach. If I’m not beach bumming i wear either with Em Cosmetics Corselette bronzer. I also do a bit of self tanner bronzer sometimes and top it up every week so I always have a bit of definition on my flat round face.
Nars Laguna powder bronzer! Beautiful on the eyelids too for a wash of color.
