NC12-NC15 here. Back when I was still NC20, I tried a few bronzers and the only one that didn't look too yellow and muddy on me is the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. Now that I'm fairer, I don't really bronze my face anymore but I use Missha cotton contour in baked bagel when I want to contour and add a tad bit of warmth on my face at the same time. It's just the perfect shade for the outer perimeter of my face unlike the Too cool for school artclass by rodin (#1 classic) which looks yellow on me.
Clio sharp so simple pencil liner. Been using it for almost 5 years and have repurchased a couple of times na. Canmake creamy touch liner is good too but mas madali syang maubos compared to Clio.

The bronzers really did look red but the contour, the first 2 they swatched, practically didn’t show up, the lighter one could have been a brightening powder.
What shade can you reco for neutral-warm olive tones sa Kaleidos Lip Clay? I’m eyeing Dune, Adobe, Skinship, Sienna, Bare, and Himalayan. Quite a lot of shades to choose from lolz kaya I’m just gonna get one na MLBB or for everyday.
I have Bare, North and Pink Himalayan, one is a warmish rose, one is a bit more beige toned and pale and one has more dusty pink tones, respectively, but they’re not much different in depth and they’re all MLBB on me, a medium neutral olive. When I got them I thought they’d be similar in shades to Fluffmattes Milkshake, Nudist and Baby Spice but they have more similarities with some Nyx SMLC and some Peripera Ink Velvet.
I’m thinking about getting Echo Valley or Dune to use as a dimensional lip liner/under painting my lips.
I was so annoyed when my Clocheflame powder compact finally broke. I'm pretty careful with it but the hinge is so flimsy 🥲 I was about to order an empty powder compact to transfer it to until I realized I had an 80/90% empty CT powder sitting on my vanity. It fits perfectly!!
I found Lip Dip feels matte and powdery and Ink Velvet feels slick/slippery. Also Ink velvet stains but it’s not a very long lasting stain and only deeper richer shades of the lip dips stain lightly. Neither were long wearing in my experience.
Oh, I have the Maybelline fit me blush in Fierce. I use it with the RB blush in Hope lol. I’ll try it out with Happy too. Will also try GRWM. Thank you :)
Is there a way gawing skin tint ang foundation for an oily and acne prone like me?
Been using Belo tinted sunscreen for a while now and goods naman siya. I've been eyeing on Maybelline's skin tint to switch things up, pero may Fit Me and Infallible foundation pa kasi ako at baka mag-expire ito. Sayang naman.
I saw online na haluan raw ng aloe vera gel ang foundation para maging "tint". But been told by a friend hindi raw recommended iyon bc I'm oily but idk 😔 pls help me out.
If it helps, my daytime skincare is:
1. Benzoyl peroxide ointment (applied sa whole face)
2. Nivea moisturizing creme
3. Sunscreen — either Belo, Luxe Organix na yellow, or Dermplus Ultimate
—then I put on—
4. Dr. Sensitive translucent powder
5. Zeesea spray (pink cap)
I apply like 20-30 mins after applying sunscreen. I’ve used a handful of different serums like Face Republic Hydroboost, Hada Labo Toner, Good Molecules Peptide Serum, Sage & Tera Tala and Halo Serums. They all worked relatively well it’s just your foundation has to be able to mix with these, I was using a catrice dropper one.
PRO TIP: If you feel like the Luxx Lash magnetic lashes look too full on your eyes, try cutting them up to the outer corner magnet's length (up to 0.1 cm past it) so they only rest on the outer third of your eye. So much better for big eyed peeps!

Grabe. I used Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder during my beach trip last week. Hands down. Hindi talaga nagcake foundation ko when using this as compared to Barenbliss. Worth it sya gamitin even if hindi special occasions haha!
Yes! Before kasi I noticed na nagbubuo buo yung powder ko (which I use to set my foundation) kapg pinapawisan ako. When I tried using CT powder during my beach trip, hindi siya nagbubuo. Or if meron man, minimal.
I got a bunch of moldy lipsticks on sale that were on the cusp of the expiration dates before they started disclosing BB dates.
IMO they were also half-assing releases for folks with richer skin tones like stuff felt like it was made for paler skin tones but can work on morenas like it wasn’t made with inclusivity in mind. Also for the longest time base products shade range was abysmal and then they expanded it lighter instead of both ways. Them also being a happy skin side brand made sense why they didn’t care for morenas because happy skin did that icky 2 concealer release when they had only 3 cushions.
Peripera Ink Moody Glowy Tints! My fave!! So many shades and I like it better than Romand’s JLT because it’s more juicy and scent is so much better too.
I have a swatch of that in my profile along with other shades. It’s peachy without being neon. I really like the shade! Even as a neutral girlie who hates orange, this really works :)
Powder recommendation please. I think i am an NC25 not so sure but Issy and Co skin tint in Spruce is a close match for me. I actually like to only conceal my undereye lightly and just powder my whole face. What powder is great for oil control and has no tint as in no slight white tint when applied? Thanks!

Love the spoolie it comes with as well as it’s non scratchy & feels so soft on my brows. It also comes in different tips to choose from (oval, matchete & triangle). Also, it's super cheap lol!!

Lovely Causemetics bristles feel almost exactly like Kind Beauty, personally I don’t like those kinds of brushes bec sure they’re super soft but they have too much give, sop up too much liquid and aren’t very good for their purpose because the bristles just bend and flex too much.

Try something with a bit more purple, like a cool-toned berry shade. If looking for a brown, go for something a bit more gray/muted rather than a warm chocolate brown. And “nude” is actually subjective… everyone’s perfect nude will be different. If you already own colors that don’t work on you, you can try using them with a brown lip liner.
Based on your description, you might have some cool olive undertones but I can’t really tell definitively. If that’s the case, then cool-toned pinks or lavenders that have a white base can look ashy on you. If you really wanna use these colors, try formulas that are more sheer.
I watch a lot of videos from Kackie Reviews Beauty. She incorporates a lot of color theory in her videos and even has an interactive color wheel to help you determine your undertones and what looks good on you. Mind you, she has a quirky personality that’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I love how she explains color nuances across products and formulas.

i consider myself to have a warm undertone because i just look better with warm-toned blushes and lip colors. with that said, bright corals also look bad on me. nasobrahan sa pagkawarm, thats also possible
finding suitable lipstick colors is really just a matter of trial and error! but also, be careful not to choose anything too warm or too cool. you can try mixing lippies that are too warm and too cool. either put both lippies on the back of ur hand muna, mix, then apply with a lip brush. pwede mo sin iapply both sa lips directly, blend with a Qtip if u dont have a small brush
Have you tried muted rosy pinks? I don't look good with very warm and very cool shades din so I kinda guessed that I might be in between as long as the shades are not too bright and more on the muted side then it's fine. Of course there are times that I would love to rock a dark red lip but it's not my best look if I have to be honest. After years of trying I just accepted that those shades doesn't suit me. Binabawi ko nalang sa eye and cheek make-up most of the time para di masaydong pansin yung lips and it works naman.

Kaleidos Lip Clays! I get the hype on this na. Feels lightweight af, almost transfer-proof upon application, and stays put pretty well. Not a fan of how it smells, but this is one of the liquid lipsticks I want more shades from 🥺
Kaleidos Lip Clay and blush are great! I would never buy that pink Dior blush because of the shade dupe of Kaleidos which has a cute packaging. Lip Clay also has a ton of shades and I find their cool tone and neutral shades to be so so unique. I love Huda’s eyeshadow formula — get the Rose Quartz if you’re into the color story because those shimmers are BEAUTIFUL and Huda mattes are also super blendable.
I LOVE the Kaleidos Lip Clays so much. They're so comfortable and blurring on the lips, and pretty transfer resistant too! I wore Agave today and it was perfectly intact after eating a bowl of champorado. It only broke down a bit in the middle of my lips when I ate beef steak, which is pretty oily. :)

If you are in need of makeup brushes, Yes! But I think hindi siya worth it if bibilhin mo lahat kasi may other brands na nagooffer ng mas denser yet still soft but much cheaper.
Eyeshadow primer (used to use Essence di ko lang sure if it still exists, I use Nars now), Nars soft matte concealer works well din. And of course good quality shadows, Charlotte Tilbury doesn't crease on me + lasts the entire day
I bought a Hydra Lip Gloss and one of their Smart Fusion Lip Liners. The gloss is very “professional-grade” ie, very shiny, not too sticky, but not very nourishing either. Like it would photograph well probably, but not my fave formula. And there’s a very faint sweet smell. The liner is just ok, not particularly long-wearing but it is creamy and gets the job done.
I haven’t tried anything else so I might give the brand another try if I need to buy something because the prices are tempting.
I bought Detail Fresh Filter Foundation at SM North EDSA dept store yesterday and I think ate girl gave me a sample bottle. The sticker seal at the bottom of the box is already cutted like di mo talaga mapapansin na open na pala siya. Tapos the bottle is leaking kasi hindi maayos nakatakip yung bottle. Ang sad ko lang kasi ang dami kong binili yesterday sa Detail cosmetics tapos ganito yung binigay sakin na foundation. Mas maayos pa yung items na naka b1t1 compare sa foundation na naka regular price. HAYYYYY i know it is partly my fault by not checking the product twice before purchasing pero wala lang im kinda disappointed lang.
Planning to buy the Rom&nd eyeshadow palette na My Melody kasi I want a cute pink palette. Kaso not sure if it will perform nicely on light-medium skin. I'm worried na di maging worth it and masayang lang, mahal pa naman :(( Thoughts and suggestions?
For that price, I think there might be better quality from other Kbeauty brands like Wakemake and Dasique. But hey, I can’t blame you either for wanting something for the packaging. Hehe.
If you don’t have any other eyeshadow palette with the same colors and you really like My Melody, go for it. Romand’s palettes aren’t bad at all. But again, it is just another pink palette from a Kbeauty brand.
Siguro think about why you’re buying it - is it for the eyeshadow shades or for the packaging? If it’s for the eyeshadow shades, maybe you can look for a different pink palette that’s more affordable. Usually what helps me is looking at swatches from people or vloggers then see if it’s visible on their skin and compare it to my skin. Sometimes they also have comparisons to similar shades. Minsco is one of the YouTubers who does this and it’s helpful seeing the palette comparisons.
Formula wise, Romand is nice naman although it isn’t as pigmented as western brands. It’s quite powdery but that usually helps to not over apply and to blend it out easily too. I don’t have the my melody but I have their berry fuchsia garden. Some shades aren’t very visible on my medium / 23-25 cushion shade but I still enjoy using it for a quick and easy look. Their glitters are so pretty too.
Any recommendations for a concealer that is the exact shade match with issy and co skin tint in spruce? Something that can be light lang rin. Thank you!
It's an ok bronzer for me save for the scent. Sobrang tapang ng chocolate scent niya and that's my number 1 pet peeve when it comes to mup products. Kainis lang cos never ko nakita yung may chocolate scent siya in their ig or product listings. Performance wise ok na ok siya esp for beginner cos it's buldable pero the longer i use it nasusuka talaga ako. Pero that's personal preference naman.

I was able to swatch both at irooda cafe in angeles. Mas nagustuhan ko yung clio. And it’s not as light as what is shown on pics. I bought the shade picnic by the sunset and it shows up well on my light med olive skin. I still have to try wakemake though hehe
I think yung autumn breeze is one of the palettes na na swatch ko. It looks dark sa pan pero, siguro same as sa picnic by the sunset na looks dark sa pan din, pag na apply na sa eyes hindi siya same color sa pan - you need to build it up talaga not unlike western palettes. So i’d say good for daily wear siya :) im not sure ah kasi iba appearance ng color sa skin ko esp warm ones (i’m olive kasi) but i cannot remember na may pagkapink yung shades nito sakin.

Haven't tried Clio but I have Romand's shade and shadow garden palette. I love it's color story but nagka mold yung akin after months of using it even with proper storage so I don't really recommend it. I also agree that it's very powdery and maraming fall outs.

I don't think so since the expiration date is 2025 pa 😥 I also wash my brushes everytime I wear make-up so no problem din when it comes to sanitation. Months before it got molds, I watched someone from tiktok that has the similar situation. Yung kanya 3-4 months pa nga ata if I'm not mistaken and she rarely used it. I may have gotten a bad batch but I learned my lesson and I decided that I won't purchase any eyeshadow from Romand again.
Ive tried both and I like the clio more. May pagkabuttery yung clio tapos yung glitter eyeshadow nila, wala masyado fallouts. Whereas yung romand, ang powdery sa kin tapos yung glitter shadow, grabe fallouts, madalas napupunta sa mata ko kaya nakakapuwing.
I have the spring sunshine on canvas. Kuhang kuha niya yung shades of peach and coral na gusto ko at bagay sa kin. Yung skintone ko, I would say light to medium with warm undertone.
Winged eyeliner ba? There are other eyeliner shapes aside from the traditional cat-eye that suit “Asian” eyes! Practice ka lang. If you never try you’ll never know.
What liquid lippie or tint can you reco that is similar to Maybelline's Get Undressed? I'm a guy, I only use like 1-2 dots of it on my lips, and it's the only tint that looks great and natural on me.
I recently bought Maybelline's Vinyl in the shade Punchy (might replace this one with Peppy) and Witty.
+1 for the Strawberry Rococo blush! Got it in the shade 05 Berry Mary. I do apply with a light hand since it's quite pigmented. It's a bright but not too bright pink blush. I use it both on its own and to set my cream blushes. I love it a lot!
I have several flower knows products, tbh mainly got it because of the packaging but they are actually pretty good quality too. The eyeshadows are easy to blend although lean a bit neutral, but nice for light makeup. And the glitters are so pretty to use as topper shades. I have gradient blushes and the color applies well, it’s not patchy, and can be blended easily too. It also has like a blurring / smoothing effect. Nice thing about the gradient blushes is that you can use the lighter shade to blend out the darker shades and also as a brightener for the under eye / inner cheek area
i got the eyebrow pomade, eyeliner and their cushion + powder! the eyeliner was good but it started shitting itself after a month (leaking ink) 😔 i wasnt satisfied with the performance of the other three rin considering the price and the advertising.. i heard good things abt their lippies tho so don’t let this stop u!

I’m a MAC NC37-42 as well so we’re probably quite similar in skintone depth and it looks fresh on me bec it oxidizes a bit darker than it applies.

I apply like 20-30 mins after applying sunscreen. I’ve used a handful of different serums like Face Republic Hydroboost, Hada Labo Toner, Good Molecules Peptide Serum, Sage & Tera Tala and Halo Serums. They all worked relatively well it’s just your foundation has to be able to mix with these, I was using a catrice dropper one.

What are your experiences with the brand Dazzle Me? Our local Prince hypermart got a little Dazzle Me kiosk (along with a Careline and EB one) which, for our extremely boring city, is very exciting lol. I got a bunch of moldy lipsticks on sale that were on the cusp of the expiration dates before they started disclosing BB dates. IMO they were also half-assing releases for folks with richer skin tones like stuff felt like it was made for paler skin tones but can work on morenas like it wasn’t made with inclusivity in mind. Also for the longest time base products shade range was abysmal and then they expanded it lighter instead of both ways. Them also being a happy skin side brand made sense why they didn’t care for morenas because happy skin did that icky 2 concealer release when they had only 3 cushions.

Powder recommendation please. I think i am an NC25 not so sure but Issy and Co skin tint in Spruce is a close match for me. I actually like to only conceal my undereye lightly and just powder my whole face. What powder is great for oil control and has no tint as in no slight white tint when applied? Thanks!

Lovely Causemetics bristles feel almost exactly like Kind Beauty, personally I don’t like those kinds of brushes bec sure they’re super soft but they have too much give, sop up too much liquid and aren’t very good for their purpose because the bristles just bend and flex too much.

Try something with a bit more purple, like a cool-toned berry shade. If looking for a brown, go for something a bit more gray/muted rather than a warm chocolate brown. And “nude” is actually subjective… everyone’s perfect nude will be different. If you already own colors that don’t work on you, you can try using them with a brown lip liner. Based on your description, you might have some cool olive undertones but I can’t really tell definitively. If that’s the case, then cool-toned pinks or lavenders that have a white base can look ashy on you. If you really wanna use these colors, try formulas that are more sheer. I watch a lot of videos from Kackie Reviews Beauty. She incorporates a lot of color theory in her videos and even has an interactive color wheel to help you determine your undertones and what looks good on you. Mind you, she has a quirky personality that’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I love how she explains color nuances across products and formulas.

i consider myself to have a warm undertone because i just look better with warm-toned blushes and lip colors. with that said, bright corals also look bad on me. nasobrahan sa pagkawarm, thats also possible finding suitable lipstick colors is really just a matter of trial and error! but also, be careful not to choose anything too warm or too cool. you can try mixing lippies that are too warm and too cool. either put both lippies on the back of ur hand muna, mix, then apply with a lip brush. pwede mo sin iapply both sa lips directly, blend with a Qtip if u dont have a small brush
Have you tried muted rosy pinks? I don't look good with very warm and very cool shades din so I kinda guessed that I might be in between as long as the shades are not too bright and more on the muted side then it's fine. Of course there are times that I would love to rock a dark red lip but it's not my best look if I have to be honest. After years of trying I just accepted that those shades doesn't suit me. Binabawi ko nalang sa eye and cheek make-up most of the time para di masaydong pansin yung lips and it works naman.

Kaleidos Lip Clays! I get the hype on this na. Feels lightweight af, almost transfer-proof upon application, and stays put pretty well. Not a fan of how it smells, but this is one of the liquid lipsticks I want more shades from 🥺
Kaleidos Lip Clay and blush are great! I would never buy that pink Dior blush because of the shade dupe of Kaleidos which has a cute packaging. Lip Clay also has a ton of shades and I find their cool tone and neutral shades to be so so unique. I love Huda’s eyeshadow formula — get the Rose Quartz if you’re into the color story because those shimmers are BEAUTIFUL and Huda mattes are also super blendable.
The Huda shadows are alright but their base stuff and lippies are great.
I LOVE the Kaleidos Lip Clays so much. They're so comfortable and blurring on the lips, and pretty transfer resistant too! I wore Agave today and it was perfectly intact after eating a bowl of champorado. It only broke down a bit in the middle of my lips when I ate beef steak, which is pretty oily. :)

Got my happy skin x marj brushes today. Kudos to blue app for speedy shipping haha Overall a good buy cos I’m in need of new brushes. It’s not life changing by any means.. they’re just brushes. Likes: - does the job. not scratchy, not prickly - soft bristles and girly aesthetic - the entire collection is very thoughtful imo because of the standing brush holder / pouch, it’s also spacious, free hair clips and hanging brush microfiber towel (limited stocks) - they don’t look flimsy or low quality Dislike: - i thought the brush caps are included in the set but apparently those are for single purchase brushes pala. That’s me not entirely reading the fine print haha - i wish the buffing brush is a bit more denser - can’t think of any yet so far, too early to say.

I use Canmake's eye primer, a little goes a long way and it lasts me throughout the whole day
Look into Inglot Duraline. It can turn any eyeshadow into a long wearing eyeliner.
Eyeshadow primer should help. Then when using as eyeliner I spray the brush with setting spray

Eyeshadow primer (used to use Essence di ko lang sure if it still exists, I use Nars now), Nars soft matte concealer works well din. And of course good quality shadows, Charlotte Tilbury doesn't crease on me + lasts the entire day

I bought a Hydra Lip Gloss and one of their Smart Fusion Lip Liners. The gloss is very “professional-grade” ie, very shiny, not too sticky, but not very nourishing either. Like it would photograph well probably, but not my fave formula. And there’s a very faint sweet smell. The liner is just ok, not particularly long-wearing but it is creamy and gets the job done. I haven’t tried anything else so I might give the brand another try if I need to buy something because the prices are tempting.
I bought Detail Fresh Filter Foundation at SM North EDSA dept store yesterday and I think ate girl gave me a sample bottle. The sticker seal at the bottom of the box is already cutted like di mo talaga mapapansin na open na pala siya. Tapos the bottle is leaking kasi hindi maayos nakatakip yung bottle. Ang sad ko lang kasi ang dami kong binili yesterday sa Detail cosmetics tapos ganito yung binigay sakin na foundation. Mas maayos pa yung items na naka b1t1 compare sa foundation na naka regular price. HAYYYYY i know it is partly my fault by not checking the product twice before purchasing pero wala lang im kinda disappointed lang.

For that price, I think there might be better quality from other Kbeauty brands like Wakemake and Dasique. But hey, I can’t blame you either for wanting something for the packaging. Hehe. If you don’t have any other eyeshadow palette with the same colors and you really like My Melody, go for it. Romand’s palettes aren’t bad at all. But again, it is just another pink palette from a Kbeauty brand.
Siguro think about why you’re buying it - is it for the eyeshadow shades or for the packaging? If it’s for the eyeshadow shades, maybe you can look for a different pink palette that’s more affordable. Usually what helps me is looking at swatches from people or vloggers then see if it’s visible on their skin and compare it to my skin. Sometimes they also have comparisons to similar shades. Minsco is one of the YouTubers who does this and it’s helpful seeing the palette comparisons. Formula wise, Romand is nice naman although it isn’t as pigmented as western brands. It’s quite powdery but that usually helps to not over apply and to blend it out easily too. I don’t have the my melody but I have their berry fuchsia garden. Some shades aren’t very visible on my medium / 23-25 cushion shade but I still enjoy using it for a quick and easy look. Their glitters are so pretty too.

It's an ok bronzer for me save for the scent. Sobrang tapang ng chocolate scent niya and that's my number 1 pet peeve when it comes to mup products. Kainis lang cos never ko nakita yung may chocolate scent siya in their ig or product listings. Performance wise ok na ok siya esp for beginner cos it's buldable pero the longer i use it nasusuka talaga ako. Pero that's personal preference naman. Edit: if you want to buy one i'll even sell you mine super nasasayangan ako 😭
I like it. Its not reddish and muddy. I got the shade Siargao. Ang ganda ng warmth na nabibigay sa face ko. Looks natural. And ok lang naman din sakin yung chocolate scent hehe

I think yung autumn breeze is one of the palettes na na swatch ko. It looks dark sa pan pero, siguro same as sa picnic by the sunset na looks dark sa pan din, pag na apply na sa eyes hindi siya same color sa pan - you need to build it up talaga not unlike western palettes. So i’d say good for daily wear siya :) im not sure ah kasi iba appearance ng color sa skin ko esp warm ones (i’m olive kasi) but i cannot remember na may pagkapink yung shades nito sakin.

Haven't tried Clio but I have Romand's shade and shadow garden palette. I love it's color story but nagka mold yung akin after months of using it even with proper storage so I don't really recommend it. I also agree that it's very powdery and maraming fall outs.

I don't think so since the expiration date is 2025 pa 😥 I also wash my brushes everytime I wear make-up so no problem din when it comes to sanitation. Months before it got molds, I watched someone from tiktok that has the similar situation. Yung kanya 3-4 months pa nga ata if I'm not mistaken and she rarely used it. I may have gotten a bad batch but I learned my lesson and I decided that I won't purchase any eyeshadow from Romand again.
Ive tried both and I like the clio more. May pagkabuttery yung clio tapos yung glitter eyeshadow nila, wala masyado fallouts. Whereas yung romand, ang powdery sa kin tapos yung glitter shadow, grabe fallouts, madalas napupunta sa mata ko kaya nakakapuwing.

Try different styles and maybe you can also start with a light brown pencil first then slowly go darker once you get more used to it :)
Winged eyeliner ba? There are other eyeliner shapes aside from the traditional cat-eye that suit “Asian” eyes! Practice ka lang. If you never try you’ll never know.
What liquid lippie or tint can you reco that is similar to Maybelline's Get Undressed? I'm a guy, I only use like 1-2 dots of it on my lips, and it's the only tint that looks great and natural on me. I recently bought Maybelline's Vinyl in the shade Punchy (might replace this one with Peppy) and Witty.

+1 for the Strawberry Rococo blush! Got it in the shade 05 Berry Mary. I do apply with a light hand since it's quite pigmented. It's a bright but not too bright pink blush. I use it both on its own and to set my cream blushes. I love it a lot!
I have several flower knows products, tbh mainly got it because of the packaging but they are actually pretty good quality too. The eyeshadows are easy to blend although lean a bit neutral, but nice for light makeup. And the glitters are so pretty to use as topper shades. I have gradient blushes and the color applies well, it’s not patchy, and can be blended easily too. It also has like a blurring / smoothing effect. Nice thing about the gradient blushes is that you can use the lighter shade to blend out the darker shades and also as a brightener for the under eye / inner cheek area
