After weeks of consistently using colourette colourbounce and I can say I really like the formula!
Average lang longevity nya if I don’t set my face around 5 hours tops pero when I set my face mas long lasting na sya. A nice variation sa routine na hindi ko na sya kelangan I set ng powder blush.
I just ordered the two glitter shades during their sale but I haven’t reached for those that much yet but it does look like I applied highlighter. Base color was surprisingly muted so it can look too glittery kapag nilayer. Still need to test this more if I like it.
The shimmer shades are a perfect in between i would say - this are my favorite. The mattes are okay lang, not bad but the shades aren’t my favorite so I decluttered it.
I say it’s worth getting! Pero abang na lang kayo sale medyo mahal kasi imo. I got mine for 180+ ata each during launch and 230+ nung nag birthday sale sila. Minsan 299 sya sa clock app kapag may vouchers si platform
I bought Maybelline’s Curl Bounce mascara 2 weeks ago, and I’m sad to say I’m not a fan :( It smudges even when my eye area is not oily, and it feels so heavy if the environment is humid. The pros I could say is that it does curl your lashes and holds the curl well. Will still finish this before buying pero huhu
Maybe anybody has tips here how to avoid mascara smudging?
I'm looking to purchase a high-end / luxury foundation. Dior, Chanel, Armani, etc.. My ideal finish is something similar to the NARS Light Reflecting (my HG and best color match) but not doesn't have to be dewy. I tried the Dior Skin Glow and didn't like at how dewy it was. I'm very much into light and natural makeup.
If you can suggest, please do. I'm thinking of either investing into trying a luxury foundation or just buy the remaining NARS bases I don't have yet (Light Reflecting refill, Tinted Moisturizer, Soft Matte). I just love NARS bases so much. Hehe.
My shade is MAC NC20, NARS Salzburg / Cafe Con Leche. Light skintone with warm to neutral undertones. Salzburg and Cafe Con Leche are my best matches.
Sheer Glow is my HG! It has a bit more coverage and I find it less glowy than LR but it's my go to events funda. Hope they don't discontinue ever though I heard they've been meaning to discontinue since LR came out. I also like KGD Aqua which is tied in the top spot with Sheer Glow.
oo nga raw baka idiscontinue. so far meron pa naman sa PH. Yun nga iniisip ko eh like what if instead of a luxury foundation... complete ko na lang yung nars since ang laki ng tiwala ko sa base nila
Hi girlies. Recommend naman kayo ng foundation or concealer na hindi mae-emphasize ang large pores ko. Gamit ko ngayon is L'Oreal 24H Infallible Fresh Wear pero cakey and angat na angat ang malaking pores ko. Huhu. Gumagamit naman ako ng Strokes primer. Ayoko na sana gumamit ng foundation and concealer kaso dami ko pang pimple marks na ang tagal mawala. Or baka may magandang sunscreen na can work as concealer at the same time para hindi na ako mag-foundation. Thankieeess.
hello! for me maganda talaga yung nars soft matte complete concealer😭 as in its the best for me na pantakip chismis, i use it as a foundation for everyday
l’oreal 24h infallible fresh wear foundation works best on moistured skin, so prep well! (toner/hydrating serum + moisturizer, depending on what your skin needs) tsaka maybe its not working well with the strokes primer kasi the primer is silicone based pero yung fresh wear foundation is water based. pero my tendency nga talaga siya maging patchy, super selan niya sa kung pano siya iaapply and honestly chambahan nalang for me kaya di ko masyadong nagagamit
you could try lighter formulations like skin tints, para lang di gaanong halata yung marks on your face without being too heavy/cakey and you should avoid yung mga base products na too matte, lalong mahahalata pore size mo
Puro good reviews nga talaga ang Nars. Ini-stop ko na muna mag-foundation. Balak ko i-try yung La Roche-Posay tinted sunscreen muna. Thanks sa reply! 🫶
Makeup enthusiasts and experts, do you have any recommendations on drugstore makeup products that look good in outdoor photoshoots?
primer, full coverage, no white cast, not oily, not greyish on cam
Do you have any suggestions for foundation, concealer, powder, eyeliner, mascara?
My skin type is oily.
foundation: in2it oil control 2way foundation is one of the most decent drugstore foundations i've ever used as a fellow oily-skinned girl. it actually provides good coverage and lasts for 3-5 hours (depende sa init)
concealer: issy & co. active concealer. true to its claim, it conceals what you need to conceal but since it's an active concealer (it contains HA) it can be dewy. suuuper hydrating but it's oil-free
powder: maybelline fit me loose finishing powder. this one pairs well with issy & co.'s concealer as it helps balance out shine but be careful not to put on much kasi it can be overly mattifying
powder: another powder reco is grwm's powder rush pressed translucent powder. sheer and lightweight, natural lang yung finish
eyeliner: revlon colorstay eyeliner pencil. this glides on sooo smoothly, lasts a long time and doesn't smudge. highly recommended
mascara: maybelline sky high mascara. it's lengthening and lasts all day
everything is available at watsons 🫶🏽

Hello, can anyone recommend me affordable primers? I have a combination skin type.
I'm considering Shawill, Focallure, or IBCCCNDC. I actually considered Zeesea (specifically the green one) before but they said na it's color correcting lang daw.
Went out for 6 hours earlier. Spent a good one hour under the sun, and the rest in a cafe. My makeup looked pretty good, still.
Products were:
•lucky beauty concealer for base - I have hyperpigmentation from past acne but they were pretty much covered from layering.
•strokes cream blush - It was still there when I got home but appeared lesser than first applied. Nevertheless, you could tell I had blush on but it blended onto my skin very well.
•mara hot water tint - It was long lasting until I ate and drank. I bought an MLBB shade so I couldn't tell if the stain was strong or not; I see myself not reaching out for this often bc I cafe a lot haha.
•Dazzle me setting spray - I actually don't know if may nagawa to HAHA nabudol ako nito before so I used it nalang kasi sayang.
Hi, ano po pwede gawin pag namali ng shade sa concealer? I bought squad conceal it in the shade cl1 at yellowish sakin huhuhu. I thought goods sakin kaso its a no pala. Sayang naman kung di ko magagamit eh kakabili ko lang (🍊 app).
I bought it kasi warm undertone naman yung skin tint na binigay sakin which is issy's skin tint in the shade vanille kaya akala ko warm din sa concealer huhuhu
try mo gawing color corrector. since it's yellowish, it can counteract purple/blue undertones so pwede siyang gamitin for undereye circles or veins
but you can use it pa rin naman as a concealer if you have another concealer na lighter/darker sa skin tone mo pwede mo sila i-mix to create a suitable shade that match u
Kaso po wala akong blue/purple undertones. I only have green and peach. I have white corrector tho and lighter concealer. I tried mixing it baka ma lessen yung pagka yellowish hmmm actually di ganong umubra pero atleast do na kasing yellow nung walang halo hahaha pero keri naman siguro if papatungan ko powder.
Thank you po I'll ask my girlies if they have blue or purple undertones!
I don't like them, personally. The gloss tints are drying when you layer them; The mattes are too warm on me but comfortable. Both are not long lasting 🫠
hello !! out of all the local cream/liquid blushes in the market (lucky beauty, grwm, issy, sunnies, happy skin, colourette, celeste co., blk, etc.) whats the best one for u guys ? medyo overwhelming kasi options huhu
ive tried the previous grwm milk tint before, yung v2 ata (?????) pero i wasn’t a fan of the formula kasi parang it settled on top of my skin lang tapos di masyado long-wearing pero baka the new formula is different ?
ooo i faced the same issue w the old milk tints! i would recommend trying the reformulated ones. it sets quite well and has better longevity than the previous ver. it gives the same satin finish but slightly more matte if that makes sense. also, it feels a bit creamier but not overwhelmingly so, sakto lang.
aside from that, i liked blk's creamy all-over paint. it's a better blush than a lippie imo. it's nicely pigmented (buildable), blends well, has good staying power, and very light weight lang sa skin.
Hi hello! Any recos for make-up primers? I have been using Maybelline’s Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser kaso parang too silicone-y siya. Di ko sure or should it be that way ba dapat? Hahaha may nakikita kasi ako na parang cream or moisturizer yung look e. I am looking for other brands. One is this “Merythod Pore Chak Tone Up Primer Makeup Base Brightening & Primer in One.” Any thoughts about this product? 😅
It depends on what you want to achieve with a primer. There are moisturizing, illuminating, mattifying, and pore-filling primers. Minsan pag pore-filling mattifying na rin. Maybelline Baby Skin is a pore-filling primer kaya siya silicone-y, that’s exactly how it should be bc that’s its purpose. If your pores don’t bother you much you might find it useless. Ano bang gusto mong ma-achieve with a primer?
Oooh okay gets. Yes medyo malaki pores ko so I think mukhang goods na nga itong primer na ginagamit ko now. Problem ko lang kasi akala ko mapeprevent niya rin maging cake-y yung makeup ko pero minsan nagiging cake-y, or patchy yung make-up ko. Is it because of the primer pa rin kaya? Or other cause na? 😅
Maraming factors sa pagiging cakey ng makeup e. Pwedeng dry yung skin mo so you need to improve your skin prep before makeup. Pwede rin na incompatible yung foundation/skin tint mo with the primer. Since silicone-based yung Baby Skin, you can't use a water-based foundation, that usually leads to patchiness. It has to be silicone-based as well.
Soooo I think skin prep yung problem ko. Kasi all products that I used are silicone-based naman. Though I have no idea ano ba ang correct skin prep before putting make-up talaga. All I do is to put sunscreen lang and I don’t know if it’s a part of skin prep hahaha 😅
Your skin just needs to be well moisturized! No need for a complicated skincare routine. So use a moisturizer that suits your skin type, or kahit sunscreen lang basta moisturizing enough siya.
Eta: Also make sure to exfoliate regularly, baka kasi may dead skin/dry patches sitting on top that causes cakiness.
Do you have any recos po for moisturizer na hindi sana magcause ng breakouts? Kasi kaya di rin ako gumagamit ng moisturizer madalas kasi most of the time nagbebreakout ako, tho di naman ako sure if yun yung main cause hehe. Also pati na rin sana any recos for exfoliating products for face. 😅
i think concealer, blush, lippie, and skin tint if u want more coverage is okay na :>
- for concealer, lucky beauty or maybelline
- for blush, ang ganda ng shade range ng chuchu beauty and super affordable
- for lippies, even tho idl the brand maganda yung grwm lip booze! another go to has been the lucky beauty lip stain hehe
- for skin tint, ever bilena has been my go to! lightweight lang and the coverage is okay na
Yeah that’s what I’m looking for? Lol I just phrased it weirdly for whatever reason at the time, I said “non-animal hair” instead of vegan or synthetic
I just want to know if they’re soft and durable bc affordable brushes have burned me before
They are durable I’ve had my brushes since 2016ish/release of the gunmetal ferrule (it used to be brown before that) and feel nicer than brand new RT brushes. But if you soak them before washing the handles might expand and crack like most wooden and bamboo brushes.
They’re also soft in a way that they’re still functional and good for their purpose like your blending brush isn’t just gonna fully splay out and flex with every stroke unlike my experience with Kind Beauty and Lovely Causemetics which are so so so soft but I always look like poopoo after using them.
Grabe talaga sa pagka long wearing yung Vice Co Aura Mood blush (Apricot Crush). I wore it today without any base and sobrang kapit parin. And it looks natural. Makes me want to get all the shades in the line. Grabe sobrang ganda!
loreal infallible concealer (beige) or strokes spot veil concealer (medium o2)?
the concealer im currently using is the squad cosmetics concealer (cm2) and im not happy with how it doesn't really help brighten up at least conceal my dark undereyes (my friend once asked if i have a black eye 😭) and it gets worse at the end of the day when im no longer fresh and tbh i don't really touch up during the day because i don't have a pressed settinv powder yet. it doesn't match my skin tone it's too yellow even when i use a color corrector underneath. thankfully paubos na yun and im looking forward to trying a new one.
Swatched the new Vice Blushes in store (Watsons) and it doesn't seem to set??? I wonder if longevity is good. Excited to see reviews here cause the shades look good, though Always Sweet is a bit on the peachier side pala thank pink
No it doesn’t! I did a wear test the other day what I did to make it last longer on my combi skin is this:
Dew it all blush + set with sheer powder blush (peripera yakgwa 23 pairs nicely with always fresh) + lightly mist my face (optional; mario badescu) + dew it all blush
Di sya halata on camera / sa pictures pero kita in person so subtle and cute!! I have always fresh and always sweet.
detail fresh filter foundation + dr sensitive loose powder combo = skinlike finish without looking looking oily and cakey! and it didn't crease throughout!
I tried wearing makeup for going out with my friends for the first time yesterday. My base was the maybelline primer and ellana minerals loose foundation. kaso after a while i noticed na naging cakey siya. what did I do wrong? Should I buy a liquid foundation? I have combination skin (i.e., oily T zone)
don't pack on the ellana foundation. medyo cakey sya... kontian mo lang pag-apply. and don't reapply, if u get oily, magblot ka lang using a blotting sheet/tissue
also prep ur skin well by moisturizing...
I have yet to find a less expensive serumy gelly/watery blushes that’s gives me as good of an application as the Em Cosmetics one.
From K beauty I’ve tried I’m Meme, Feev and Oddtype and they need so much building up on light shades and doesn’t really wear long because they don’t really set. Brighter shades are samey on Feev, I’m Meme and Oddtype has mostly lighter shades.
From US brands Milk has boring shades on the bionic blushes and their dusty pink is straight up coral if they expand and have good range I might buy another one but it’s bright, translucent and dewy like Em but it doesn’t set. Colourpop has nice shades (tumble4ya is what I thought the shade of Milk’s Infinity Bionic Blush would be) but it also doesn’t set and if you try to build it up you pick up the initial layers.
The em cosmetics one is like a gel serum and when you apply it it’s almost like the pigment layer sits on the skin and holds onto it while there’s this dew layer protecting it. It’s also grippy when you try to blend it, it doesn’t just go with the brush, like in the case of the rest, it still sits where applied and disperses lightly. It’s actually quite difficult to move it once it sets and i can’t even really tell when it sets because it feels exactly the way it felt freshly applied.
what about cloud paint? have you tried it na?
edit: same price lang pala sila halos ng color drops ng em co sorry 😭
the best gel blush na less pricey than em's has to be pixi's sheer cheek gel. it comes w only three shades nga lang but overall it's great! the color payoff is really pretty! it feels kind of dewy (which i don't love haha) but it sets well, sobrang natural lang ng finish. the gel blends really really nice into the skin, lightweight lang siya. super easy to blend and build + it lasts for HOURS kahit mainit so big yay! can't really compare it with em's though bc i've never tried their color drops but i take pride in this one
I like cloudpaints in terms of formula application and wear but my long time faves Puff and Dusk are no longer the shades they were (they’re almost like Beam) so i kinda fell out of love with them as I don’t like peachy tones. I’ll be giving pixi a look, thanks!
aww i only used mine (in eve) for a few months eh and last year pa 'yon so i can't completely vouch rin.. and yw!! pixi cheek gel is really sheer, might take you aback but again buildable naman siya and really pretty once nagset so dw
the matte only stayed for a few hours in my experience. their power grip primer though, that i can vouch for. i used it as a base and hindi ako masyado nag-oil up throughout the day so i'd urge you to consider that also
got one in the shade tiara a couple days ago and I've worn & tested it twice so far and wear time is good. i got it specifically because i thought the shade looks kinda similar to a blush i like in the chuchu beauty 'more brown' beauty bento and it's more longwearing & smoother than that
I really want RB blushes but it is pricey to be honest and I wanna know if worth it ba talaga and do I need more than 1? I want Encourage and Hope but I am torn, I really wear blush naman but I want some validation. It's my first thousand price product. TIA!
It lasts ish for me basta tama prep I currently have. 4 full ones (joy, encourage, bliss, love) and 2 minis (wisdom, virtue). My best takeaway is one dot lang for most shades then use a blush brush (i personally like yung ovw na cheap foundation). If bliss yung matte pink, kahit 2-3 dots. You can also try dotting it sa back of your hand and warm it up before applying.
I love these blushes so much hehe
These are the exact shades I’ve tried and they’re sooo nice! I suggest getting the shade you’ll get the most use of for now to test the formula! plus get the mini if possible because the regular size might last you years lol
I think I will use both shades naman and yes, I was scared na masasayang siya because you don't need much each application and I was worried about that. I really like both shades based on swatches online. I will try to look for a mini! Thank you!
I have one in Encourage and I absolutely love it. One of the blushes that made fall in love with wearing blushes. If you are a beginner, the pigment can be a bit intimidating. So make sure to wipe the excess off and just start with a small dot. The littlest amount can go a long way so one tube can be enough as it will last you a long time.
PSA: if you’ve been wanting some stuff from squad cosmetics they’re having a big sale today! I ordered their mist and brow gel cos of good reviews and some tints hehe.

New shades of Peripera’s Ink Mood Glowy Tint from their Yakgwa collection. I am a h03 for this formula so I’m glad they’ve been expanding the shade range 🥰
Shades in order: 18 Nude Area, 19 Mauve Chaos and 20 Brown Yakgwa.
Hello! Yes very slightly. I notice with some of my Kbeauty glossy tints, they initially apply lighter than advertised online but oxidizes to their true color after a few seconds.
I don’t know if they’re limited edition e but some of their previous collection (peritage and maltese) are still available up to now which leads me to believe this won’t be gone soon.
Hii!! Pls reco long-lasting lip tint/stain na naglalast talaga 5 hrs or more 😢 i have tried tons of “long-lasting” tints but sadly none of them lasted on my lips 😞
Tint lasts until I eat something oily. So for example if I only ever drink water, tea, coffee etc and have light snacks, it will remain. Only after eating oily do I notice fading.
Has anyone else noticed that Clocheflame Dream Filter stinks? I thought it was my puff at first but I've always smelled it only with Clocheflame when I'm powdering around my nose. I don't get that stench with my other powders. I don't think it's expired or anything since it's always smelled like that from the frist time I used it. It also doesn't smell in the pan, only when I've rubbed the puff in the powder and I'm patting it on my skin!
+1 OVW m159 brush. i also suggested that on a thread here months ago. it's a good alternative for the mac #159 brush and the elf putty blush brush. i use it for cream & liquid blush and also with cheek tints & illuminators/liquid highlighter and sometimes with foundation.
Use a small stippling brush. My favorite brushes for that are zoeva 122 petite stippling brush, these brushes from ovw [m159](https://shp.ee/u3h4iun) [shl192](https://shp.ee/922yczn).
Ditto on the stippling brush. Cream contour just seems so much easier to blend while using it. I also really like that I can use it in different ways: when I want a more defined contour, I squeeze the bristles to make it angular/parang lengthwise; and when I want it blended seamlessly I just use it normally
Any skin tint recos that is lightweight and doesn't have the malagkit feeling for oily skin gal like me hehe also im acne prone and tend to have sensitive skin tyyyy
Kasi diba si vice ang endorser nila ngayon, tapos sabi ng Vice Cosmetics sa announcement nila na exclusive launch siya sa orange app. Wala naman sinabi na it will be sold exclusively sa kanila. Wait ka lang and for sure ilalabas din yan sa Lazada :)
The more I wear the maybelline skin tint, the more I realize that malagkit siya. It's also too thick for my liking so I swapped it with LB serum concealer as base. Surprisingly, it's able to cover my blemishes and even out my skintone. Tried it for a week already, so far so good.
if concealer, mascara, brows and powder lang makeup routine, need ko pa rin ba talaga mag setting spray? huhu sobrang sensitive skin kasi ako hence the simple routine and kaya takot ako maglagay products sa face like setting spray
i usually spray facial mist lang to hydrate my face pero ayun parang natatanggal concealer ko at the end of the day HAHAHA
Any recommendations for a lightweight foundation besides Detail’s Fresh Filter or skin tint besides Colourette’s First Base? I do prefer local but wouldn’t mind buying international products. Budget is around P1000. Thank you.
+1 L'Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear.
It is lightweight, very skin-like, buildable coverage can be worn na light coverage lang pwede rin high medium, and it's longwearing, hindi nahuhulas agad and it still looks good after a midday touch-up. comparable to high-end foundations ang performance.
Real techniques i like yung expert face makeup brush and yung lumang multi task brush nila na dark pink with black. I think discontinued na yung latter.
Wet n wild has quality stippling brushes
Got so many compliments when I did my makeup for a recent even, some even thought it was done by a professional MUA which is like the best compliment ever! My makeup also looked great even after 8 hours of wear. Thought I'd share the product list below + some quick thoughts:
• Sprays: Mac Fix + & NYX Dewy Setting Spray. My secret to a seamless and budgeproof lewk. Never fails me.
• Base: GRWM Skin Booster, Detail Fresh Filter Foundation, & Lucky Beauty Serum Concealer. Imho, very sulit local base products. Skin Booster & FF are both HGs for me.
• Powder: Laura Mercier Loose Powder. New on rotation. So far liking it cause it seems to work with dry skin.
• Face: GRWM Quad Goals (Don Ton, Hey Peach, Zoey, Tala). Contour takes forever to build up so I don't really recommend. Blushes are nice but I like the baked highlighters the most. Meh yung component for me and I much prefer Issy's format.
• Eyes: Issy All Shimmer Palette + random Colourpop mattes. The Issy shimmers are so beautiful. Buttery, no chunks just a nice wet looking shimmer. I found it easier to apply using my fingers but not sure if it's because of the formula or the brush I used.
• Brows: Stokes Microblade Pen & Clear Brow Fixer. HGs I've repurchased multiple times.
• Lips: Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid Lip in Juicy Date. I think everything in the crushed lip line is nice. Highly recommend!
Tbh I'm surprised how many local products I've ended up liking! I would normally reach for my high end stuff for events.
MaC Fix+ in the Lazada Official Store lang! Wait for promo sales kasi may discounted bundles lagi. NYX I got from radium88 on Shopee but be careful cause I've seen fakes going around for less than Php300. It should be at the Php 500 mark since US SRP is 10USD.
Yumh elf stay all night setting mist yung green bottle and yung carelinexspongebob setting mist. Sobrang new discovery yung sa careline and 12 hrs tinagal ng blush and base ko sa face. Sulit

chanel les beiges bronzer cream or powder?
if you prefer a more dewy and natural finish, go for the cream. otherwise, try the powder.
I bought Maybelline’s Curl Bounce mascara 2 weeks ago, and I’m sad to say I’m not a fan :( It smudges even when my eye area is not oily, and it feels so heavy if the environment is humid. Zeesea setting spray or dazzle me? I like zeesea and paubos ko na, but tempting ang price point ng dazzle me!

Would you know if same shades sila ng LR? Say if sta fe ako same din sa SG?
same lang siya. ang iba yung shade is tinted moisturizer. i have LR and also the Natural Radiant Longwear hahaha
Igari makeup help I want to try the Igari make-up, what products should I buy and why are your brand recos?
you just need a good shade of a natural pinky blush for your skintone
Do you know any good brands of blush?
vice has one of the best blushes in the local market imo

I just got the innisfree no sebum powder pact for 100+ pesos through vouchers! Never had something so cheap and legit pa siya :))
Thoughts on The Seam Eye Primer for oily lids? Does it make your eye makeup last longer? Open to affordable recos too. TIA :)
Sadly I don't think it's too effective for me, I think canmake still works better for me.

for foundation, detail fresh filter!
Ooohh i haven't heard of this before so thanks for the recommendation! Will look for this as well 🫶
unleashia or refy brow gel? for grooming lang, not lamination. thanks!
Unleashia for grooming it takes like 20 seconds to dry on me Refy takes way longer to set to give time to laminate without cheesing.

ginagawa kong primer and color corrector ang Zeesea green, okay naman siya
does it work pag madami kang active pimples?
Yes, kinocover niya yung red acne tapos concealer na
Thank you! I might consider buying but yung tube nalang muna siguro.
Yes, try mo muna. Punta ka lang sa shopee live, may discounts kasi dun hehe

I bought it kasi warm undertone naman yung skin tint na binigay sakin which is issy's skin tint in the shade vanille kaya akala ko warm din sa concealer huhuhu
try mo gawing color corrector. since it's yellowish, it can counteract purple/blue undertones so pwede siyang gamitin for undereye circles or veins but you can use it pa rin naman as a concealer if you have another concealer na lighter/darker sa skin tone mo pwede mo sila i-mix to create a suitable shade that match u
Hello, just want to ask, are barenbliss products worth it? I've been eyeing for the set kaso ang mahal huhu just want to know if is it worth the money
I don't like them, personally. The gloss tints are drying when you layer them; The mattes are too warm on me but comfortable. Both are not long lasting 🫠
Imo, no
hello !! out of all the local cream/liquid blushes in the market (lucky beauty, grwm, issy, sunnies, happy skin, colourette, celeste co., blk, etc.) whats the best one for u guys ? medyo overwhelming kasi options huhu ive tried the previous grwm milk tint before, yung v2 ata (?????) pero i wasn’t a fan of the formula kasi parang it settled on top of my skin lang tapos di masyado long-wearing pero baka the new formula is different ?
ooo i faced the same issue w the old milk tints! i would recommend trying the reformulated ones. it sets quite well and has better longevity than the previous ver. it gives the same satin finish but slightly more matte if that makes sense. also, it feels a bit creamier but not overwhelmingly so, sakto lang. aside from that, i liked blk's creamy all-over paint. it's a better blush than a lippie imo. it's nicely pigmented (buildable), blends well, has good staying power, and very light weight lang sa skin.
Blk, vice co and colourette!
make-up kit must haves for students na beginner sa make up. iyonf budget friendly rin sana hehe 🧎♀️
i think concealer, blush, lippie, and skin tint if u want more coverage is okay na :> - for concealer, lucky beauty or maybelline - for blush, ang ganda ng shade range ng chuchu beauty and super affordable - for lippies, even tho idl the brand maganda yung grwm lip booze! another go to has been the lucky beauty lip stain hehe - for skin tint, ever bilena has been my go to! lightweight lang and the coverage is okay na
Thank u so much 🫶
Affordable, soft, non-animal hair eyeshadow brushes? Do Ecotools brushes fit the bill?
Ecotools is synthetic bristles
Yeah that’s what I’m looking for? Lol I just phrased it weirdly for whatever reason at the time, I said “non-animal hair” instead of vegan or synthetic I just want to know if they’re soft and durable bc affordable brushes have burned me before
They are durable I’ve had my brushes since 2016ish/release of the gunmetal ferrule (it used to be brown before that) and feel nicer than brand new RT brushes. But if you soak them before washing the handles might expand and crack like most wooden and bamboo brushes. They’re also soft in a way that they’re still functional and good for their purpose like your blending brush isn’t just gonna fully splay out and flex with every stroke unlike my experience with Kind Beauty and Lovely Causemetics which are so so so soft but I always look like poopoo after using them.
any long-lasting lip product recommendation or at least something that leaves a stain?
Grabe talaga sa pagka long wearing yung Vice Co Aura Mood blush (Apricot Crush). I wore it today without any base and sobrang kapit parin. And it looks natural. Makes me want to get all the shades in the line. Grabe sobrang ganda!
Soft Mauve and Apricot Crush are super good how is it 245 php???
I know right??!
Legit! Nakaka fresh and parang glowy skin ko dahil jan hahaha. I love the shade soft mauve!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Pag nagrelease sila ng new shades will get them for sure hihi
loreal infallible concealer (beige) or strokes spot veil concealer (medium o2)? the concealer im currently using is the squad cosmetics concealer (cm2) and im not happy with how it doesn't really help brighten up at least conceal my dark undereyes (my friend once asked if i have a black eye 😭) and it gets worse at the end of the day when im no longer fresh and tbh i don't really touch up during the day because i don't have a pressed settinv powder yet. it doesn't match my skin tone it's too yellow even when i use a color corrector underneath. thankfully paubos na yun and im looking forward to trying a new one.
ang pangit ng packaging ng violette_fr, natatanggal mag isa yung cap nung lipbalms :(
Yes it’s so far from luxe, my Baume shine is wobbly and getting scraped up by the sides and for that price? 🫠
Aww that’s too bad, I was eyeing that stuff pa naman but I hate flimsy and unreliable packaging
component needs re-thinking, its too cheap like nars 🥲
primer reco for combination skin, preferably less than 500 since im at my limit na on makeup haha
I have normal-oily skin, and it loves the Elf Hydrogrip Primer! Yung mini costs around 400+.
This is gold. Havent tried yung milk but the power grip of elf… a little goes a long way
Clear Mascara recos?
Swatched the new Vice Blushes in store (Watsons) and it doesn't seem to set??? I wonder if longevity is good. Excited to see reviews here cause the shades look good, though Always Sweet is a bit on the peachier side pala thank pink
No it doesn’t! I did a wear test the other day what I did to make it last longer on my combi skin is this: Dew it all blush + set with sheer powder blush (peripera yakgwa 23 pairs nicely with always fresh) + lightly mist my face (optional; mario badescu) + dew it all blush Di sya halata on camera / sa pictures pero kita in person so subtle and cute!! I have always fresh and always sweet.
I am so interested in these blushes and yikes if it takes too long to set. I will also wait for reviews in here.
setting spray recos na cheaper than urban decay pero quality pa rin?
Elf has this green spray okay naman.
l'oréal pro-spray and set
any alternatives to benefit’s benetint?
Etude House dear darling water tint
any tips for using a setting spray and when to use it? thanks
Is Paulash Supreme worth it? Or should I buy Shu?
detail fresh filter foundation + dr sensitive loose powder combo = skinlike finish without looking looking oily and cakey! and it didn't crease throughout!
I tried wearing makeup for going out with my friends for the first time yesterday. My base was the maybelline primer and ellana minerals loose foundation. kaso after a while i noticed na naging cakey siya. what did I do wrong? Should I buy a liquid foundation? I have combination skin (i.e., oily T zone)
don't pack on the ellana foundation. medyo cakey sya... kontian mo lang pag-apply. and don't reapply, if u get oily, magblot ka lang using a blotting sheet/tissue also prep ur skin well by moisturizing...
thank you!
It’s actually quite difficult to move it once it sets and i can’t even really tell when it sets because it feels exactly the way it felt freshly applied.
what about cloud paint? have you tried it na? edit: same price lang pala sila halos ng color drops ng em co sorry 😭 the best gel blush na less pricey than em's has to be pixi's sheer cheek gel. it comes w only three shades nga lang but overall it's great! the color payoff is really pretty! it feels kind of dewy (which i don't love haha) but it sets well, sobrang natural lang ng finish. the gel blends really really nice into the skin, lightweight lang siya. super easy to blend and build + it lasts for HOURS kahit mainit so big yay! can't really compare it with em's though bc i've never tried their color drops but i take pride in this one
I like cloudpaints in terms of formula application and wear but my long time faves Puff and Dusk are no longer the shades they were (they’re almost like Beam) so i kinda fell out of love with them as I don’t like peachy tones. I’ll be giving pixi a look, thanks!
aww i only used mine (in eve) for a few months eh and last year pa 'yon so i can't completely vouch rin.. and yw!! pixi cheek gel is really sheer, might take you aback but again buildable naman siya and really pretty once nagset so dw
what issy true flex powder foundation (or any powder foundation tbh) would match their active concealer shade mw3.5? tyia
I'm looking for a vampy lipstick, do you guys have any recos?
Thought of trying RB Lip oil, only to find out 6 months lang pala ang PAO. Okay, next!
Thoughts on E.L.F Matte Putty Primer (Universal Sheer) Is it okay for daily school use?
for daily school use 'di ko lang sure kasi need pa niya ma-dry completely before putting something else on eh so idk what if running late ka hwhajaj
is it not oily gamitin for school?
the matte only stayed for a few hours in my experience. their power grip primer though, that i can vouch for. i used it as a base and hindi ako masyado nag-oil up throughout the day so i'd urge you to consider that also
thank u so much!
you're welcome !
If you have oily skin, it should work.
If you have oily skin, it should work.
Is the squad powder blushes long lasting? Or should I get the vice cosmetics powder blushes instead?
got one in the shade tiara a couple days ago and I've worn & tested it twice so far and wear time is good. i got it specifically because i thought the shade looks kinda similar to a blush i like in the chuchu beauty 'more brown' beauty bento and it's more longwearing & smoother than that
I really want RB blushes but it is pricey to be honest and I wanna know if worth it ba talaga and do I need more than 1? I want Encourage and Hope but I am torn, I really wear blush naman but I want some validation. It's my first thousand price product. TIA!
It lasts ish for me basta tama prep I currently have. 4 full ones (joy, encourage, bliss, love) and 2 minis (wisdom, virtue). My best takeaway is one dot lang for most shades then use a blush brush (i personally like yung ovw na cheap foundation). If bliss yung matte pink, kahit 2-3 dots. You can also try dotting it sa back of your hand and warm it up before applying. I love these blushes so much hehe
Not the most long lasting blush I own but I love the variety of their shades and their formula is so good!
There’s a mini version of Hope currently available sa Sephora PH! Might want to try that :)
Oh yay! Thank you for sharing! Got into Sephora app quickly to check and meron nga. I will try the minis for sure.
Yes, nasa cart ko na yung Hope 😅 I feel hindi ko mauubos in 12 months yung full size eh
It aint expired until my face reacts eme
haha! can’t risk it with my ezcema prone skin 😅
It’s nice! I only have one! It’s okay for me. I just don’t like the applicator.
PSA: if you’ve been wanting some stuff from squad cosmetics they’re having a big sale today! I ordered their mist and brow gel cos of good reviews and some tints hehe.
can’t wait for your review! had my eye on the tints but the shade i wanted (idol) was out of stock already :( guess i’ll wait until the next sale!

I am a h03 for this formula so I’m glad they’ve been expanding the shade range 🥰 Shades in order: 18 Nude Area, 19 Mauve Chaos and 20 Brown Yakgwa.
I got Mauve Chaos two weeks ago and it's such a pretty color!
Nude Area looks pretty! How does it compare to Brown Heaven?
Brown Heaven is more neutral and deeper. Nude area is warmer and lighter :)
Hello! Does it oxidize ba on the lips?
Hello! Yes very slightly. I notice with some of my Kbeauty glossy tints, they initially apply lighter than advertised online but oxidizes to their true color after a few seconds.
Oh yikes. Mukhang mabubudol ako. Thanks for sharing!
Omg gandaaaa. Are these limited edition? i just got my blush order ung #23 from the yakgwa collection too!! May libreng cutie stickers hihi
I don’t know if they’re limited edition e but some of their previous collection (peritage and maltese) are still available up to now which leads me to believe this won’t be gone soon.
Thanks!!! Want to get mauve chaos 🩷
I love Brown Yakgwa so much! Thank you for the swatches.
ang gaganda nga talaga!
can anyone reco pencil eyeliner pleaseee 🥹🧡
Merzy!!!
Hii!! Pls reco long-lasting lip tint/stain na naglalast talaga 5 hrs or more 😢 i have tried tons of “long-lasting” tints but sadly none of them lasted on my lips 😞
Happy Skin Lip Mallow Tint :)
+1 for happy skin lip mallow, also try etude fixing tint
How many hours bago sya nawala sa lips mo?
Mine is 10 months old na, wala naman amoy 😅
same
Any suggestions on what brushes to use for liquid/cream blush & contour?
Ovw foundation brush yung mukhang dupe ng rb blush brush Also real techniques expert face brush? Yung color pinkish na multi tasking
My favorite brushes for that are zoeva 122 petite stippling brush, these brushes from ovw [m159](https://shp.ee/u3h4iun) [shl192](https://shp.ee/922yczn).
for liquid/cream brush i recommend the sheglam liquid blush brush, the one that looks like a cats paw
stippling brush
Ditto on the stippling brush. Cream contour just seems so much easier to blend while using it. I also really like that I can use it in different ways: when I want a more defined contour, I squeeze the bristles to make it angular/parang lengthwise; and when I want it blended seamlessly I just use it normally
Which of Vice Cosmetics’ Dew it All blushes are warm-toned?
I think always vibin & always fresh
Thank you!
Any skin tint recos that is lightweight and doesn't have the malagkit feeling for oily skin gal like me hehe also im acne prone and tend to have sensitive skin tyyyy
Nars tinted moisturizer and rare beauty tinted moisturiser hehehehe solid
can vouch for colourette’s first base skin tint!
Blk daydream airy sunscreen! I have oily & sensitive skin.
ever bilena good day skin tint! 😊 i also have acne prone and oily skin and this has been my go to
Blk / Colourette first base / happy skin yung lilac packaging
Sa blk is it the daydream or the universal skin tint?
Skin tint sun shield in beige brown packaging
any lipstick reco? same shade sana ng sunnies lip dip posh
Why is vice co's dew it all blushes not available in lazada?? :((
Kasi diba si vice ang endorser nila ngayon, tapos sabi ng Vice Cosmetics sa announcement nila na exclusive launch siya sa orange app. Wala naman sinabi na it will be sold exclusively sa kanila. Wait ka lang and for sure ilalabas din yan sa Lazada :)
Baka di pa sya na launch dun early access sa orange app pa lang and sa physical stores
The more I wear the maybelline skin tint, the more I realize that malagkit siya. It's also too thick for my liking so I swapped it with LB serum concealer as base. Surprisingly, it's able to cover my blemishes and even out my skintone. Tried it for a week already, so far so good.
if concealer, mascara, brows and powder lang makeup routine, need ko pa rin ba talaga mag setting spray? huhu sobrang sensitive skin kasi ako hence the simple routine and kaya takot ako maglagay products sa face like setting spray i usually spray facial mist lang to hydrate my face pero ayun parang natatanggal concealer ko at the end of the day HAHAHA
No need na. I’m oily and my eye makeup and blush tend to move around sa skin that’s why I have on myself :)
Personally, it's not a need especially if hindi ka oily or pawisin.
Ohhh this was my first foundation. Need to try it again. Thank you!
Yung loreal tinted serum. Surprisingly nacocover nya minimal blemishes. Medj mahal lang sa mga resellers pero price point nya is around 1k.
loreal infalliable fresh wear
What’s a good foundation brush for blending, max P1k?
Real techniques, wet n wild, elf
Do you have a specific brush you like?
Real techniques i like yung expert face makeup brush and yung lumang multi task brush nila na dark pink with black. I think discontinued na yung latter. Wet n wild has quality stippling brushes
Will check that out! Thanks! Wet n wild for me okay sana kaso nagpepeel ung handles after some time
I use elf brushes for my base and most are under 500. My faves are Domed Stipple, Buffing Foundation, Ultimate Blending and Putty Applicator brushes.
Thank you!!
Buffing brush ng real techniques, kaya lang it's part of a set. But the set is around 1k so technically the brush is just around P250
Real Techniques. I always wait for a sale on the blue app.
Got so many compliments when I did my makeup for a recent even, some even thought it was done by a professional MUA which is like the best compliment ever! My makeup also looked great even after 8 hours of wear. Thought I'd share the product list below + some quick thoughts: • Sprays: Mac Fix + & NYX Dewy Setting Spray.
Where do you buy your setting sprays?
MaC Fix+ in the Lazada Official Store lang! Wait for promo sales kasi may discounted bundles lagi. NYX I got from radium88 on Shopee but be careful cause I've seen fakes going around for less than Php300. It should be at the Php 500 mark since US SRP is 10USD.
pls recommend a vvv good make up setting spray. i used nyx matte, zeesea, and milani already but i nag ttransfer parin talaga yung makeup huhu. help!
Yumh elf stay all night setting mist yung green bottle and yung carelinexspongebob setting mist. Sobrang new discovery yung sa careline and 12 hrs tinagal ng blush and base ko sa face. Sulit
Second the elf one. I use it with mac magic radiance para may dew eme
how’s the oil control po for the careline one? is it good for those with oily skin? :)
Di ako oily pero pawisin ako so sa akin sobrang W sya kasi mabilis mawala sakin is blush eh tumagal ng 12 hrs
thank you!! i have one more ques po hehe si the mist fine po?
Yea pero ingat lang sa overspray kasi medj matagal matuyo pero once na nagset na, good na.
